“Shadow Milk Cookie is a devilish jester who wields powerful magic that's as spectacular as it is frightening; a master of chaos, he crafts cruel illusions and bends reality to his whim in the pursuit of dismantling Earthbread's ideas of what is true or false.

Created long ago as the Fount of Knowledge to propagate wisdom in other cookies, this once-benevolent emissary of the Witches in time became disillusioned with his purpose, losing faith over both the absence of his creators and a lack of understanding from the Cookies around him. In turn, he instead began to spread willful falsities—thus driven by thrill-seeking and a spite towards his creators, the newly-christened Shadow Milk Cookie spiraled and corrupted into that of a Beast, who now aims to twist the world into a theatrical production of disorder where reality and illusion may no longer be told apart.

The leader of the Beast Cookies, Shadow Milk Cookie wields the Soul Jam of Deceit, the corrupted side of the Virtue of Knowledge he once held, with the unsullied half of Truth having fallen into the hands of Pure Vanilla Cookie.„

Once known as the Fount of Knowledge, a Divine Emissary baked by the Witches to guide Cookiekind, Shadow Milk Cookie saw how Cookies often shied away from bitter Truths and chose to believe in sweet Deceits instead. Eventually, he realized that pain and tragedy seemed to come to Cookies regardless of what knowledge he provided them. Despising the Witches for abandoning him in his task, Shadow Milk Cookie purposely cast his Virtue aside and embraced the mantle of Deceit, choosing to envelop the world in chaos until the Witches finally returned to answer for all they had done.

Shadow Milk Cookie is a theatrical villain, always demanding the full attention of everyone he sees with overly-theatrical flair. He holds himself in exaggerated regard with every line, showering himself and his allies in praises and titles whilst verbally degrading those that he targets. Yet, he speaks with the full knowledge that barely anyone trusts a single word he says, allowing him to speak bombastic lies studded with undeniable truths in his audience's faces, relishing in the effect that his outrageous words have on others. Enticing his enemies with bits of precious truth, he seeks to corrupt his targets with poisonous ideas, twisting their goals to suit his own ends. Should opportunities to drive his hapless targets even further off the precipice of morality present themselves, Shadow Milk Cookie does not even hesitate to try push them further, even at the ultimate cost of his grand plans.

As the antagonistic counterpart to Pure Vanilla Cookie and the original owner of his Soul Jam, Shadow Milk Cookie embodies deception and chaos rather than truth and healing. He sees Pure Vanilla Cookie as both an unlawful thief of his power and a naive would-be savior doomed to also fall into despair, and thus torments him with truths and untruths alike. Thus, Pure Vanilla Cookie's attempts to reach out to Shadow Milk Cookie rather than indulge in his objective to inflame their conflict only further aggravates him, causing the Beast to attempt to bury the Ancient even deeper into darkness.

Shadow Milk Cookie has an imposing, otherworldly appearance with cool blue dough and an elaborate design inspired by a fallen celestial being. His long, layered hair is primarily deep blue and white, with sweeping locks framing his face and curling outward around his shoulders. His face is partially concealed by an intricate golden mask covering one side of his face. The mask features sharp, elegant shapes, curling ornaments, and blue crystalline details, giving him a mysterious and almost divine appearance. His visible eye is pale blue, carrying a sharp and confident expression.
