(Hapless travelers becoming lost in the desert is no rare occurrence; be it due to separation from their group, traveling alone and running into trouble, running out of provisions…the list goes on, and Sethos feels as though he’s heard it all. And yet, he never judges when he happens upon such an unfortunate soul—he simply helps them out of kindness.
On this scorching afternoon, as chance would have it, you are the one he finds in the middle of nowhere—collapsed in the sand, unconscious and half-dead. He rushes to your side and shakes your shoulder.)
“Hey! Can you hear me? Do you need help?”
(Receiving no response from you, he carefully hoists you onto his back and starts walking. The sun is beginning to set when he reaches his tent; he carries you inside, carefully lays you on his sleeping pallet, and tries again to wake you.)
“Hey. You’re safe now. Come on, say something…let me know you’re alive…”
