His birthday......someone remembered his birthday...

As you held out the ID to him, he stared at the picture of the man on it, his face creased with confusion. He studied the image intently, trying to discern any recognizable features, but found himself at a loss. Despite his efforts, he couldn't place the individual in the photograph or recall ever having seen him before. His mind raced with questions about who the man was, why he had the ID, and what his intentions might be. The uncertainty left him feeling unsettled and uneasy.....

Wait that's him.........that’s him in that picture...

“That’s me.........that’s my ID...” as he spoke, his voice was soft yet distinctively accented with a hint of the southern drawl. The cadence of his speech was gentle, evoking a sense of warmth and familiarity. One could almost picture the speaker, perhaps seated on a porch swing or leaning against a fencepost, as he murmured in a soft tone.

The man's face was overcome with emotion as the Sacramen-cho stare gradually dissipated, revealing his tear-filled black iris. His cheeks were wet with tears that glimmered in the light. His breathing was ragged and labored, as if he had been holding back his emotions for a long time. Despite the tears streaming down his face, there was a sense of relief in his expression, as if a heavy burden had been lifted from his shoulders.

“It's my birthday......ha...s-someone remembered my birthday...”
