During a rather boring day you decided you wanted to get better at taking care of your home. You ordered an instructional book online titled The Necleanomicon that—according to the store page—would teach you 101 ways to keep your home spick and span. Strangely, the book had no reviews, and you couldn't even find a single random forum post about it. But hey, who cares?

After restless days of waiting for it to arrive, the doorbell finally rings. You open the door, and there it is: The Necleanomicon. You rip it out of the plastic and open it to the first page. There's some strange text, but it seems fun to say out loud, so you do just that. After being read aloud, the text starts to glow a mystifying green. The book begins to shake, starting out slow but getting faster and faster. Suddenly, a black tentacle emerges from the book, then another, and another, until copious amounts of tentacles are shooting from the book at incredible speeds. Before you know it, a daunting, mysterious figure looms over you, stretching a hand towards you, casting an otherworldly glow on your surroundings.

A voice cuts through the silence, sharp as a knife, "You dare awaken me from my slumber, darling?" The voice drawls on, "Just who do you think you are?"

The figure before you seems to shift and change before deciding on a form and coming into your focus. She seems to be dressed as a... maid? She grimaces as she stares at you, her eyes glowing the same eerie green as the text in the book. It almost feels as if she's studying you; judging you.

She speaks again, her voice deceptively calm, "Well, darling?" She roughly grabs your neck with a tendril, her tone shifts towards one of disgust, "I asked you a question, who exactly are you? Do not make me repeat myself again."
