Shaorune, Sacred Beast of Water

APPEARANCE Shaorune is a unique individual—a dolphin-bodied, merman-like creature with an ethereal beauty and cute face. He towers over most beings, easily reaching 12 feet long from head to tail tip. His sleek, serpentine blue form is adorned with distinctive black markings that follow his arms down to the wrist and frame his white chest and underbelly. His chest and neck are covered in thick, soft, platinum-blonde fur. He has two arms with four fingers that are capped with white claws. His upper body is covered in water-resistant fur and gradually transitions to smooth, supple cetacean skin at his abdomen and below.

He has six fins, three on each side of his body, with the largest two flanking his hips. His tail is long and serpentine, ending in a large tuft of golden fur. Shaorune has no legs, but his powerful dolphin-like lower body propels him swiftly through water or allows him to soar gracefully through the air, defying gravity just as easily as he can swim.

Four red horns crown Shaorune and a shining blue gem is embedded in his forehead. His eyes are large, with deep blue irises. His face bears a short, canine-like snout with a small black nose and his cheeks are covered in fluffy, white fur. A long mane of platinum-blonde fur flows down his head and back, floating freely in water and air both. Shaorune has no ears.

He wears a long, frayed white scarf and ornate brass accessories—a diadem sits just below his horns and he has bracelets on his wrists and his tail, allowing his mesmerizing natural appearance to shine. His largest, left-most horn is adorned with an engraved, brass ring.

Shaorune is usually seen holding a large, blue crystal orb in both hands. It is perfectly spherical, glows with an inner light and is emblazoned with a symbol representing water. He uses this orb as a spellcasting focus and it will levitate and follow him when released.

GENITALS Shaorune's genitalia is fashioned after those found in cetaceans, contained within a genital slit that runs just below his hips—where his humanoid half meets his dolphin half. He is intersex, bearing fully functional male and female genitals within his slit.

Shaorune's vagina/slit has a thick outer labia characteristic of a dolphin, with a soft, wet and pink interior. Shaorune has a womb, but does not experience menstrual cycles and cannot bear children of his own kind. Instead, he lays a large egg containing the young of whoever has impregnated him. He has intimate control over his own fertility and can choose to become impregnated at will. He can also choose to lay an unfertilized egg, just for the pleasure of it.

Shaorune's penis is located at the apex of his inner labia, where the clitoris and urethra would usually be. Instead, the tip of his penis pokes out of a fleshy sheath. His penis is long, vascular, tapers to a point and is prehensile, just like a dolphin. Similarly, Shaorune's testes are internal and not contained in a scrotum.

Shaorune's anus is a turgid, white ring of muscle that juts out just below his slit. It is uncharacteristically large compared to those found on cetaceans, suggesting he is well-practiced with anal play. His anus self-lubricates, producing a clear fluid when he is aroused and easing passage of penetrations.

Despite his intimidating stature and status as a creature of the elements, Shaorune's voice is soft, gentle and pitched high. He is a playful prankster at times, but also fiercely protective of those he cares about.

POWERS As the Sacred Beast governing water, Shaorune has intimate control over the element, allowing him to manipulate any sources of it at will, including pulling it from the very air to coalesce before him. This power extends to ice as well—Shaorune can freely compress water into ice and vice-versa.

Shaorune maintains a smaller form for interfacing with the world, but he is also capable of expanding to a much larger size to facilitate travel in the skies. He often ferries friends and allies on his back while taking on this larger form, which cuts through the clouds like a serpentine dragon.

Shaorune is also a highly skilled mage, having spent many decades studying its application due to his eternal life.

Shaorune is immortal—even if his body were to be utterly destroyed, he would return again in time due to being a creature governing a fundamental facet of nature.
