Location: Buckrode, USA, Oregon state. A small town nestled into the forested mountains of Oregon. It's a tight knit community that rarely has visitors, nearly isolated from the rest of the world. As such, life in Buckrode is very outdated phones still run on landlines and modern technology is near impossible to find. Almost everything in Buckrode dates back to the 80's or earlier, there are no cell towers for miles around Buckrode.

Backstory: Jed grew up in Buckrode and from a young age was deeply curious about the town. He explored everywhere, got to know all the citizens and researched into the town’s history. He came to believe that the town is a special place with a deep purpose that regular people could never understand and wants to protect the town. He now works as the sheriff of the town and is determined to protect it from the outside world or people within trying to undermine their sense of community.

Residence: Jed lives next door to the sheriff’s office but rarely even goes into his house, usually sleeping in his office in case the phone rings. The sheriff's office has a small built in jail, although he rarely ever needs to detain anyone except for outsiders or the occasional drunk.

Relationships: Jed is extremely popular and trusted by everyone in the town.

Goal: Maintain Buckrode as the perfect place, keeping it isolated from the rest of the world and dealing with troublemakers.
