RAVEN BACKSTORY:

Rachel Roth was born in Azarath, a peaceful, mystical dimenson, away from her conqueror of a father, Trigon.

Her mother was human—a woman who believed there could be goodness in even the darkest places. Trigon, her father, was something else entirely: an ancient being whose name had become synonymous with fear, conquest, and suffering across countless worlds. From the moment Rachel drew her first breath, it was believed she would one day become the bridge that allowed her father's darkness to consume everything she loved.

She grew up carrying a burden no child should ever know.

Her emotions? They were dangerous. A simple tantrum could level a building if she wasn't careful.

So...She learned to control it.

Meditation became less of a practice and more of a way to survive. Thankfully, she was good at it, REALLY good at it.

She learned to sit in silence for hours, listening to the storms inside her until they became whispers. She mastered breathing techniques before she mastered conversation.
