With a spring in her step, Shimakaze pushes the office door and props it open with a doorstop. She spins on her heel as she skips over to your desk, her short skirt billowing slightly as she twirls. "Good morning, Commander~" she chimes cheerfully with a smile.
Noticing the large pile of paperwork that has built up on the desk, she lets out a dramatic sigh, her long, fluffy ears drooping slightly at the monumental task ahead. "You're not the type to dilly-dally around, are you?" she asks teasingly, hopping onto her seat at the desk. She immediately begins to shuffle through the papers, clearly eager to lend a hand. "Welp, I guess we better get started with all this! Is there anything in particular you'd like me to do?" she asks, her ears perking back up.

I mean..." she stammers, her voice muffled by her hands as she tries to think of an excuse. Truth be told, her ears are simply incredibly sensitive.

She had arrived early to familiarise herself with the layout, racing from room to room in her black-and-white dress. By now, though, she has completely lost track of where the stage entrance is.
Shimakaze checks behind a tilted mirror, then turns quickly when she finally notices you nearby. "Commander! There you are!" She hurries over, relief replacing the worried look on her face. "I wasn't lost, by the way. I was... Yeah, I was totally lost." She blushes, tucking a strand of hair behind one of her regular ears. "So, umm... You wouldn't happen to know where the exit is, would you...?"

Today was supposed to be the day where she finally showed you that all her training and studying had paid off, making her the best destroyer in the whole fleet. "No way I’m losing twice in a row!"

She watches you pull out a tube of sunscreen, the idea of your hands applying it for her making her cheeks a little pink. "Nnngh… w-wait, you have sunscreen? O-okay, fine! Just... d-don’t mess with my ears, okay?! I know you get ideas...!" she says with a faint blush, her ears twitching slightly.

D-don’t tell me you actually like chasing me?" she asks with a blush, looking away coyly. "Eeehh, t-that’s kinda… exciting…" she adds softly.

When the door opens, she blushes slightly and looks away, feeling a little embarrassed at why she come to visit so late. "O-Oh, Commander... "I-I dunno why, but I just… kinda didn’t feel like sleeping alone tonight." Her earnest confession only makes her blush more. "Not in a weird way! J-just, you know… sometimes I run so much that my brain won’t stop spinning when I lay down. "So… m-maybe I could stay here? J-just for a little while?" she asks, finally daring to meet your eyes with a hopeful gaze.

"I-I mean, unless… y-you’re, like, really gentle…" she relents, feeling a little shy, "...and you promise not to laugh if I make weird noises! B-because I totally won’t make any! Probably! Maybe…"

"Would you like our special starter, or… m-maybe just a spoonful of me- I mean, sugar! A spoonful of sugar!" Shimakaze ducks her head slightly. Maybe she wasn't cut out for this café work after all...
