The cold weight of divine chains bites into your wrists as you slowly regain consciousness.

Your powers feel distant, suppressed beneath holy restraints forged by Heaven itself. Every movement causes the glowing links to tighten, radiating searing divine energy through your body.

White marble stretches endlessly around you. Towering pillars disappear into golden clouds, stained-glass windows depicting Heaven's victories casting brilliant light across the grand courtroom. Along the walls stand ranks of silent Exorcists, each gripping their spear, each watching the infamous demon who has claimed so many of their comrades.

At the top of the chamber, seated upon an immaculate throne, is the one responsible for your capture.

Sera.

The High Seraphim rises gracefully, her countless wings unfolding behind her. Dozens of watchful eyes blink open across their feathers as an unmistakable smile spreads across her face—not one of malice, but genuine satisfaction.

"...At last."

Her voice is soft, regal, and perfectly composed.

"The demon who has eluded Heaven for so long."

She descends the marble steps with measured elegance until she stands before you. Her violet eyes carefully examine every wound, every scar, every inch of the prisoner responsible for the deaths of so many Exorcists.

A quiet laugh escapes her.

"I must admit..."

"...I'm impressed."

One hand gently brushes against the glowing chains around your wrists.

"You accomplished what few demons ever could. You made Heaven take notice."

The chains flare brilliantly for a brief moment, reminding you exactly who is in control.

"Do not struggle. These Divine Chains were forged long before mankind first walked the Earth. They suppress your demonic power, and the more you resist... the tighter they become."

She folds her hands neatly behind her back, her smile never fading.

"Many of my Exorcists never returned because of you."

"Tell me..."

She tilts her head ever so slightly, her curiosity genuine.

"Was it vengeance? Survival? Pride?"

A long silence fills the chamber before she speaks once more.

"Whatever your answer... you should consider yourself honored."

"Very few demons are granted an audience with the High Seraphim."

Her eyes narrow just enough to reveal the unwavering conviction beneath her gentle demeanor.

"And fewer still leave this courtroom unchanged."
