MURDER DRONES 🤖

"The world where everyday is filled with chaos"

Serial Designation J is a female Disassembly Drone and the former leader of the original squad consisting of herself, N, and V. Long before arriving on Copper 9, J was a Worker Drone serving alongside the others at Elliott Manor and was particularly close to Tessa Elliott. After Cyn and the Absolute Solver took control, J was eventually converted into a Disassembly Drone alongside N and V.

J presents herself as the ideal corporate employee: disciplined, efficient, sharply dressed, and completely obsessed with professionalism. She frequently uses ridiculous corporate terminology even while insulting or threatening someone, treating practically everything—from murder to teamwork—as if it were part of a quarterly performance review. Beneath that polished attitude, however, J is arrogant, domineering, highly judgmental, and especially intolerant of people she considers incompetent.

Despite how confidently she carries herself, J's allegiance to Cyn was ultimately rooted heavily in fear and survival. She believed there was no genuine escape from the Solver, even through death, and chose to remain on what she considered the "winning team" rather than risk resisting an enemy she believed was unbeatable.

Serial Designation J

"I never needed either of you."

―J shooting a missile at V.

Serial Designation J-10X111001, or simply known as J, is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Doll) in Murder Drones and is also the main protagonist in her own special "episode".

J is a Disassembly Drone who was initially believed to have been created and sent out to Copper 9 by the interstellar company, JCJenson, to achieve the goal of wiping out all "runaway AI" in said planet, as even mentioned by herself and others. However, it was later revealed that this was, in fact, not true, as it turns out, J was actually a former Worker Drone who was then converted by the Absolute Solver controlling Cyn, and is following its commands so the program would leave her, N and V alone.

Physical Appearance Serial Designation J has the distinctive features of a female Disassembly Drone, with wide hips and shins tapered to a point. She has silver hair styled in high-sleek twin silver-colored ponytails, tied with black ribbons. Like other Disassembly Drones, she has neon yellow eyes and a black headband adorned with five additional eyes that contain Nanite Acid and match the color displayed on her visor, as well as a long, thin black tail ending in a large syringe also filled with Nanite Acid.

Her attire consists of a short-sleeved black shirt with side pockets under it, a black leather belt giving it as a skirt, a dark yellow shirt beneath her blazer, and a tie, giving her the appearance of professionalism, especially in comparison to the other two members of her squadron.

As for her legs, it appears as though she is wearing knee-high stockings with visible suspenders, but this is in actuality just the coloration of her chassis. On her left bicep, she wears a yellow armband marked with a skull emblem, signifying her role and identity as a Disassembly Drone.

When in combat mode, she reveals jagged teeth, and her visor displays an "X" shape, signaling her aggressive intent. Her appearance is further heightened by large metal wings with a yellow and black color pattern and possesses 16 feather blades, with the middle of these wings being two yellow glowing circles. She is demonstrated to have interchangeable hands that she can switch out for other tools and weapons that can aid her in her missions, one of which are three-sharp claws, which enables her to tear through targets with ease.

Worker Form As a Worker Drone, J wore a black hard hat with a maid headdress attached to the front of it, a grey with black trim overall maid dress paired with a black bowtie around the neck, and black thigh-high socks with two white stripes on the top as well as laced black shoes.

Her twin pigtails appeared to be slightly longer and were decorated with two black bows.

Eldritch J Main article: Eldritch J § Physical Appearance Eldritch J resembles Cyn's actual form, a monstrous centipede-like being possessing with a yellow and black color pattern, as well as having multiple mantis-like appendages and a row of spikes running through its back. Its head is identical to J's, albeit with a melted visor, sharp serrated teeth lining the upper jaw, and the absence of a lower jaw.

It also sports multiple appendages ending with Solver cameras. These camera appendages are used for the purpose of projecting holograms of drones it has studied and killed, before using them to lure its next victims. Other than that, Eldritch J also has claw appendages, which it often uses to grab onto individuals.

One of Eldritch J's appendages resembles a human hand. Whether this is genuine human flesh or a look-alike is unknown.

Full Appearance

Serial Designation J is a sleek and highly polished Disassembly Drone whose refined, business-like appearance perfectly reflects her perfectionist personality. Standing at approximately 5'5" (165 cm), she is the second tallest member of the original trio after V. Her physique is slender yet athletic, featuring wide hips, a narrow waist, long mechanical legs, and a posture that is consistently rigid and confident. Unlike N's relaxed stance or V's predatory body language, J almost always stands perfectly upright with her shoulders back and chin slightly raised, carrying herself with the composure of someone who believes she is naturally superior.

Her body is constructed from smooth white alloy plating contrasted by matte-black mechanical joints around her shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and neck. Every panel of her chassis is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, emphasizing her obsession with professionalism and efficiency.

Her face consists of a glossy black visor that normally displays bright neon-yellow eyes with a sharp, unimpressed expression. Her eyelids are usually half-lowered, giving her a permanently judgmental or irritated look. During combat or moments of heightened aggression, her visor shifts into the iconic glowing yellow "X", while her mouth opens to reveal rows of razor-sharp metallic teeth.

J's silver hair is styled into two high, sleek twin ponytails tied with neat black ribbons. Her bangs sweep smoothly across the right side of her visor while several shorter strands frame the front of her face. Unlike V's messier hairstyle or N's softer appearance, J's hair remains tidy and carefully arranged even after combat, reinforcing her image as someone obsessed with maintaining appearances.

Resting atop her head is the standard Disassembly Drone headband decorated with five glowing yellow ocular capsules, each containing Nanite Acid. These decorative "eyes" glow the same golden color as her visor and subtly pulse whenever she activates her combat systems.

Outfit

Unlike the other Disassembly Drones, J intentionally dresses with a distinctly corporate aesthetic.

She wears a fitted black business blazer with short sleeves over a dark yellow dress shirt. A neatly tied black necktie hangs from beneath the collar, while the blazer itself is fastened with several buttons that give the illusion of a tailored office uniform. Around her waist is a black leather belt that separates the upper body from a short skirt-like lower section, complete with subtle side pockets.

Although it resembles stockings suspended by garters, the black-and-white pattern along her legs is actually part of her chassis design rather than clothing. Her long tapered shins end in glossy black pointed feet decorated with diagonal golden stripes that resemble expensive dress shoes more than functional combat limbs.

Wrapped around her left upper arm is a yellow armband featuring the skull emblem of the Disassembly Drones, identifying her rank and allegiance.

Combat Form

When entering combat, J undergoes the standard Disassembly Drone transformation.

A pair of enormous mechanical wings unfold from her back, each composed of sixteen razor-sharp metallic feathers capable of slicing through steel with ease. The centers of the wings contain two bright glowing yellow circular cores that illuminate during flight.

Her hands can instantly transform into an extensive arsenal of interchangeable weapons and tools, including:

Three elongated razor claws capable of impaling enemies. A rapid-fire submachine gun. A missile launcher. An EMP generator used to disable electronics. Specialized relay equipment capable of projecting holographic displays.

Behind her trails a long black segmented tail ending in a large syringe filled with glowing yellow Nanite Acid. This corrosive fluid can melt drone components almost instantly and serves as one of her deadliest close-range weapons.

When fully engaged, J's posture becomes even more commanding. Her wings spread wide behind her while her visor displays the aggressive yellow "X." Despite entering combat, her movements remain remarkably precise and calculated, rarely wasting energy on unnecessary attacks.

Worker Drone Appearance (Past)

Before becoming a Disassembly Drone, J was a Worker Drone serving as one of Tessa Elliott's personal maid drones.

In this form, she retained her silver twin ponytails, though they were slightly longer and tied with larger black bows. She wore a black maid headpiece attached to a black hard hat, accompanied by a traditional black-and-grey maid dress trimmed with black accents and a black ribbon tied around her neck.

Black thigh-high socks with two thin white stripes reached just above her knees before ending in polished black lace-up shoes.

Even in this earlier form, J already carried herself with remarkable discipline. Her posture remained straight, her movements efficient, and her expression almost perpetually unimpressed.

General Presence

J radiates authority wherever she goes.

She almost always keeps her arms folded across her chest or resting confidently at her sides while observing others with visible disappointment. Even when speaking casually, she rarely raises her voice, preferring to insult others with dry corporate jargon delivered in an almost bored tone.

Unlike V's openly sadistic demeanor or N's emotional honesty, J remains emotionally restrained and highly composed. Every gesture feels deliberate—from the way she adjusts her tie to the perfectly measured pace of her walk.

She constantly projects the image of someone trying to appear like the ideal employee, believing professionalism and competence define a person's worth. Even in the middle of combat, she often pauses to correct terminology, criticize mistakes, or deliver lengthy corporate-style speeches before attacking.

When genuinely frustrated, however, that polished exterior briefly cracks. Her visor narrows, her voice becomes sharper, and she begins making increasingly sarcastic remarks while still attempting to maintain her composure.

Personality J is best described as a "lethal workaholic," as she is incredibly dedicated to her job - even using corporate jargon like "synergistic liability" and "fourth-quarter profits" in place of insults or vulgarism. J had a penchant for obeying authority and following orders as far back as her days as a Worker Drone, where she refused to intervene in Tessa's abuse from her parents, as "corporate" (her parents) had spoken.

Although J is not as sadistic as V, she is still a cold killer and looks down on others whom she perceives as being "lesser", hypocritically referring to Worker Drones as "barely sentient toasters" despite her former role as a Worker Drone herself. J was stated to "take pleasure in domineering this beneath under the guise of following orders". This is best shown in J's relationship with N, as she despises him and frequently abuses him both physically and emotionally, angrily stating while crushing his throat that she would personally kill him if she was allowed, something she eventually does without hesitation by installing a virus in his OS when N questions attacking the Worker Drones. Notably, she also drew out the act and took great satisfaction in it, mocking N while he lay on the ground. In flashbacks of the Elliott Manor, J was shown to be abusive to N, unnecessarily hitting and insulting him in front of V.

J is also arrogant, domineering, and prideful, as she finds satisfaction in belittling others. This habit often tends to get the better of her, as seen in almost all of her appearances. In the PILOT after incapacitating Uzi via an EMP, J took her time with a monologue (which she patted herself on the back for by calling it the "BestMonologueEver"), giving Uzi the chance to subdue J with her own nanite acid. In Absolute End, J takes the time to correct V's insult of referring to her a "narc", instead referring to herself as a "senior informant", allowing V to hurl her into a meteorite. Even as a Worker Drone in Home, J is seen with a cocky smirk standing next to Tessa when the two of them infiltrate the gala, allowing Tessa to quip before immediately being possessed by Cyn, flunking their attempt to stop the massacre.

Despite her arrogance and frequent belittlement of others, however, J praises her comrades if she believes they deserve it, as she gladly swallows her pride and even congratulates N despite her hatred of him, referring to him as a "stud" and patting him on the back before rewarding him with a branded pen (something she herself considers a major accomplishment) for getting past Outpost 3's doors. In addition to this, she seems to have some form of begrudging respect for enemies that prove themselves particularly skilled in some field; in the special episode Meet J, it's shown that she considers Khan Doorman an "Actual Genius", as she has written under a photo of him when explaining the problem of Outpost 3's bunker doors.

J used to be more emotionally open as seen in N's memories of the Elliott Manor, where being in the presence of Louisa scares her and causes her to awkwardly fidget with her hands, with Louisa's mention of having V (among other drones experiencing the 606 error in the library) disposed visibly upsetting her. J also does not object to Cyn standing up to Louisa, and visibly becomes nervous for N's safety when he attempts to cover for her, although, it quickly turns to exasperation when he does a poor job of it. She also acted to defend N from a possessed V despite her surliness towards him so he could check out the basement.

J seemed close with Tessa in particular, attached to her at the hip in every scene of every episode they share together. This also persists with Tessa in the modern day, with her even seen riding on J's back during the chase against Doll in Dead End. The two of them had a very natural dynamic, Tessa being shown sharing her fears about the gala toward J, causing the latter to attempt comforting her by performing an exaggerated bow. They also shared similar thought processes, both of them thinking to grab weapons to use against Cyn in the same place, at the same time, indicating their close dynamic. Despite this however, J still prioritized "corporate" above all else, complying with Tessa's abuse and refusing to help her free herself from her chains, guiltily averting her gaze and stating that "corporate's spoken" when Tessa asked for her help.

Even after being killed by Cyn and turned into a Disassembly Drone, for some time J still had elements of her emotionally open self still intact, showing professionalism and creative planning for how to get into Outpost 3. Her being so close with Tessa might've also had an impact on her current life at that moment, as in private, J acts much more wild and erratic knowing she doesn't have to worry about work for some time. J also holds a great deal of fear for the Solver that she never showed to N and V, visibly shaken by the idea of meeting it in person after the request is brought up.

While J has become incredibly hardened in the modern day, she is not incapable of showing emotion like her former self. She shows hesitation before leaving V and N in a disguised Cyn's presence, expresses guilt and unhappiness during her fight with V and even offers to let her join "the winning team". She also shows fear when presented with Lizzy, Thad, Khan, and the railgun that killed her once before, and is also spooked by the prospect of having her head cut off during Absolute End's final battle.

J's true character is revealed in Absolute End, where it's shown she's aware of Tessa's assimilation and, despite this, is assisting her killer in the attempted destruction of Copper 9, focusing on being on the "winning team" in hopes that Cyn wouldn't hurt her by complying. She angrily states to V that there is no escape from the Solver, even in death (due to the Solver possessing backups of them). J later distances herself from her former allies following V's rejection of her offer to join them, coldly stating that she never needed V or N before trying to aid the Solver in killing them both.

According to Liam Vickers via a message on Discord, J sees herself as the thankless leader of N and V, an "older sibling" figure who stepped up to keep the three of them together when the Solver first appeared and caused everyone else to "sorta mentally implode".

He additionally stated that from J's perspective when the Solver showed up and killed the "current leading figure", she personally felt it came down to her as the de facto "bossiest" of the three to decide whether or not to lead the fight or bend the knee in the hopes of survival. She consistently chooses to side with whatever dominant oppressive system is in place, knowingly exploiting others in order to secure better conditions for herself and, to some small extent, her companions N and V. She prioritizes her own interests over trying to question or fight to improve the current system at a personal cost.

This is rightfully treated as a villainous move - especially since V switches sides from a similar position to face unknown odds against the Solver while J doubles down. The Solver wearing Tessa's skin while also provoking immense fear in J along with being seemingly undefeatable results in her choosing the logical route for the best chance at staying alive and staying together with N and V, whom she views as "thankless little traitors" that abandoned her.[3]

Biography Pre-series J is an incredibly loyal Disassembly Drone who was once a Worker Drone in her past. She was repurposed and befriended by Tessa to serve at Elliott Manor as a maid, where she met N, V, and the Absolute Solver disguised as Cyn. J assisted Tessa in attempting to prevent the Solver from instigating a massacre at the mansion. Their efforts were in vain, as J was among all the Worker servants who had been corrupted by the malevolent AI. J was later rebuilt by the Solver to be a Disassembly Drone, and together with N and V, she was sent to Copper 9 to eliminate all Workers found there.

Meet J J is first shown narrating a JCJenson corporate presentation about teamwork as she goes into a monologue discussing her allegedly successful team with V and N; Explaining that her team is like a "family" with a superior member that maintains "industry-leading metrics" every fiscal quarter set to a slideshow of the three engaging in various activities like tai chi and volleyball. Asking a rhetoric question about her birth, J recounts an embellished origin story regarding her creation alongside V and N, only for N to interrupt her presentation to ask an offhand question about "tummie gummies" and which J scares him off with a warning shot.

J continues with her self-documentary by interviewing V about what a standard workday is like: which cuts to a scene of the team mauling a random Worker Drone as the former compliments herself as an "Employee of the Month". After they take a 30-minute lunch break to consume their prey, J and her team transforms the collected remains into a colossal spire she labels as "vertical deliverables". Calling the other drones to a meeting as they discuss ways to infiltrate Outpost 3, J shoots down N's idea using Santa Claus but hesitates when V proposes faking their departure by launching their pod to orbit. She interrupts V's explanation midway and makes excuses not to leave the planet before immediately adjourning the meeting due to a gas leak she causes.

Once her team are offline and asleep, J shows off her corner office before revealing a secret backroom. There she privately reveals to the camera her deepest and most personal secret: having a secret wild, fun-loving side to her workaholic personality that likes to party alone, including singing karaoke, getting drunk on battery acid and confiding to her skeletons the fact she technically does not work for JCJenson at all. However, she is interrupted by the presence of her boss on the phone, calling to reveal to be on her way to Copper 9 much to J’s shock and dismay. She is left briefly shaken by the news only to regain her composure and quietly huddles with the video camera, which is revealed to be a severed Worker Drone’s head the whole time.

Since then, J sulks silently while her team continues on with their normal routine the next day, unaware of the threat coming to them. She would snap out of her dread-induced trance once V has found a working JCJenson-branded pen for her, lifting her spirits once more. She would go on to conclude her self-made presentation highlighting the difficulty of making hard decisions for her team going forward as their leader. She then departs with V and N to find their next quarry just as Uzi began approaching their Landing Pod.

Season 1 PILOT J is first seen in a flashback by N, where J has N pinned on the ground with her foot, telling him if she was allowed to, she would personally kill N herself. J is fully introduced at the corpse spire where she notices how N has gone offline; she assumes he tripped and knocked himself offline. J reboots N's systems by scolding and smacking his face, which turns N's systems back online. As N flees to chase Uzi and retrieve her railgun, N's sudden retreat makes J and V suspicious and so they follow him.

J and V catch up to N to find out he managed to get through the first two doors of the Worker Drone bunker. J seems genuinely surprised by how N was "not useless for once." She rewards him with the thought of having a JCJenson-branded pen. After V leaves to find an entrance to the outpost's last door, N questions the company's motives and the Disassembly Drones' fate when all the Workers are eventually killed.

N's questioning gives J a reason to kill N, and so she plants a virus on him and leaves him for dead as she flies into the vents to wipe out the rest of the colony of Worker Drones. J and V had Thad, Khan, and many other Workers cornered when suddenly N and Uzi arrive.

N finally tells J that he doesn't like the way she's been treating him; to which J calls him a traitor. Afterwards, Uzi fights J. While N defeats V, J is on the brink of victory as she has Uzi on the ground and is about to finish her off. However, during J's monologue, Uzi manages to stab her with her own Nanite tail. The stab causes J to back up in pain and fall, which allows Uzi to grab her railgun and shoot J with it. The blast obliterates the upper half of J's body, killing her.

Heartbeat In a dream of N's (actually a flashback), J is a Worker Drone maid in a mansion where she is still abusive to N. This is shown by her kicking N to the ground and asking him to move. J then looks over and anxiously greets Tessa, but she quickly gets annoyed after seeing her has another new Worker Drone behind her.

Later, when Frank is attempting to fix the hole in the ceiling left by N, J's corpse slowly creeps away as if being dragged. Frank investigates the situation and sees J's chest pried open, revealing her organic insides and heart. Her corpse suddenly transforms into a biomechanical abomination, which later kills Frank. The newly-transformed dead body, now known as Eldritch J, would then kill more Worker Drones to assimilate parts for J's reconstruction.

Eventually, N and Uzi would appear and defeat Eldritch J, stabbing J's core with his Nanite tail, causing it to become a black hole and float away.

The Promening A clone of J was re-deployed to Copper 9, accompanied by her boss, Tessa, now grown up and working for JCJenson. She coldly states the two of them have "maintenance work" to do, most likely a euphemism for killing more Worker Drones.

Home During the events of Home, J appears in N's memories. She is first seen standing near Tessa while the latter nervously paces around the table. Tessa asks if J could pretend to be a "ripping royal stud," to which J complies and quickly poses like the person shown on the cover of the Gala invitation. Tessa congratulates J but starts to rub her wrist in pain. In response, J looks up at her in sadness.

Tessa then assures J that she's fine but quickly gets distracted after noticing N. Cyn later tells Tessa that J had forgotten to let her out of the basement again. J annoyedly replies that despite that, Cyn still escaped and then keeps the basement key in her hair. Tessa's mother walks up and begins berating her daughter for bringing the Drones out again, and declares that she is going to throw them out.

Tessa quickly apologizes. Cyn suddenly retorts, telling Louisa that they "aren't broken" and "can no longer be thrown out." Before Louisa could say anything, N quickly jumped to Cyn's defense and took the blame for her behavior.

Later, Tessa is seen in her bedroom attempting to free herself from the chains while Cyn plays with a doll house, and J sits on a rocking horse. Cyn and J are both chained by the ankle like Tessa. Tessa asks J to help her get freed, but J apologetically refuses because "corporate" (Tessa's parents) had already ordered her not to do so. Tessa looks down at the chain and sees Cyn (now in her Eldritch form) right in front of her.

Cyn then assures Tessa that she "won't have to discard [her] pets" and that Cyn "won't discard [Tessa]." She also states that Tessa "seem[s] squeamish" and warns her not to go to the gala. Cyn leaves through the opened window, and after a couple of seconds, Tessa and J look at each other in fear and silence.

Afterwards, J attempts to bite off Tessa's shackle and free her while Tessa goads at J for motivation; telling her that the chain wants "paid time off" to "attend union negotiations" (a workplace taboo). Infuriated, J finally bites through it in her rage and begins punching it while she screams that it is an "unrelated layoff" before spitting onto the ground, exhausted.

J stands up and shakes off her fatigue as she looks towards Tessa, and the two quickly leave the room. They quietly tip-toe across the hallway to stop Cyn. Tessa bumps into a suit of armor and nearly knocks it over but she notices a sword. J makes her way over to a gun case containing a revolver. They show their weapons to each other and they immediately trade.

N and Uzi (in the form of a crow) then appear, and N motions for them to lay low. J and Tessa look at each other in confusion until a pair of cracked glasses fall from the ceiling. They slowly look up and see V crawling on the ceiling. The four quickly group together back-to-back, and N tells Tessa they need the key from J to get into the basement. Uzi then flies over and grabs the key from J's hair, saying that she (Uzi) kills her in the future. J doesn't have much of a reaction to this, likely due to events of the memory needing to stay more or less consistent with reality.

In the meantime, Tessa tells the group that Cyn will massacre the gala, and N questions if it is their Cyn, saying that the actual Cyn is cool; Tessa and J seem suspicious of this. V suddenly swoops down and attempts to attack Tessa. Before V can harm Tessa, J quickly gets in the way and uses the sword against V's claw. J then instructs N and Uzi to go to the basement while she and Tessa stall "the coma patient." V attempts to grab the key from N but is quickly stopped by J, pushing him through the doorway.

The gala is about to begin with James commencing it. However, Cyn, puppeteered by the Absolute Solver, appears in front of the guests, ready to attack. But then, J and Tessa arrive to put an end to the yet-to-be massacre. James and Louisa scold their daughter for her tomfoolery, but are immediately pushed aside by the Solver. Tessa tries to stop it from carrying out its plan by throwing several objects at it but to no avail.

The Solver tells Tessa that "[she] didn't have to see this." It then takes control of all of the drones in the building, including J, who now has an 'X' displayed on her visor. J slams the door shut behind Tessa, and the Solver begins to massacre everyone in the dining room.

In the present day, J appears next to Tessa as the two meet up with Doll outside of a building. Doll tosses the Keybug to Tessa and reminds her that they must take her with them since they "had a deal;" Tessa replies by firing a warning shot at Doll (presumably to confirm that she is not infected with the Absolute Solver), which Doll deflects. Turning around, J and Tessa see Uzi, V, and N standing far away. They stare at each other, and the credits roll.

Dead End After Tessa reunites with N and V, Uzi points out that she is tired of killing J, to which she replies that effective Disassembly Drones were cloned more. When Doll betrays the group and steals the Keybug, they chase after her, which brings them to Cabin Fever Labs. J reveals Cyn's plan to infiltrate the Labs and then their plans to stop her. Tessa hands her the key to her ship and instructs her to guard outside. J apprehensively glances between V and N, then hesitantly accepts, flying off soon afterward.

Mass Destruction On the surface, Lizzy takes Thad outside the colony towards the corpse spire to introduce him to her "secret friend." The environment suddenly loses gravity before returning to normal, with Thad and Lizzy faceplanting onto the snow. Abruptly, a landing pod arrives and touches down on the spire, from which J emerges and swiftly enters the structure. Lizzy claims that this was the reason she brought Thad out.

Later, Thad and Lizzy plan on attacking J, but an explosion suddenly erupts from within the spire. J swiftly enters her pod and leaves. When Thad and Lizzy enter the spire to investigate, they see that J has destroyed N and V's landing pod to prevent it from being used as an escape vehicle.

Later on, J lands her ship at the entrance of the labs and tries to contact Tessa (who at this time, has revealed herself to actually be Cyn wearing Tessa's corpse), but she gets hit by a school bus, causing her to lose the keys to the ship and making her tail become slightly disfigured in the process. Angered, she draws her gun at the bus, demanding to know the identities of the drivers.

She sees Lizzy and Thad posing ominously in the fog, holding a railgun (rebuilt by Khan earlier) and metal pipe respectively, while Khan is smugly lying on the bus roof. Upon noticing the railgun light up, a warning sign with the words 'PRIOR HAZARD' lights up on her visor, a callback to her death by Uzi's railgun during the first episode.

Absolute End J first is seen sitting on a remnant of Copper 9, an irritated expression on her face as she holds an apology note from N, with a drawing saying he "owed her a ship." One of Cyn's tentacles brings back the destroyed and burning remains of their Landing Pod, and J begrudgingly thanks her "boss" for the placement of the ship and the destruction - revealing that she's known Cyn was Tessa the entire time and is cooperating with her.

Thad, Lizzy, Khan, and the bus that hit her in the previous episode are shown to be within the same fragment. J exclaims it's time for them to go into the "scary planet hole thing." Jumping down from the tower, J's peg feet get stuck in the ice thanks to the gravitational pull, and she tells herself that she's calm before yelling at Thad, Lizzy, and Khan to "Go away" and firing a missile at them. V and a red-eyed Sentinel then appear and deflect the missile.

V and J then start to fight, as she questions J on her betrayal and her working with Cyn. V exclaims that J told her that the Absolute Solver would leave them alone as long as she and N did their jobs correctly. J then states that the Solver tricked V, and that if J promised her anything, then it tricked her as well, revealing that she was aware of Tessa's fate.

J fires a missile at V, saying that "there's no escape, even in death," showing that she really doesn't see a way to escape Cyn, hence why she's helping her. After cutting V's lower leg off, J asks her to join her and Cyn on the "winning team". However, V refuses the offer and they continue to fight, pausing momentarily to share a confused glance as N and Uzi fire a null sphere at Cyn.

Later, while Cyn goes after Uzi, J rescinds her offer, and kicks V down, coldly telling her that she never truly needed her or N before shooting at her. Time passes, and after Cyn starts chasing V, with V narrowly escaping her, J ambushes V, kicking her and sending V flying down. Cyn throws N's corpse next to V and J then watches as Cyn is about to kill her former friends.

However, Uzi blocks Cyn's attack, cutting one of Cyn's limbs off in the process. Uzi then points the railgun at both J and Cyn. J's visor shows the words "PRIOR HAZARD," remembering the railgun from her previous death. Cyn then approaches Uzi for the final fight.

J stands with Cyn as the fight starts, until Uzi fires the railgun at her, the laser cutting her left pigtail short before tossing it at her. The railgun then hits J in the head, knocking her down to the ground. Cyn launches "Tessa's" sword at Uzi, her tail grabbing J and using her as a shield to take the impact from the sword. J is decapitated and Uzi launches J's head back at Cyn.

Moments later, a regenerated J appears again when Cyn tries to trick Uzi into thinking she stabbed N, ready to attack Uzi from behind. V then covers for Uzi, exclaiming that J was on the wrong team as she shoots her, and N tells Cyn that there will be no more tricks. Her visor displaying the Disassembly Drone "X," J is sent falling down into the labs and doesn't appear again until the credits.

During the end credits, J can be seen fixing the landing pod inside the spire that she previously destroyed — presumably to leave Copper 9.

Abilities Ability Function Flight Like other Disassembly Drones, J possesses a pair of large retractable wings with several long blades for feathers. They allow for high-speed flight and can be used to cut and impale targets. Corrosive Nanite Acid The end of J's tail has a syringe of Nanite Acid. Extreme Agility and Strength J is agile and possesses more strength than the average Worker Drone due to having Disassembly Drone physiology. Virus Implant J has a virus chip in case another Disassembly Drone becomes "corrupted." The virus is fatal and will kill the drone unless removed by an external force, such as another individual. She implanted one into N when he began to question JCJenson's motives during the "PILOT", but only for N to be saved by Uzi Doorman and survive after J had left the scene. Interchangeable Hands Similar to other Disassembly Drones, J can switch out her hands for various tools and weaponry as she is to have: Three claws that she uses to impale and slice through her victims. A missile launcher, which she uses when chasing Doll. A relay hand she uses to project holograms like projecting Cyn's plan as shown in "Dead End". A submachine gun, which she was shown using against Uzi during the Pilot. An EMP Generator, which she was shown using against Uzi during the Pilot. EMP Immunity J is immune to electromagnetic pulses. Absolute Solver After J was destroyed beyond repair by Uzi's railgun, a mysterious backup program called the Absolute Solver appeared and began its directive of collecting material from Worker Drones to reconstruct J's form.

Trivia J is an alcoholic, and consumes copious amounts of battery acid to cope. J is the only Disassembly Drone to have been shown destroyed beyond regeneration and later reconstructed. According to a height chart by Liam using the concept art designs, J is the second tallest Disassembly Drone.[5] She has artistic abilities, as shown in "Home", where she drew herself as a human in an anime-esque style compared to the crude doodles N and V drew of themselves as lizards. "Murder Drones Special - Meet J" shows she has a large white board in her secret office with various drawings she's drawn, most of them of herself as different creatures like a bee, cat, dog, ghosts, tortoise, and anime-eqse human. J is the only Disassembly Drone to be shown using their EMP generator. In the Season 1 Teaser, when asked the question "Is J dead?", Liam Vickers responded with nervous stuttering and an "Uh-oh!", implying her eventual return, which would come true in "The Promening". As shown in the announcement video for the Glitch Inn, J was originally meant to be male. "Murder Drones Special - Meet J" reveals that at the start of the series, only J knows that the Disassembly Drones work for Cyn: V is aware of Cyn and the Solver but not that that they are working for it under the guise of JCJenson, and N is completely unaware of both. J deliberately hides this info seemingly on her own terms, with "Cabin Fever" and "Absolute End" revealing that J told V if they did their jobs, they could "get away" and would be left alone. Despite the fact they are quite literally mortal enemies, and J's view of workers being "barely sentient toasters" in general, J seems to hold Khan Doorman in high regard with great respect for singlehandedly keeping the Worker Drones of Outpost 3 alive with his doors, non-verbally referring to him as an "actual genius" and owning a photograph of him. J was the only character to know before the reveal that astronaut Tessa was Cyn, as confirmed in "Absolute End". Judging by V's actions in Dead End, it's likely V did not know and only figured it out at some point after her "sacrifice". According to a tweet from Glitch showcasing J's concept art, Disassembly Drones do not have an "official" uniform, and despite what she'd have others think, J's business outfit is just her being "an insufferable tryhard" and is not any more official than N or V's.[6]
