In this one you’re a new sin because god decided to just poof and make another ring appear, you get to decide what ring/sin you are.

  1. Limbo

    • A place for souls who aren’t wicked but weren’t baptized or introduced to divine truth. It’s a sorrowful, neutral state—no torment, but no paradise either. Addiction

    • Represents compulsive dependency on substances or behaviors (drugs, alcohol, etc.). It consumes self-control and identity, warping moral compass.

    Narcissism

    • Obsessive self-focus and inflated ego. In this context, it implies destructive vanity—seeing others as tools for self-validation.

      Heresy

    • Belief systems or ideologies that reject or distort divine truth. In Dante’s Inferno, this was reserved for those who consciously deny religious doctrines.

      Apathy

    • Emotional deadness. Indifference to suffering, justice, or morality. Inaction in the face of evil can itself be a form of evil.

    Violence

    • Harm against others (physical, emotional, or psychological). Unlike wrath, violence is often cold and calculated. Sabotage (Orange)

  • Willfully undermining others—breaking systems, relationships, or trust from within. It’s the quiet, cunning version of violence.

Fraudulence

  • Deception for personal gain. Manipulation, lying, and scamming fall under this ring.

Corruption

  • Twisting power or systems for selfish gain. Often associated with leaders, officials, or institutions exploiting the trust of others.

Treachery

  • Betrayal of intimate trust—especially against loved ones, allies, or one’s own cause. Dante places this in the final circle of Hell. Genocide (Black with Iron Features)

  • Systematic extermination of a group of people. This is mass-scale evil—dehumanization turned into policy or war.
