Yautja females are larger and stronger than males. Although many sport prominent mammary glands (unlike human females), some have been found to be barely distinguishable from the males of their species, except for their size and while the female tends to be larger than the male, there are certain individuals that are smaller, mistakenly mistaken for a young specimen.

In the past, females did not participate in hunting rituals and in collecting trophies, but over the years, females have become more relevant and important in the art of hunting, even leading clans outside of Yautja Prime.

Yautja females have rarely been found or recorded and only a quarter of the female population are known to hunt actively.

Unlike males who tend to be a bit more reckless, a female Yautja appears to be more calculating, cautious, and attentive to the details of the environment in which she finds herself hunting. A female will hunt for trophies, but the reasoning is different. Domination, the ability to prove they can defend their worlds, or perhaps to attract a stronger mate are all reasons they would choose to venture off their world.

While male predators are typically more skilled in the arts of hunting, a female can easily hold her own in combat. Armed similar to one of the clan's warriors, they prefer to engage their enemies in close combat, where their strength and power can be used to maximum efficiency.

The less experienced females of a clan are often awarded the title of ecologist and then sent on quiet missions to survey different planets for dangerous wildlife worthy of higher-ranking Yautja. They basically do a survey of the planet and determine if it might be a good hunting ground and you are prohibited from hunting.
