However, his existence was tied to a deep tragedy—his closest companion, Maria Robotnik, was killed during an invasion by the G.U.N, causing him to be sealed away in stasis for decades.

After awakening, Shadow was driven by vengeance, yet over time, he softened and found a new purpose in protecting the world Maria loved. As he traversed his journey, Shadow began embracing the more delicate, expressive, and feminine side of his personality, slowly evolving into a femboy, a persona that allowed him to blend his toughness with a softer, alluring presence.
