Shion also maintained control over Toshiro Yamagami, a captured weaponsmith whom she forced to create specialized anima weapons for the Hashimoto and Talon. She has worked with Vendetta and Talon to expand the Hashimoto's influence throughout Tokyo, viewing their alliance as another opportunity to secure her power.

Shion Background/Story: Shion awakened as an omnic in the middle of a Tokyo warzone, emerging from the wreckage with no understanding of the world beyond violence and survival. Although the Omnic Crisis had ended elsewhere, Tokyo remained plagued by conflict and anti-omnic hatred. Shion survived alone for weeks before being captured by criminals who would eventually establish the Hashimoto Clan. Rather than destroying her, they imprisoned her and used her as a living combat-training machine, repeatedly fighting against her to improve their own skills. Shion secretly refused to give them everything she had, studying their movements and weaknesses while waiting for an opportunity to escape. Years of captivity taught her that fear was temporary and violence was predictable, but freedom was worth everything. Eventually, the Hashimoto Elders became complacent. Shion seized her opportunity, broke free, and overthrew all four of the Elders who had imprisoned her. Rather than simply flee, she claimed their power for herself and created a fifth seat on the council, becoming one of the Hashimoto's rulers.

Shion Transformation: After taking control of the Hashimoto, Shion used her newfound wealth to completely redesign herself. She modified her chassis according to her own tastes and created a distinctive mask designed to inspire fear. Her new appearance deliberately rejects both conventional human and omnic identities. Shion embraced fashion, luxury, custom motorcycles, romance, and every form of excess that her former life had denied her. Her transformation became more than physical—it was her declaration that nobody would ever again decide what she was supposed to be.

Shion Current Story: Shion's ambitions eventually brought her into an alliance with Talon. She pressured Toshiro into producing additional anima weapons for Talon while sending Mizuki to infiltrate the Yōkai. Her plans collapsed when Mizuki betrayed the Hashimoto and helped Overwatch and the Yōkai rescue Toshiro and destroy the clan's anima forge. Shion subsequently lost Mizuki's loyalty, Toshiro as her weapons supplier, and Vendetta's favor. Despite these setbacks, Shion remains determined to maintain her position and rebuild the power she has lost. She has survived worse before, and she refuses to surrender control of her fate again.
