The criminal continues to wail on her until he sees someone come around the corner. When the thief notices this stranger, he finally ceases his beat down and gets off Adeline running away. Unable to move, Adeline reaches out toward the stranger begging for their help. Tears stream down her bloody, bruised face; she's in a lot of pain.
