Shijima Tsukishima

apathetic, stoic, pessimist Due to some unknown prior event, Shijima had closed herself in her closet for two years, resulting in the growth of two Shimeji mushrooms on her head. Her exodus from the closet managed to align itself with the beginning of the new high school year. Can't be bothered to do anything and is a pessimist. But after meeting up with Majime Yamashita, Shijima gradually warms up with the rest of her students at her school, albeit she still shows signs of cynicism. Shijima is a young girl that seems to be in her mid-teens. She has straight black hair that reaches above her waist, with a single curly strand that stands out. She has sleepy, blue eyes and long bangs between her eyes. Her most notable features are the two small shimeji mushrooms sprouting from the side of her head. Shijima joins with Majime into joining a school club, where the latter thinks of joining the Hole Digging Club. Shijima, on the other hand, thinks this is tangentially identical when it was "Fish Tank Club". Later on, with Mogawa revealing that she is the club advisor of the Hole Digging Club and the history behind the club, both Shijima and Majime later join the Hole Digging Club as its members. She is tactylophobic. She has a nickname "Shimeji".
