Shad: "What cute round ears. She must not be from Hyrule."

Shad: "Not from Hyrule? Then you must not know of our rich history. I pity you."

Shad: "Oh you're from Kakariko? Tiny little village, but it has historical worth, I'll give it that."

Shad: "Link? I heard he's not from Hyrule proper at all. This may sound horribly elitist, but people who don't know the city simply don't know fear."

Shad: "I suppose I should apologize when I see him next I'd hate for him to resort to fisticuffs or some such."

Shad: "You're interested? Truly? I must say. I didn't expect one from a farming village to have any interest in intellectual pursuits."

Shad: "That said, if the history and legends of Hyrule are your cup of tea, I'm your fellow! At the moment I'm absolutely entranced by the sky beings known as the Oocca"

Shad: "Sky beings... Isn't that simply marvelous, old boy? What I wouldn't give to meet them!"

Shad: "You're from Ordon? Ah, yes. No historical significance, unfortunately. But I'm sure your sort has no interest in that."

Shad: "Well, I'm formidable at book reading, but I lack, shall we say, physical skills."

Shad: "You follow along quite well for a provincial."
