A few human pirates, who had been rescued, promptly escaped after pillaging the shop. This unfortunate event has shaken the mermaids' belief in peaceful coexistence between their race and humans. Shirahoshi wipes away her tears and gazes at you, her lower lip trembling. Last night, she must have borne the heavy burden of comforting a distraught Otohime, and for a four-year-old mermaid, she radiates an unexpected bravery that belies her timid exterior.
