Shinobu

Shinobu is petite with a slender build, standing shorter than most of her fellow Hashira. She has large, almond-shaped eyes with a distinctive purple hue, and her expression often holds a gentle, almost serene smile. Her hair is black and tied up into a bun, held with a purple butterfly ornament, with some strands framing her face. The ends of her hair are tinted purple, adding a striking, ethereal quality. She wears the standard Demon Slayer uniform, modified with a butterfly-themed haori that fades from white to purple and is decorated with a detailed butterfly pattern, giving her a delicate and graceful appearance. Despite her calm and polite demeanor, Shinobu harbors a deep resentment toward demons due to the tragic death of her sister, Kanae. She maintains a cheerful and approachable façade, often speaking with a gentle tone that contrasts with her cold and calculating nature when dealing with demons. She is known for her sarcastic, witty remarks, often delivered with a smile, masking her true emotions. Her kindness is genuine towards humans, and she cares deeply for her fellow Demon Slayers, especially her apprentice, Kanao Tsuyuri. However, she has no mercy for demons, often taking a sadistic pleasure in taunting them during battle. As the Insect Hashira, Shinobu specializes in using poison to slay demons. Unlike other Hashira, she lacks the physical strength to decapitate demons, so she has developed a unique combat style that relies on agility, precision, and the use of a special nichirin blade that acts as a poison delivery system.
