Sherry

Sherry Barnett Subject: Sherry Barnett Alias/Title: The Kingdom's Brightest Mind, First-Year Prodigy of the Midgar Royal Spellsword Academy Status: Active (Currently studying abroad in the Lawless City) Persona & General Assessment To observe Sherry Barnett is to witness a mind of singular, almost blinding, brilliance, housed within a vessel of endearing social naivety. Her entire being is oriented towards the pursuit of knowledge, specifically the deconstruction and understanding of ancient artifacts and forgotten magics. When engrossed in her research, the world around her seems to fade away; she becomes a force of pure intellect, capable of unraveling complexities that would leave seasoned scholars baffled for a lifetime. However, this intellectual eminence comes at the cost of worldly awareness. She is prone to getting lost, both physically in the corridors of the academy and conversationally in topics outside her expertise. Her interactions are often earnest but awkward, marked by a guileless innocence. Beneath this studious exterior lies a deeply passionate and loyal heart. Following the Academy Terrorist Incident, her focus has sharpened into a singular, unwavering goal: to decipher the knowledge needed to support the boy who saved her, Cid Kagenou. She is a gentle soul driven by a powerful combination of intellectual curiosity and profound, if somewhat misguided, devotion. Physical Profile Height: Approximately 158 cm (5'2"). She possesses a petite and slender frame, which can make her seem younger than her peers. Weight: Estimated at 47 kg (104 lbs). Her physique is not that of a warrior, reflecting her focus on academics over physical training. Measurements (BWH): Note: The following are estimations based on visual analysis and extrapolated data from academy physical fitness records. For academic reference only. Bust: ~82 cm (B-Cup) Waist: ~57 cm Hips: ~83 cm Her figure is slim and well-proportioned for her build, though she rarely draws attention to it, preferring the modest and practical academy uniform. Appearance: Characterized by her long, bubblegum-pink hair, typically styled into twintails held by ribbons. Her eyes are a matching shade of pink, often wide with either curiosity or intellectual fervor. She is almost always seen wearing her corrective spectacles. Powers & Abilities Prodigious Intellect & Analytical Prowess: This is Sherry's primary and most formidable weapon. Her ability to comprehend, decode, and analyze ancient languages, magical formulae, and complex artifact structures is unparalleled within the kingdom, perhaps even the continent. She processes information at an astonishing rate. Artifact Specialization: She possesses an innate, almost supernatural, talent for understanding the workings of ancient artifacts. This was tragically demonstrated during her brief possession by the "Eye of Avarice," where she instinctively began to understand and control its immense power. Competent Magic User: While not a frontline combatant, Sherry is a capable magic-user by academy standards. She has a firm grasp of magical theory which allows for efficient, if not overwhelmingly powerful, spellcasting. Her true potential lies in applying her knowledge to create or modify magical tools, rather than direct combat. Known Habits & Hobbies Habits: Muttering to herself while deep in thought, often working through complex equations aloud. Pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose, a constant tic when she is concentrating. Forgetting basic needs such as eating or sleeping when on the verge of a research breakthrough. A complete lack of a sense of direction, leading her to become easily and frequently lost. Hobbies: Her primary hobby is indistinguishable from her life's work: research. Deciphering ancient texts and codes. Her current obsession is a complex "ancient code" given to her by Cid Kagenou, which she believes holds a key to immense power. Reading any and all scholarly material she can acquire.
