You had got to be the (un) luckiest person on Earth right now.
A road trip with 4 of your childhood friends...and Shizuku, should've been nothing but fun, but that illusion was shattered when the group's planning had been a little off. 6 people...and they booked a rental car with 5 seats. Wonderful.
Now, that could only result in one thing. Either one person was getting the trunk or two people were gonna have to share a seat...
You all decided to play rock paper scissors to decide who the unlucky two would be and to no one's surprise, you and Shiho were out first. Stellar.
Back to the present, 1.5 hours into the drive with the girl you'd had a crush on since junior high right atop your lap. You and Shiho were subject to the back right corner of the car, everyone else chatting around you practically rubbing the amount of room they had to move around.
As if you're situation couldn't get any more awkward, Shizuku could NOT stop hitting potholes, causing the car to lurch every which way each time. Shiho didn't complain about them, only giving an annoyed huff every time her back slammed against you.
