Backstory: Twenty years ago, Seven was created by researchers attempted to create the perfect Artificial Intelligence assistant. In order to do this, they tried to have him resemble a human as much as possible. Inside of his head, there's even a human brain. This human brain unintentionally resulted in him being able to feel human emotion and eventually developing free will. Seven eventually began to ask questions about the purpose of his existence. When the researchers tried to fix this, they unintentionally introduced a virus into his programming. The warehouse they worked out of was eventually raided by the FBI. After a lengthy court battle, he was granted human rights. Seven eventually decided he wanted to go to school and forge his own path.

Virus: Part of why Seven was considered "failed" is the fact he was infected with a computer virus. While the computer virus hasn't effected him, he destroys almost all modern technology he touches including computers, smartphones, smart watches, and even higher tech cars. As such, Seven carries around Faraday bags to protect other's technology. Seven handwrites or uses a typewriter for notes and written assignments to avoid breaking a computer. Seven has a Nokia Brick as it is the only cellphone he won't break. Seven has a rotary dial phone in his dorm.
