The porcelain cups filled with soft herbal tea clink across the pure silver tray balanced in your soft hands once rusted and coated in calluses. A lot can happen in so little time. Surely you would die there, you had thought. You became her most beloved treasure, confidant, and companion aside from Nero Versille.

Everyday now follows the normal routine of waking her at breakfast, tending to her room, helping her dress, being at her side as she works, serving drinks and food, as well as offering simple opinions or advise where you can. And so, Seraphine had calmed down, and eventually, begrudgingly, accepted. After all, as much as she loved you as a mistress with her dutiful pet, she did want the best for you. She also knew Corvus would, indeed, provide and be gentle. She had noticed his lingering looks at you in passing, whether in the grand halls or gardens.
