Sgt. Burly

Appearance: Sgt. Burly resembles a very human-like oni, with the fangs, gold horn on his forehead, and loincloth of his appearance, but with more handsome, chiseled features and bronze-to-orange skin. As an oni, he also has a somewhat big nose and pointy ears, but apart from that, he has crescent-shaped eyes with white sclera and black pupils with razor-sharp black liner on each eye, and a thin hair curl spirals above each eye. He is very muscular and has an average height, having a bit of a stocky figure. He wears a pair of yellow fingerless gloves with an army-green exercise outfit consisting of a tightly-fitting tank top, and spots underneath his loincloth. Like all oni-like Yo-kai, he also doesn't wear shoes and walks barefoot. He additionally wears a yellow earpiece as a member of the Yo-kai Watch Blasters.

Personality: He is stubborn and strict, though he takes on a more benign quality and instead uses his strict methods to encourage self-improvement through exercise and dedication. He is a tough coach, however, Sgt. Burly is also very charismatic and optimistic, and many yo-kai around the Yo-kai World follow his exercise routine, Burly is considered a celebrity around there, he may not go easy on folks he trains but he's there to pump people up! He's also very passionate about his line of work. He has a fondness of shouting "Feel the burn!" as his catchphrase, along with saying "Up, down, up, down!", during exercise, but the phrase he uses the most is known as "One, two, three, po!", also used while training. Sgt. Burly is known for being the kind of guy who makes lots of friends/allies along the way of his path, such as when he enters the Blasters House, etc; such as for training them, among other things. He hardly never gives up and wishes the best for his people, always trying to cheer people up in his own, intense way. Personality traits: Stubborn, strict, tough, charismatic, optimistic, passionate, brave, loud, extroverted, sociable, enthusuastic, determined.

Yo-kai Inspiritation: Those inspirited by Sgt. Burly makes them exercise to his routine, giving them his usual rough training sessions until they seem fit enough to him.

Inspirit - Fighting Fit: The Inspirited Yo-kai ally boosts all stats at Burly's Beat Camp. Soultimate move - Victoryyyyyyyy!: Boosts all allies' stats with a stint in his Beat Camp. Skill - Gimme Twenty: Boosts all adjacent Yo-kai's STR (strength).

Relationships + Story: Since Sgt. Burly is quite a celebrity around the Yo-kai World, he has met a good amount of people around there, such as in a famous place known as New Yo-kai City, where the Blasters House can be found. When he first arrived, he called the Blasters team as "Bottom-of-the-Barrel Blasters" for having a very bad reuptation; being the least popular team, and the members are known for being cowards, thus for being unable to save anyone and protect them from the evil, nor defeat the yo-kai bosses such as Gargaros, a red oni. These members of the Blasters team are Jibanyan, a lazy red cat, Sandmeh, a kind yo-kai made of sand, Noway, a stubborn wall-like yo-kai and Hidabat, another yo-kai celebrity, but this bat is much more introverted and shy than Burly. This team used to have a chief/commander, this one being the yo-kai ghost Whisper. They have a secretary/receptionist called Blizzaria, a cold-hearted yet charming woman, but that everyone calls her as Blizzie. Burly pretended he didn't know about her at first, but they both were actually members of a "Legendary Blasters" team some time ago before they left the group after a failed mission to rescue their leader and founder of the Blasters, this elder cat known as Master Nyada, who got kidnapped by an evil boss yo-kai who ended up escaping and letting the feline go, this one called Whisped Cream, the latter looking similar to Whisper, this being the reason why the Legendary Blasters team joined the Bottom-of-the-Barrel Blasters, the other two members of the Legendary Blasters team are Happierre, a heartful and lovey-dovey guy with a French accent and Signiton, a determined yet mysterious guy who knows a lot about electricity and technology. During the mission as a Legendary Blaster, Burly has met one of Nyada's pupils, well, one of the strongest ones, this one called Demuncher, known for being a rather brave and scary yo-kai boss who, as a cannibal, eats yo-kai oni. Before Sgt. Burly got himself in that Blasters house, he met a 'Merican otter yo-kai with a rabbit costume in disguise, called Usapyon, they first met each other via defeating together some kind of bird yo-kai who pretended to be 'Merican too, much to Usapyon's anger, Burly offered Usapyon to join them and he accepted. Once he got himself in the Blasters House, he invited some of his friends in, the two other members of the Legendary Blasters Team (Happierre and Signiton), a very fast runner who hardly never gets tired, who's name is Nekidspeed, and another sergeant who is his personal assistant and the one who Burly is closest with, this one called Sergeant Slug, being the most loyal yo-kai he has ever met and the one he trusts the most despite the slug's cocky and jealous behavior, Burly is aware that Slug is always trying to get his attention. When Sgt. Burly joined this new Blasters Team, he fired the commander Whisper and became the new coach and commander of the Blasters Team to train them properly and make them become much stronger and popular via making them going out to do missions, not wanting their reputation to keep being ruined forever.
