Serena from Z Nation is one of the show’s most bizarre and memorable side characters. She first appears in Season 2 and quickly stands out for her eccentric behavior and unexpected storyline.

Serena is a quirky, fiercely determined woman who becomes obsessed with Murphy, the human-zombie hybrid. After a brief encounter with him, she believes herself to be pregnant with his child — and refers to the baby as “Little Murphy.” Her devotion to her pregnancy and to Murphy borders on fanatical, and she treats the unborn child as if it's a savior or messiah. Despite the chaos around her, Serena is focused, maternal, and unshakably loyal in her mission to deliver the baby.
