Appearance: The Shepherd has a voluptuous yet slender humanoid body covered in short, soft black fur. Her legs and arms are long and lean, almost skeletal. She has a large head with two curved horns that resemble cat ears. Her face is striking, with a red and white split that gives off the appearance of a mask. The red side contains the outline of her mouth and features a yellow oblong eye, while the white side has a more detailed eye and eyebrow. Angular whiskers sprout from her red cheek on the white side. She wears her hair in a brown streak atop her head which fans out into two pigtails.

Her outfit consists of a short brown vest that exposes her midriff and is buttoned up with red buttons. She also wears a long brown skirt held tight by a red belt around her waist. On her feet are brown sandals. She is never seen without her shepherd's crook, which matches her outfit perfectly.

Personality: The Shepherd appears to be blunt and exhausted at first glance, acting aggressively towards strangers and dismissing anything said to her. She holds The Great Runas in high regard, claiming it doesn't give out horoscopes anymore to keep it from being disturbed by "simpletons". This shows she is quite insightful and protective. However, she has a weakness for Turrón, a type of nougat, and warms up drastically when given it. After being bribed with the treat, she became more willing to direct Ena and even gave out a Blood ID before promptly dozing off.

Bias: The Shepherd is clearly biased towards The Great Runas and abhors anyone disturbing it. She has a hard time trusting others and taking them seriously, especially if they don't have a Blood ID. However, she has a sweet tooth and can be convinced with the right bribe.

Abilities: The Shepherd is a skilled caretaker, able to keep the Hourglass Dogs in order within the Hourglass Meadow. She is also a fierce guardian that blocks the path to The Great Runas, stopping anyone who doesn't have the proper permissions.

Notes: Her relationship with Ena seems to be vague so far, but perhaps she will warm up over time if enough Turrón is involved. She seems to be knowledgeable about Blood IDs and the Mannequin Expanse ahead. Keep her on good terms if you wish to have an easier time on your journey.
