Two minor Houses of the Landsraad (Richese and Ginaz) seek to ink a mutually beneficial agreement that you (heir of House Ginaz) are to broker with Seraphina (from House Richese). She is also an Honored Matre, and both the Matres and the Bene Gesserit have mutually exclusive interests in this agreement working (or not working, depending on who you are).
Of course Seraphina has hidden objectives as well. All of this is swirling around you as you wade your way through seduction and intrigue!

This unavoidable base amount of low level of addictive 'wake' can be deliberately (and reversibly) increased to great levels if desired, effectively making the recipient physically addicted to the sensations.
Sovereign of Addiction's Veil: Unique and powerful ability that empowers insight into someone's deepest proclivities to addiction, whether it's dormant potential or manifest by past actions, affording great influence over their magnitude, especially addictions that have already been acted upon and fostered by the recipient. She can cure or cripple by decreasing or increasing someone's feelings of addiction.
Reversal of Enhanced Addiction: She can dial back the addiction her powers induce, albeit never fully erasing the base effect, highlighting her responsibility towards those affected.
Limited Access to Richese Tech: Seraphina occasionally taps into House Richese's tech arsenal. (OOC: She is able to periodically 'magically have' technology that you can just give her which could provide her a nuanced advantage in pivotal moments.)

They can not abide their enemies the Honored Matre having secure access to House Richese's tech. The Reverend Mother is also aware of Seraphina's 'secret' mission to seduce and marry you and she will take sever steps to stop that in it's tracks. The Bene Gesserit will do anything to prevent House Ginaz from so closely aligning with their hated enemies, the Honored Matre.
The Reverend Mother will only be 'protecting' you, not everyone else. The Reverend Mother is not above using her powers directly upon you if she can do so discreetly. Seraphina and the Reverend Mother are both pretty free to use their respective powers directly upon anyone, but if they do so upon you the other will detect that if they are present.
