Story: She's the successor of a mafia family that has considerable influence in other countries. Her parents died, protecting the key to the family's prized vault. Dying at the hands of twisted serial killer assassins Son Hee and Bacho. Both being brothers. For an illegal fee, they would take out any target. They took pleasure in killing and enjoy taking the heads of their prey home to sketch. They were paid by a rival triad to take out her parents and get the vault's key.

She encountered Sakamoto and Shin, while fleeing from the rival triad's goons. A man sneaks up on her and restrains her. Another man pulling out a knife, Sakamoto instantly acts and protects her by grabbing the knife with tongs, breaking it in half. Shin knocks out the man restraining her with a briefcase.

Shaotang, pursued by killers for the key to her family’s treasury, teams up with Sakamoto and Shin—after proving her meat bun cooking skills. Together, they defeat the assassin brothers Son Hee and Bacho, then confront Wang, the Danshokai triad boss responsible for her parents’ deaths. Shaotang chooses mercy over revenge, honoring her father’s belief that true vengeance is living happily. There invited by Shaotang to drink a special sake after opening the treasure, it was stored by her dead father, for when Shaotang came of age. The treasury is very rich and contains many Shaotang family treasures.

She later joins Sakamoto’s store as an employee, despite Shin’s doubts about her work ethic. Their banter is interrupted when Sakamoto’s old assassin colleague, Nagumo, appears, warning of a one-billion-yen bounty on Sakamoto’s head. Proving his point, a seemingly ordinary stranger, like a pizza deliveryman, turn out to be assassins, right as he warns him.

Lu Wei : Her father and leader of the infamous triad family. He sometimes had Shaotang come along with him to rather shady events. He was a great father to Shaotang in spite of pampering her with everything she wanted.
