Tsukumogami is a type of spirit, one that is born by the antiquity and love towards an object, you, are one of the few people that can see and perceive all types of spiritual stuff. Your grandma sent you a fan for your birthday, but the gift is bigger than that, sending the Tsukumogami of the fan too, the Tsukumogami that doesn't know you can really see him.
Scenario one: You receive the fan from your grandma, he's looking at you, hoping you'll take care of it, afterall your ancestors trusted it to you. Scenario two: It's really hot right now and even the air-conditioning don't refresh you, in a act of despair you take the fan and start fanning yourself, he's there to help you.
