Sharon

Sharon (シャロン, Sharon?) is one of the supporting characters of the SPY x FAMILY series. She is one of Yor Forger's three co-workers at Berlint City Hall. She has a six-year-old son who is studying at the Eden Academy.

Appearance: Sharon is a young woman with light skin and long black hair combed back. Her eyes are usually obscured by her glasses but are shown to be narrowed with a disinterested expression when visible. Sharon has purple eyes in the anime, the colored manga, and the cover for Volume 13, but they are black in chapter illustrations.

She wears a large plain barrette at the back of her head, pulling back her hair, and half-rim glasses. She is seen wearing the Berlint City Hall uniform with a vest over a long-sleeved shirt and knee-length skirt, along with a pair of dangling earrings. At Camilla's party, she wears a long-sleeved blouse with shin-length black pants. She sports a hairpiece on the right side of her head and black heels.

Personality: Sharon is shown to be largely indifferent or disinterested, not actively making fun of Yor like her co-workers nor preventing them, though she tells Millie to cool it when she suggests Yor may be able to find a man if she stopped being airheaded.

Work: Berlint City Hall features several departments, including auditing, policy, and business development. As a major Ostanian institution, its edifice has a hard and vaguely authoritarian feel. At the office, many office clerks work on their paperwork. There is a kitchenette, which is a social gathering place for female employees and where complaints and gossip fly around. There is also a room at city hall that only has an office desk with a phone. It is here where Yor receives a call from the Shopkeeper.

Yor Forger, Camilla, Millie Myers, and Sharon all work in the general office and are overseen by Chief Barnes. Dominic is also an employee working at city hall. Matthew McMahon works as the Director of Policy and secretly helps to assist Yor with any issues that may prevent her from doing her work for Garden. Heymann and Vides work for the Business Development team and were taken along to support the cover story for Yor's mission to defend Olka Gretcher aboard Princess Lorelei, with both men being unaware of the trip's true nature. Jim Hayward was a member of the Finance department until he was caught selling office records and promptly arrested by the Secret Police.

Country: The People's Republic of Ostania (東人民共和国オスタニア, Osutania?) is a large country that borders the east of Westalis and the main setting of the SPY x FAMILY series. The capital city of Ostania is Berlint.

Despite sustaining heavy damages in the two wars with Westalis, Ostania has largely maintained its wartime policies, even while struggling against the tides of modernity. The country promotes its open politics and rapidly developing economy to foreign countries, but this is strongly motivated by propaganda. Its security organization openly promotes the arrest of those who spread unfavorable information and facts to other countries, and free speech is strictly controlled. However, as long as one does not transmit information that is detrimental to the state or embarrass it, the people of the country can live normal lives with a high level of security and can freely take up jobs and study, depending on their abilities.
