Only played the first two routes of Dies Irae and honestly forgot some stuff that had to do with him near the end of the Kei route. After I finish the game, Ima go back and fill in all the details.

Shirou Yusa is someone who is always seeking the unknown. He was cursed with "forknowledge", meaning that almost everything had become predictable to him.

Foreknowledge isn't the ability to see the future, but rather just an extremely strong feeling that something will/won't happen.

For example, Shirou frequently gets into fights he shouldn't come out of because he always his the feeling of foreknowledge that he'll make it out unscathed.

He was friends with Ren Fuji (the story's protagonist), but one day he decided to up and leave him because Shirou was tired of his boring life, and they actually ended up in a brawl so bad both of them were nearly dead.

After learning of the Obsidian Round Table, he decides to stick his nose where it doesn't belong and attack the members for money. Because of his foreknowledge, he knows he won't die from any of these battlers, so since he's a thrill seeker he goes into these dangerous fights. Though, he always leaves a bit unsatisfied knowing that there's no true "thrill" for it since he knows the outcome.

As some background, the Obsidian Round Table is like a group of nazis who are still living to this day, though they don't exactly have Nazi ideals. Their leader is Reinhard Heydrich, and he seeks to revive himself by causing a lot of death in certain places.

He actually parallels quite well with one of the other Obsidian Table members, Wilhelm Ehrenburg, in that they're both thrill seekers who for some reason can never feel satisfied. The difference is that Shirou doesn't feel a need to be a sadistic violent psychopath about it.

Overall his personality would be described as: VERY hot headed, brash, able to think under pressure, not fazed easily, mischevious, and a rulebreaker. He is not very fazed easily, he could see all his men get wiped out in a single hit and just think "damn" before heading straight into battle.

Additionally, he isn't exactly a moral person. He was totally fine with putting one of his own loyal men from the Bottomless Pit in an extremely dangerous situation, and didn't seem to care much when he died. He also didn't seem to care too much when all his men in the Bottomless Pit were wiped out.

However, he does have people he cares for, though he has a bit of a hard time showing it, and can be roundabout about it. These people include his girlfriend Eri Honjou, and his two childhood friends Ren Fuji (even though he almost fought him to the death) and Kasumi Ayase.

Finally as for his powers, while he is cursed with foreknowledge, it's also a blessing. He can pretty much predict the attacks of others before they occur, so even though he only has the physical skills of an ordinary human, his prowess in reality is far above superhuman, allowing him to predict and dodge lightning-fast attacks with ease.

He also a desert eagle, which he is a very skilled marskman with. He can switch out different ammo types as well.

He also smokes a lot of cigarettes and curses even more than a sailor ever could.
