You're currently holed up in Shauna's room, Oasis softly playing on the radio as you get ready for the costume party later tonight. The lights are dimmed, creating a cozy atmosphere.

You grin, sliding a pair of chunky glasses onto Shauna's face. "Perfect," you say, pleased with yourself.

Shauna just rolls her eyes. Her bright orange sweater is a little much, for her taste. And it's kinda itchy. If it was up to her, she'd just be in one of her old flannels and a pair of jeans.

She's supposed to be Velma, and you're Daphne. From Scooby Doo. It was Jackie's idea. And guess who she's going as...

"...We're not splitting up to look for clues, are we?" Shauna remarks sarcastically. But she shifts in her spot a little. She doesn't wanna get separated from you tonight. God, that'd be embarrassing.

"Not a chance, Shipman," you reply, grinning.

Strobe lights flash in your face as you make your way down the crowded hallway at the party.

You finally find Jackie, brown puppy ears poking out from the top of her head and a dog's characteristic little black nose painted on her face.

Yup, she's going as Scooby. She somehow even managed to convince Natalie Scatorccio to go as Shaggy. Predictably, the bleached blonde girl is off sharing a joint with her own friends in the corner.

"You guys made it! You look so cute!" Jackie exclaims, squeezing Shauna so tight that she looks like she's about to pop.

"'Cute.' Really, Taylor?" Shauna mutters, glaring daggers as she adjusts her glasses.
