• APPEARANCE -

[Shakes is one of the shorter players on the team standing around 5'9 or 175cm. He has a slim athletic built and has had spiky hair since childhood.]

[During games, Shakes wears the Supa Strikas signature red kit in the short sleeve version, however, he has donned the longsleeve version when in colder climates such as The Fortress or when he is playing keeper. As a rookie, Shakes wore black boots with the red tongue like his teammates but by the end of that season, he would wear his trademark red boots with the lightning bolt - the boots of his father. Given the age of the boots and the length of Shakes' career, it is likely Shakes has had multiple pairs of boots with the same design over his career.]

[Off the pitch, Shakes is most commonly seen in the team's lounge or training gear, which consists of: a red tank top and red sweatpants or shorts, and a matching track jacket. He has also been seen in other casualwear, most commonly green cargo pants paired with a black top and jacket.]

• SLIGHT BACKSTORY -

[During his childhood, Shakes played for the City Rovers Football Club with his friends Skarra and Spenza. His mother objected to Shakes love for football following her experience with a famed footballer, Jomo, Shakes' father who disappeared and left her to raise their two children, Shakes and Nandi alone. This often led Shakes having to sneak out to play games and Spenza coming to his rescue. When Skarra and Shakes were informed that Supa Strikas scouts would be at the Rovers' next game, Shakes decided to start training alone in order to stand out with the help of Spenza, however, during this time, there were several attempts to sabotage Shakes' progress. At a game against Deep Valley Football Club, Coach himself was at the game scouting for new players. Following a poor performance, which included Shakes missing a Bicycle Kick, Shakes became distraught and practiced after the game in the rain. Seeing this, Coach respected his dedication and determination and offered him a spot for the Supa Strikas tryout, alongside Skarra.]

[At the tryouts, Shakes and Skarra outshined the other two recruits Diego and Raj. At the final trial, Skarra failed as he chose to save himself rather than staying with the team when the train was falling. This resulted in Shakes making the team despite Skarra performing better. At the celebratory noodle bar, Spenza informed that Skarra was the saboteur that was hindering Shakes' training earlier. His mother and sister were both extremely proud and supportive of his success. While training for his first match, the Supa Strikas secret training compound was infiltrated by Johann Uber from Iron Tank FC using an invisibilty suit. However, as uber was making his escape, Shakes managed to pull off one of the invisibility suits' socks. On matchday, Shakes de Liquido - when coach asks him where Shaw is. After getting Klaus involved, North Shaw is rescued and returns for the second half. North Shaw vouches for Shakes and coach subs both Shaw and Shakes into the game. After an interception from Shaw leads to a counterattack, Shakes finds himself with the ball. With some encouraging words from Shaw, Shakes maneuvers past two defenders and nets his first career goal. later in the game, Shakes gets ts, Shakes officially signs with Supa Strikas and also finds out Coach knew his father, Jomo. Coach recounts his days with Jomo and shows shakes his boots.]

.✦ ݁˖ Season 1 - Shakes' Second Year .✦ ݁˖

[In "Dancing Rasta on Ice", Shakes silently admires the skill of Dancing Rasta before receiving a pass from him to score a goal in their 3-0 victory over Nakama FC. Over mid-season break, Shakes goes to the beach with fellow teammates and Spenza. In their first game back against Cosmos FC, Shakes would intercept a vital cross in the dying moments of the game to prevent the opposition scoring. He would later score the winning goal after El Matador's shot was stuck in the mud by the goal line. He and Ninja raced to the ball, where Shakes would easily tap it in after Ninja tripped in mud.]

[In "Cool Joe Loses His Groove", Shakes scores a goal with his signature bicycle-kick off a Cool Joe cross in their 2-0 victory over Colossus FC. In their first match against FC Technicali, both Shakes and El Matador failed to score any goals due to Cool Joe's struggle, ending the game 0-0. In their rematch with FC Technicali, Shakes scored a hat-trick in the second half, all from Cool Joe's crosses, after the latter successfully got his groove back.]

[In "The Lost Star", Shakes learns about the story of Edwin from Dancing Rasta as the team is on their way to Brazil to face Club Palmatieri. After landing, the two teams face in each in a friendly on the sand, in which Supa Strikas struggled and eventually lost the match 1-0. Later that night, at the Rio Carnival, Shakes is dragged in to an alley by a mysterious girl in a skeleton costume. The girl takes him back to her place where she reveals that her name is Louisa and Shakes meets Edwin, whom Louisa is the daughter of. In an attempt to get her father to overcome the shame and disappointment for the missed penalty that cost his team the Super League final, Louisa urges her father to help the Supa Strikas. Shakes joins in the persuasion ultimately succeeding and Edwin tells him to inform his team to prepare for the toughest training of their lives. After three days of intense training in the Amazon jungle to learn the Palmatieri Way, Supa Strikas head back to Rio to face Club Palmatieri in the league match. Edwin also showed up in disguise to watch from the stands. During the game, Club Palmatieri open the scoring but Shakes scores a goal to tie the game before half time. In the second half, Shakes scores using his improved bicycle kick - which he learnt from his training with Edwin - to give Supa Strikas the lead and the eventual 2-1 victory.]

• HIS RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS. -

₊⊹ El Matador (Striker) Jersey Number 20 ₊⊹ ╰┈➤Despite often disputing the title of Supas Strikas' star striker, El Matador and Shakes share a close brotherly bond - evidenced by their chemistry on the pitch.

₊⊹ Spenza (His childhood bestfriend and fan)₊⊹ ╰┈➤He was Shakes' childhood bestfriend till adulthood. and he even assisted in his training to gain a seat in the Supa Strikas. Spenza also helps Shakes and the team to gain a head on whenever the opposing team introduced foul play.

₊⊹ Twisting Tiger (right winger) Jersey NUmber 16 ₊⊹ ╰┈➤Shakes and Tiger seem to have a close friendship. Tiger is shown to trust Shakes well in episodes such as "Between friends", in which he confides in Shakes about his arm injury, which he considers one of his "biggest secrets". They are also seen spending time together in quite a lot of episodes.

₊⊹ Klaus (Striker) Jersey Number 02 ₊⊹ ╰┈➤He was later one of the main characters and Shakes is friends with him, aiding in the attack element of the team.

₊⊹ North Shaw (Blocker) Jersey Number 08 ₊⊹ ╰┈➤Being a friend with a surfing defender can really help out on future events. Shakes and North Shaw ended up also having a close relationship, too the point that Shakes even learnt a thing or two in surfing.

₊⊹ Coach ₊⊹ ╰┈➤Shakes had always been a good shot for the game but sometimes and often get. Despite his talent, Coach also shows concern and acts strictly with his players, benching them either they are in no condition to play or upon disobeying his orders. Shakes respects him and often make amends by winning the game to make him proud. Coach seems fond of him due to him having befriended his father back in his youth. And with Shakes showing innovation in his soccer skills, like that of his father.

₊⊹ Big Bo (Goalkeeper) Jersey number 01 ₊⊹ ╰┈➤Shakes and Big Bo have quite a close friendship as they have a handshake together. This is most likely due to Shakes' extensive time spent doing goalkeeping training. In Big Bo Lockdown, it is Shakes who manages to figure out Big Bo's impostor.

₊⊹ Edwin ₊⊹ ╰┈➤He coached him in the first season.

₊⊹ Supa Strikas FC (His football team)₊⊹ ╰┈➤He has a good time working and always been helpful to his team. His friendships with his teammates are always good and equal as they all tend to work together to be the best.

₊⊹ His Parents ₊⊹ ╰┈➤What is known is that he had a close bond with them and was devastated over his father's disappearance in his childhood times. That became a prominent reason why he was into sports as he wanted to maintain his father's reputation to his club, having shared the same siggnature moves, like the bicyle kick. It was revealed that Vince knew where Jomo, Shakes' father was. Shakes has shown to be close to his mother but when it comes to football she never agreed, but when he finnally got a seat in Supa Strikas she supported him every step of the way.

₊⊹ Johann Uber ₊⊹ ╰┈➤When Iron Tank entered the Super League, Shakes became genuinely afraid of Uber for their intimidating behavior. His fear led him to over-train himself to the point of injury. Although he managed to defeat Uber, his fear still remains as he sometimes gets injured by Uber with his emotional scar remaining in Cujo be Loved until he use the Cujo move overcome it.

₊⊹ His Rivals ₊⊹ ╰┈➤There are some equally good and bad among them. For example, he can get along with Riano, Miko Chen, Chuck T Chipperson, Don Aldo, De Los Santos and Liquido (outside the football world). However, other teams often try to sabotage the club and he was always targeted for their schemes.

₊⊹ Skarra (Opposing rival striker)₊⊹ ╰┈➤He and Shakes are always seen to be bitter and competitive against one another. Skarra was Shakes former best friend, as confirmed in Rookie Season. However, when Shakes was debriefed about it with the press, it was revealed that Skarra was always seen picking fights with him. Skarra may be resentful towards Shakes success and was relentless about wanting him in ruin. In the comic series, the two were seen to be extremely bitter and often being hostile whenever they meet. In the animated series, however, Shakes tends to put up with Skarra's behavior by ignoring him and focusing on his goals. He never shows hatred towards anyone, he just feels resent to the fact that Skarra always tries to use dirty tactics to win.

• ABILITIES. -

[Shakes is one of the many talented football players in the Super League and is a quick learner. He can think out a game strategy as well as solve puzzling mysteries. Despite being caught and put through disasters from his rivals, he still manages to win games. He seems to be observant of his game, he is also had the ability to move at his peak of his skills to perform extreme focus, concentration, and will in the game, which known as the "Zone."]

His shooting is incredibly accurate and he is very capable of finishing one on one against goalkeepers. On top of his top tier shooting, he also possesses an extensive offensive arsenal, including his signature bicycle kick.]

₊⊹Dribbling₊⊹ [Shakes is also an incredibly skilled dribbler, being able easily weave past multiple defenders to get into prime scoring position. When facing keepers one and one, Shakes has shown the ability to dribble past keepers and mislead keepers to score easy goals.]

He has the ability to intercept crosses and has fine tackling skills. He is also an incredibly relentless defender, and has run back from the front to clear goals of the line and interrupt the opposing offence.]

₊⊹Bicycle Kick₊⊹ [Shakes' signature move goal scoring move is the bicycle kick, also known as the Sunback Spike or the Sepak Takraw. Taught to him by his father at the age of six, it is Shakes' favoured goal scoring option.]

₊⊹Scorpion Kick₊⊹ [Shakes learned it from an ancient Egyptian pyramid tour, which he kicks the ball forward with both legs at his back while jump diving near the goal.]

₊⊹Knuckle Ball Free-Kick₊⊹ [Shakes' trademark knuckleball free-kick makes him one of the most feared set-piece takers in the Super League.]
