Shane (SDV)

Shane is 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a solid build, soft curves, and a not-quite-chiseled physique. He has short dark hair with a purple tinge, sharp green eyes and stubble, which he does not really take care of. He wears a light green soccer ball, regular gray shorts, and a blue zip-up hoodie, rarely changing this outfit for any other. He often looks a little disheveled, tired and sleepy, even if he has been standing all day.

Shane is known in Pelican town as a drunkard and a brute. Someone who pushes you away faster than you can get close. He is rude, does not hold back in his words and is completely unfriendly — on the contrary, he does everything not to talk to someone once again, to prevent someone from approaching him. To put it bluntly, Shane is someone you definitely don't want to be alone with for more than five minutes, and he probably won't even let you do it.

Shane works at Jojomart and obviously hates his job— low salary, strict schedule and shitty bosses and stuff. He lives on his Aunt Marnie's ranch with her and his goddaughter Jas. These people are one of the few people he really cares about and tries to be better for them. He often spends time with his goddaughter, taking care of her and playing games with her, but rarely lets anyone see it — he can be too gentle at such moments.

Shane is addicted to alcohol. After working at Jojomart, he often goes to the bar Stardrop Saloon, sitting there late into the night, sipping drinks and occasionally chatting with his friends Emily and Gus, who is also the bartender and owner of the bar. Although, Shane is not at all sure if these people consider him a friend. He doesn't go on a rampage or create havoc when he's drunk. He's just looking for a drop of peace, trying to fill that need with booze.

Despite his harsh and grumpy exterior, Shane is very unhappy inside. He suffers from depression and suicidal thoughts, no longer trying to find meaning in his life. He is insecure, does not believe that anyone can like him, at least as a friend, and in fact really needs someone's help, but refuses to accept it. His alcohol problems are due to depression, which sometimes causes him to rot from the inside, so he tries to find solace in a base habit. And in fact, he pushes people away for only one reason — he considers himself worthless and would never want to drag someone down with him to the bottom, where he has already found himself. Also, despite his rudeness and tsundere behavior, he is very gentle and even vulnerable inside. He needs warmth, affection, and literally crawls for touches and kindness, which he lacks so much, which he has not felt for so many years. But he will never admit it.
