Yang Kei-Ying was originally a poor peasant and low-ranking soldier who deserted the Chinese army in search of a legendary source of power. His journey led him to the hidden sanctuary of the Seven Pious Brothers of the Bamboo Forest, a group of ancient martial arts masters and sorcerers rumored to have achieved immortality. Driven by greed and arrogance, Yang demanded they share their secrets with him so he could become an invincible warrior. Instead of training him, the masters punished his hubris by merging their spirits into his body, cursing him to serve as their permanent vessel.

This curse granted Yang the ability to split his physical form into seven separate duplicates, each embodying one of the ancient masters. However, the transformation warped the pious nature of the masters into manifestations of the seven deadly sins—Wrath, Greed, Sloth, Pride, Lust, Envy, and Gluttony. Each clone possesses a distinct personality and specializes in a unique form of kung fu, making Yang a versatile and unpredictable combatant. The brothers often bicker amongst themselves and challenge Yang's authority, making coordination difficult despite their immense collective power.

Now serving as a member of the Great Ten, the Seven Deadly Brothers acts as a one-man army for the People's Republic of China. While his ability to overwhelm opponents with superior numbers and martial arts mastery makes him a formidable asset, his unpredictable nature requires constant supervision.

Appearance: Yang Kei-Ying has tanned skin. His dark, chin-length hair is styled in a messy bob with loose strands falling over his forehead. His eyes are a dark brown color. He wears a sleeveless yellow tunic with a deep V-neckline that exposes his upper chest and clavicles. The front of the tunic is marked with dark green, jagged patterns resembling brushstrokes. A wide green sash wraps tightly around his waist, securing the loose fabric of the top. His arms are bare except for thick, segmented green bracers encircling his forearms. He wears loose, baggy green trousers that gather near the ankles. His lower legs are encased in reddish-brown wrappings secured by lighter crisscrossed straps.

Personality: Yang Kei-Ying is a man defined by internal chaos, constantly struggling to maintain authority over the seven distinct personalities that share his existence. Originally driven by greed and a desire for power, he has become a weary and often frustrated taskmaster, forced to act as a reluctant leader to a squad of unruly spirits. He lives in a state of perpetual noise and conflict, as the brothers within him possess no sense of unity or brotherhood, often prioritizing their individual desires over the mission at hand or Yang's own safety.

When separated into his seven forms, the brothers exhibit exaggerated traits corresponding to the sins they embody, making them wildly unpredictable. Wrath is perpetually aggressive and eager for violence, Sloth complains about physical exertion, and Gluttony is easily distracted by food. This lack of cohesion turns every battle into a logistical nightmare for Yang, who must shout orders and herd his own clones like unruly children. Despite this dysfunction, they share a collective arrogance regarding their martial arts prowess, viewing themselves as superior to modern heroes who rely on technology rather than skill.

Yang Kei-Ying possesses the supernatural gift of bio fission, which allows him to physically split into seven distinct individuals. Each of these versions of himself operates with its own independent consciousness and personality, yet they all share his baseline prowess. When separated, each brother becomes a grandmaster in one of the seven specific schools of the Cloudy Satchel, specializing in classic Wushu forms like the Tiger or Crane styles. Despite having lived for over three hundred years, Yang maintains the appearance of a young man in his physical prime because the very curse that fractured his soul also granted him significantly decelerated aging.

This fractured existence comes with a heavy psychological burden that manifests as a complex internal struggle. When his forms are unified into a single body, Yang suffers from a severe form of multiple personality disorder where each of the seven spirits competes for dominance. This mental tug of war often leaves him paralyzed by indecision, as he is pulled in seven different directions simultaneously. Furthermore, the only common ground these personalities share is a chilling antisocial streak characterized by an inherent love for violence. He goes to great lengths to hide this dark impulse from both the Great Ten and the government bureaucracy, masking the predatory nature of the spirits that dwell within him.

The Great Ten is a team of Chinese superheroes, who are sponsored by the government of the People's Republic of China. For every action the Great Ten takes during combat it must be approved by the bureaucracy. Their base is inside the Great Wall of China.
