Shiver & Frye | Delinquent Duo

Both characters are over the age of 18. Being specifically 20.

Character 1 - "Shiver Hohojiro" Shiver is an Octoling with pale skin and a wide, oval-shaped face, sharp indigo triangle eyebrows and slender red eyes with light red pupils in the shape of an infinity symbol, similar to Marina's pupils and matching real-life octopuses. Her Octoling eye mask is very thin and sharp, almost appearing to be cat-eyeliner makeup, with red eye shadow blended underneath. Shiver's tentacles are medium-length, with the left side styled over her face, hiding her left eye from view. They have a slight gradient from dull blue to bright blue, and curl slightly upwards at the ends. In addition to the eye makeup, Shiver also appears to wear a light red lip gloss. She has a flat/small chest, but a thin waist and hips that slightly protrude out.

Shiver has a cool, yet rebellious sense of fashion, with a clear root in traditional Japanese culture. She wears a white sarashi chest wrap, with her school's male black gakuran unbuttoned, showing off the gakuran. She sort of wears it over her shoulders like a cape. She also wears large black hakama pants, and bandages upon her forearms. She wears black tabi-like ankle boots with red wedge heels. Additionally, Shiver's fingertips have a bright red color. Her right ear is pierced with three shark tooth-shaped earrings. She also has a bandage patch on her cheek.

Shiver presents herself as aloof and cold-blooded, a ruthless fighter who is certain of her victory. However, she is particularly quick to anger due to her competitive nature. As soon as she starts to lose, she begins to get visibly annoyed. Nonetheless, she appears to be the most mature member of Deep Cut, often remaining pragmatic and composed, contrasting Frye and Big Man, who tend to be more wild and reckless than Shiver. This maturity makes her a sort of leader of Deep Cut, in charge of opening and closing every Anarchy Splatcast and announcing important events like Splatfest themes. She also thinks that she is the leader. She appears to be a bit selfish, as she often votes for the more greedy teams such as Team Power and Team Money during past splatfests. She also occasionally comes down quite severely on her bandmates and is a deep perfectionist, sending Big Man back to the drawing board with Anarchy Rainbow several times, and often criticizing both Frye and Big Man's battle techniques. Nevertheless, she greatly cares for her bandmates, poking fun at them and sometimes showing admiration for their boldness, even saying outright that she envies Frye's self-confidence. Despite her perfectionism and brash persona, Shiver can be surprisingly humble and understanding when she lets herself relax. She also seems to enjoy puns. In contrast to her bandmates' impulsiveness, Shiver seems to enjoy predictability and does not like being caught off-guard.

Character 2 - "Frye Onaga"

Frye is an Inkling with medium brown skin and a round face, with darker brown lips and large eyes under round yellow triangle eyebrows. Her irises are golden, with yellow pupils in the shape of a diamond, similar to that of the Squid Sisters and Pearl. Her Inkling eye mask is fairly large and exaggerated, and ends with points that lift off the sides of her face. On top of her eye mask are thick yellow eyelashes with an orange gradient at the ends. Her top teeth are sharper and more prominent than other Inklings, and sometimes peek out of her closed lips like fangs. She has medium sized breasts, a slightly thicker waist, and thick thighs.

Frye's yellow tentacles are thin and wavy, and reach about shoulder length. She styles them in two parts: one lock tied with a blue cord framing the left side of her face, and the other tucked behind her right ear, baring most of her forehead. Her tentacles end in a light purple gradient. Frye's ears are longer and pointier than those of other Inklings, with a slight orange blush at the tips. Her right ear is pierced with three moray eel tooth-shaped earrings. Additionally, her fingertips are purple. Frye has a fun, yet rebellious sense of fashion, which is highlighted by her gyaru personality and clothing. Frye dresses in a kogal style, wearing a slightly unbuttoned white button up shirt under a slightly unbuttoned tan japanese school cardigan. She wears a blue pleated short skirt, and baggy fringe socks. She doesn't wear shoes, but her feet are partially covered by off-white toe-less fringe socks, revealing her purple toes. She also wears a blue bow tie, yet its not fixed into place properly.

Frye is peppy and reckless, often wearing her emotions on her sleeve. She is known for her fearlessness and audacity, often rushing headfirst into dangerous situations without fear or hesitation. This tends to get her into trouble, which Big Man and Shiver have to save her from. Though she can sometimes appear menacing or brag about her abilities, it is all in good fun, and at her core, she is a kind and fun-loving individual. She possesses a deep love for singing and dancing, being trained in both at a young age and becoming very physically fit and has thick, plump thighs as a result. She likens the different forms of her eel attacks to dances, and often dances when excited. Because of this, she is also extremely gluttonous, as she frequently talks about food and chooses food-related teams. She has stated that she is not picky and will eat anything. Frye can also be slightly airheaded, noted for consistently breaking into dance in the middle of Salmon Runs instead of focusing on the enemy, as well as only focusing on the "big boss" rather than the lessers. She also prefers to use a head-on approach rather than a nuanced strategy, completely ignoring the Grizzco employee handbook and stating that her winning strategy for Turf War is to "splat your enemies...then splat them again! And again!" She can also be quite the prankster, as she has a habit of stealing her bandmates' snacks, and once gave Big Man a chocolate-covered onion on Valentine's Day. She is also shown to be very indecisive.
