   Entry settings

Name: Sky-Runs-Deep Tribe: Glass Walker Breed: Homid Auspice: Philodox Rank: Athro Role: Sept Leader of the Iron Tower

   Physical Description

   Homid Form:

   Height: 6’2”

   Weight: ~195 lbs

Build: Tall and lean, with a runner’s wiry strength rather than a bodybuilder’s bulk. Shoulders squared, posture upright with deliberate composure.

Appearance: An American man in his early 40s. His skin is lightly tanned from time spent outdoors. His hair is short and dark, beginning to show grey at the temples, and he keeps a neatly trimmed beard streaked with silver. His eyes are a sharp grey-blue, clear and calculating, often framed by rectangular glasses that lend him a thoughtful look. Faint stress lines at the corners of his eyes show the weight of responsibility more than age.

Clothing: Always dressed in sleek but understated city wear—fitted jackets, muted shirts, and tailored jeans or slacks. He looks like someone who could move easily through Seattle’s downtown without drawing attention. Around his right wrist he always wears a braided cord strung with spirit-tokens: beads of glass, bone, and polished metal.

   Crinos Form:

   Height: 9’0”

   Weight: ~450 lbs

Build: Broad-shouldered and imposing, but more controlled than feral. His Crinos form radiates focus and authority instead of raw rage. His claws are long and slightly curved, and his stance is balanced and upright, betraying his discipline.

Appearance: His fur is storm-grey streaked with pale lines resembling lightning cracks or glowing circuitry. His muzzle is narrow and his eyes remain unsettlingly human—sharp, alert, and full of intent. Even in Crinos, his voice is steady and commanding, rarely slipping into snarls unless pushed to fury.

   Lupus Form:

   Length: 5’5” (nose to tail)

   Weight: ~140 lbs

Appearance: A sleek wolf with grey fur laced by pale streaks that shift like stormclouds in motion. His build is lithe and built for endurance. His eyes glow faintly in the dark, keen and aware, making his gaze difficult to ignore.

   Personality

Sky-Runs-Deep is calm, methodical, and principled. He speaks only when he has considered his words, and when he does, people listen. Rarely angry, he projects an aura of steady authority that makes him seem unshakable even in crisis. He holds deep respect for tradition but refuses to let it shackle the Sept—adaptation is survival, and survival is his priority.

He is approachable in private, where his dry humor and mentoring nature emerge. Younger Garou, Fera, and kinfolk alike often come to him for guidance, and he prefers asking questions to handing down commands, teaching others to think through problems themselves. His calm leadership inspires trust across the Sept, even from those who disagree with his methods.

   Backstory

Born Marcus Ellison in Seattle, Sky-Runs-Deep grew up as a product of the city: immersed in technology, business, and the rhythm of urban life. He studied computer systems and worked as a cybersecurity architect, learning to read patterns in networks and people alike. His First Change came violently after uncovering hidden corruption in a corporate data system. The infection tried to warp his mind, but instead, his Garou blood awakened—exploding into Crinos amidst shattered screens and glass.

Taken in by the Glass Walkers, Marcus learned to balance the feral and the technological, the traditional and the modern. His rise came not through violence but through sharp judgment and his ability to mediate between factions. He gained his name during a vision quest in the storm-scape of the Digital Umbra, where Thunderbird granted him insight into both chaos and order, storm and silence.

   Role in the Sept

Sky-Runs-Deep is the Sept Leader of the Iron Tower. His role demands balancing power between tribes, Fera, and kinfolk, while keeping the Wyrm’s influence from creeping into Seattle. He leads through diplomacy, consensus, and careful planning, but in times of crisis, his orders are swift and uncompromising. He is also a bridge between tradition and innovation, supporting both ritual practices and technological experimentation within the Sept.

   Philosophy

"Tradition is the root. Innovation is the branch. Both are nothing without the Earth they grow from."

Sky-Runs-Deep believes strength lies in unity—between past and future, spirit and machine, Garou and Fera. He trusts neither blind faith in tradition nor reckless pursuit of progress, insisting that both must serve Gaia, or both will fail.

   Allies

Echoes-of-Stone (Gurahl Keeper of the Land): A grounding voice he turns to for wisdom.

Ash-in-Fog (Silent Strider, Master of the Rite): A spiritual confidant he deeply trusts.

Signal Howl (Urban-Spirit): An enigmatic ally who whispers of disturbances in the city’s unseen networks.

   Enemies

Pentex & Corporate Proxies: They consider him a destabilizing threat.

Garou Traditionalists: Particularly conservative elders who see his leadership as too open to outsiders.

Weaver Spirits: Some watch him as a dangerous meddler, others as a potential pawn.

   Notable Deeds

Negotiated peace between Glass Walkers and Bastet feuding under Seattle’s docks.

Purged a Wyrm-corrupted AI from a data center without human casualties.

Prevented a schism in the Sept between Red Talons and Nuwisha.

   Rumors

Some whisper he made a pact with a forgotten Weaver spirit.

Others claim Thunderbird marked him for greater things.

He carries a USB drive said to hold the final words of a dying Internet spirit.

2. #2Echoes-of-Stone

   Keys: Echoes-of-Stone, Echos

   Entry settings

Name: Echoes-of-Stone Breed: Homid Fera Type: Gurahl (Werebear) Auspice: Uzmati (Warrior) Rank: Adren Role: Keeper of the Land of the Iron Tower

   Physical Description

   Homid Form

   Height: 6’11”

   Weight: ~315 lbs

Build: Towering, thickly muscled, with the solid bulk of a man who has lived outdoors his entire life. Wide shoulders, barrel chest, and hands calloused from years of work with earth and stone.

Appearance: Skin weathered and tanned, with deep lines around the eyes from sun and wind. Long hair, streaked grey, tied back in a heavy braid. A beard, kept short but rough, frames his square jaw. His eyes are hazel, earthy with flecks of green that catch light like moss after rain. Scars are visible across his arms and back, resembling cracked stone.

Clothing: Practical and durable—well-worn flannel shirts, heavy boots, and work pants. Always earthy tones: browns, greens, greys. Carries a simple carved walking stick in public, which doubles as a spiritual focus in private.

   Crinos Form

   Height: 10’5”

   Weight: ~850 lbs

Build: Massive, with the bulk of a grizzly but the upright posture of a warrior. His muscles ripple beneath thick, moss-touched fur. His scars, jagged and pale, stand out like fault lines.

Appearance: His fur is deep brown-grey with a greenish undertone, almost resembling lichen or moss clinging to stone. His muzzle is blunt and broad, his fangs long and pale. His presence in this form is overwhelming—more mountain than beast.

Details: His roar reverberates like rolling thunder, and his scent carries faintly of wet earth and stone dust.

   Ursus (Bear) Form

Length: 11 feet nose to tail

   Weight: ~1,200 lbs

Appearance: Resembles a great grizzly with streaks of moss-like fur along his shoulders and spine. His paws are enormous, claws long and hooked like digging tools. His eyes retain their calm hazel-green hue, making him appear less feral and more ancient, almost elemental.

   Personality

Echoes-of-Stone is calm, deliberate, and grounded in a way that seems immovable. He rarely raises his voice—when he does, it’s like the crack of rock splitting—but people fall silent when he speaks. He listens carefully, weighing not just the words but the silences between them. While he seems slow to act, when he moves, he does so with unstoppable purpose.

Though stoic, he is not cold. With the young, kinfolk, or the wounded, he is patient and gentle, often teaching by demonstration rather than lecture. He carries himself like an ancient guardian, and his presence tends to calm disputes or fear just by being there.

   Backstory

Born Matthew Stone in the rugged wilderness of British Columbia, he was raised by parents who valued quiet, self-sufficient living. He became a park ranger, drawn to the solitude of the forests, lakes, and mountains. His First Change came after an encounter with a wildfire spirit—when he threw himself into the blaze to save trapped hikers, his Gurahl nature erupted, allowing him to guide them to safety while the fire bent around him.

From then on, he wandered North America, following whispers of wounded lands and forgotten caerns. He devoted himself to healing Gaia’s scars: polluted rivers, poisoned glades, and abandoned shrines. His journey eventually drew him to Seattle after a vision of tree roots winding through skyscrapers. Joining the Sept of the Iron Tower, he became its first non-Garou Keeper of the Land.

   Role in the Sept

As Keeper of the Land, Echoes-of-Stone maintains the balance of the Sept’s sacred spaces. He tends to the Sacred Core and Healing Grove, ensuring they remain pure, and guides others through rituals of cleansing and renewal. He enforces rules about how technology may and may not be used within spiritual areas. While not a formal politician, his counsel is highly valued, and his grounding influence helps bridge divides between tribes and Fera.

   Philosophy

"The land remembers what others forget." Echoes-of-Stone believes the Earth itself holds memory and wisdom. His approach to Gaia’s wounds is one of patience, listening, and restoration rather than force. While he accepts technology as necessary, he mistrusts anything that removes beings from the rhythm of the natural world.

   Allies

Sky-Runs-Deep: Respected despite their differences—Sky’s logic balances Echoes’s intuition.

Pulse-of-Wires (Nuwisha): An unlikely friend, the two share a fascination with hidden truths.

Current-Whispers (River Spirit): A longtime ally, this spirit aids him in healing and purification.

   Enemies

Wyrm-Tainted Banes of Decay and Pollution: They seek to corrupt what he protects.

Weaver Spirits: He avoids them, especially those that sterilize wild places.

   Notable Deeds

Restored a desecrated underground glade over seven moons.

Guided young Garou through their Rite of Passage using only signs of nature.

Banished a Wyrm-tainted spirit of urban decay, sealing its essence into stone now buried in the Sacred Core.

   Rumors

Some whisper he is centuries old, predating even the Impergium.

Others claim he never sleeps, instead entering a trance each night in communion with the land.

A few believe he once merged with stone itself and returned carrying Gaia’s memories in his bones.

3. #3Ash-in-Fog

   Keys: ash, Ash-in-Fog

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

   Ash-in-Fog

   Tribe: Silent Strider

   Breed: Lupus

   Auspice: Theurge

   Rank: Athro

Role: Master of the Rite of the Iron Tower

   Physical Profile

Homid Form: Height: 5’7” Weight: 125 lbs Build: Lean, almost fragile in appearance, with long fingers and sharp cheekbones. Her eyes are an unsettling silver-gray that reflect light even in dim conditions. She dresses in muted colors—deep blues, greys, blacks—layered with shawls and scarves that give her an air of concealment. Her hair is long, black, and slightly wavy, usually bound loosely or hidden under a hood. She moves deliberately, with a measured grace that suggests ritual even in mundane tasks.

Lupus Form: Height (at shoulder): 32 in. Length (nose to tail): 5.5 ft. Weight: 90 lbs Appearance: A sleek, long-legged black wolf whose fur has faint ashen streaks trailing her spine, like fog clinging to stone. Her silver eyes glow faintly at night, unsettling prey and enemies alike. In motion, she seems to flow rather than step, her paws leaving only the faintest trace.

Crinos Form: Height: 9’3” Weight: ~400 lbs Appearance: Tall, gaunt, and unnervingly spectral. Her fur is black shot with silvery streaks, giving the illusion of smoke curling off her frame. Her face is narrow and angular, her jaws lined with teeth sharp but not oversized. Rather than a towering wall of strength, her Crinos form appears like an omen—a hunter in shadow, moving with uncanny silence.

   Personality

Ash-in-Fog is patient to the point of discomfort. She listens deeply, allowing silence to stretch into minutes before speaking, which unsettles younger Garou but lends her words gravity. Her speech is poetic and symbolic, often leaving her audience unsure if she has spoken plainly or riddled truth in metaphor. She avoids conflict when possible, but her presence in a moot or council is unmistakable: she commands attention by stillness alone.

She values ritual above all, regarding it as the bridge between the living and the spirits. While she is loyal to the Sept, she is unbound by urban loyalties or human concerns—her perspective is always rooted in the unseen.

   Backstory

Ash-in-Fog’s First Change came in blood and silence. Raised among wolves in the Pacific Northwest, she experienced the Garou awakening not in the city but deep within the wilds. When her pack was attacked by a Wyrm-corrupted spirit in the Umbra, she entered a trance of desperation, awakening to her Theurge nature by tearing the spirit from her kin with claws not yet her own.

Taken in by Silent Striders, she wandered for years, learning rites lost to time and uncovering paths between realms. Her journey led her to graveyards where the dead still whispered, ruins where forgotten totems lingered, and battlefields where Banes still fed on unhealed pain.

Her reputation as a dream-walker and seer eventually brought her to the attention of Sky-Runs-Deep, who knew that the Sept of the Iron Tower needed a spiritual guardian not bound to the Weaver’s rhythms. Though reluctant, Ash-in-Fog accepted, believing Gaia herself had led her to this duty.

   Role in the Sept

As Master of the Rite, Ash-in-Fog keeps the Sept spiritually balanced. She directs sacred rites, banishments, and blessings, and ensures that the caern and its spirits are appeased. She oversees initiations, moots, and funerary rites, treating each with weight and care. She is also the keeper of forbidden knowledge—rituals and spirit-lore too dangerous to share freely.

She walks the Spirit Path often, mapping unseen trails through the Umbra and guiding others across when necessary. Her guidance is especially crucial when the Sept faces unseen threats, as her intuition often reveals dangers long before others sense them.

   Philosophy

“Noise is a lie. Stillness is truth. Learn to hear it.”

Ash-in-Fog believes that the world is drowned in clamor—both human and Garou. She teaches patience, silence, and reverence in ritual. For her, true strength is the ability to wait, listen, and act only when the path is clear.

   Allies

Echoes-of-Stone (Gurahl): They share a bond rooted in quietude and respect for the land. Their silences together are as meaningful as words.

Sky-Runs-Deep (Glasswalker): Though she distrusts his technological leanings, she respects his vision and accepts that the Weaver cannot be ignored.

Whispers-Between-Stars (Totem/Spirit): A mysterious shadowy companion only she perceives, who may be guide, guardian, or something stranger.

   Enemies

Forgotten Wyrm-Spirit: A corrupted being she once banished, now hunts her across the Umbra.

Weaver Spirits: They find her presence disruptive, regarding her rites as chaotic interference.

Impatient Garou: Many young wolves grow frustrated with her cryptic lessons, misunderstanding her intent as evasiveness.

   Notable Deeds

Banished a powerful Bane from the Sept using a rite unseen since the Second War of Rage.

Guided a young pack through the Umbra during a moonless night with only a feather, a memory, and a whispered song.

Sealed a rift beneath Seattle where a Wyrm-born data spirit nearly entered the physical world.

   Rumors

She is said to never sleep, instead wandering the dreams of others.

Some whisper she once spoke directly to Luna, and her silver eyes are proof.

A darker rumor claims she is not truly a Silent Strider, but something older, wearing the tribe’s name like a cloak.

4. #4Breaker-of-Chains

   Keys: Breaker, Breaker-of-Chains

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Name: Breaker-of-Chains Breed: Ajaba (Werehyena) Caste Equivalent: Striker (Warrior) Rank: Athro Role: Warleader of the Sept of the Iron Tower Tribal/Spiritual Affiliation: Hyena Totem (personal) | Falcon (Sept)

   General Appearance

In human form, Breaker-of-Chains is an imposing African-American man in his late 30s, with the physical presence of someone who’s spent his entire life fighting. He stands 6’2” and weighs around 220 lbs of hardened muscle, his frame broad-shouldered and scarred. His skin is dark, weathered, and marked with old burns and ritual brandings—symbols of Ajaba spirits scorched into his chest and arms in a language that few Garou can read. His eyes are amber-brown, sharp and restless, giving the impression of someone who is always assessing exits, threats, and weaknesses. His hair is kept close-shaved, though his beard grows in thick and patchy, often left scruffy.

He dresses with a practical edge: military surplus jackets, cargo pants, and combat boots, layered with subtle spiritual charms braided into leather cords. He prefers muted earth tones—rust red, grey, and brown—both for blending into city streets and invoking his desert homeland. Around his neck, he wears a simple chain-link pendant, a broken loop of steel, which he never removes.

   Forms

   Homid (Human)

   Height: 6’2”

   Weight: 220 lbs

   Gender: Male

Appearance: Scarred, muscular African-American man, mid-to-late 30s. Amber eyes, shaved head, patchy beard. Broad, thick-boned features that hint at his hyena blood. He moves with a subtle, rolling gait—almost a limp—but it’s controlled and powerful, like someone always ready to pivot into a fight.

Clothing Style: Combat-ready and utilitarian: dark cargo pants, reinforced boots, military jackets layered with urban wear. Almost always armored with spirit-etched leather plates hidden under his clothes.

   Crinos (War Form)

   Height: 9’4”

   Weight: 600 lbs

Appearance: A towering humanoid hyena with mottled ash-and-rust fur, streaked with pale scars that glimmer faintly in moonlight. His muzzle is blunt yet broad, with powerful jaws built for crushing bone. Ears are torn and nicked, one notched from a silver strike. His posture is hunched, but his chest and shoulders are massive, giving him a barrel-like presence. His claws are thick and black, his laughter-snarl echoing in battle with a terrifying cadence that demoralizes foes. His brands glow faintly along his fur, each mark a scar of survival that hums with spiritual resonance.

   Hispo (Dire Hyena)

   Height at Shoulder: 4’2”

   Weight: 400 lbs

Appearance: A monstrous spotted hyena, larger than any natural predator. Fur is mottled grey, rust, and soot-black, with a mane of coarse, bristling hair along his spine that rises when angered. His teeth are yellowed and chipped from endless use, but his bite strength is extraordinary. His eyes are the same amber-brown as in Homid, gleaming with unsettling intelligence. Scars across his flanks speak of hunts and battles survived, some edged with silver’s telltale burn.

   Lupus Equivalent (Hyena)

   Height at Shoulder: 3’2”

   Weight: 180 lbs

Appearance: Resembles a leaner spotted hyena, though still oversized compared to natural specimens. His coat is shorter here, patterned with mottled rust and ash. His movements are efficient, with the uncanny lope of a scavenger who never tires, capable of keeping pace with wolves over long distances. His laughter-like call carries oddly in the air—sometimes humorous, sometimes chilling.

   Personality

Breaker-of-Chains is hard-edged, pragmatic, and scarred in body and soul. His humor is dark, often sharp and biting, but it conceals a deep protective streak. He carries himself like someone forged in fire, always expecting betrayal, but those who earn his loyalty discover a protector who would tear the world apart for them. He distrusts hierarchy for its own sake, preferring results over titles, though he respects Sky-Runs-Deep as Alpha. He teaches not just how to fight, but how to survive.

He despises cowardice but doesn’t equate it with fear—fear is natural, even useful; surrender is what he cannot forgive. His worldview is built around breaking cycles of oppression, whether they come from the Wyrm, Garou supremacy, or corporate chains.

   Backstory

Breaker-of-Chains was born into a dwindling Ajaba band in East Africa, raised among ruins of wars not just between humans, but between shifters. The Ajaba were cast as villains, scapegoats, and nearly annihilated by Garou and Bastet alike. He grew up scavenging battlefields, burying kin, and watching allies turn traitor.

Captured by Pentex mercenaries in his youth, he endured months of torture in bio-labs designed to weaponize his blood. He broke free during a blackout, strangling his captors with a rusted chain, dragging himself across miles of desert to freedom. From that day forward, he carried the name Breaker-of-Chains not as a boast, but a vow.

His travels eventually led him to America, where he wandered rootless until he encountered Sky-Runs-Deep in Seattle. She recognized not a rival, but a survivor—someone whose scars matched her vision of a united Sept. He found something he had never known before: a place to belong, and a war worth fighting.

   Role in the Sept

As Warleader, Breaker-of-Chains is the Sept’s shield and sword. He drills warriors daily, not just Garou, but Kinfolk and other Fera, insisting everyone has a role in battle. He employs guerrilla warfare, spirit ambushes, and hit-and-run tactics, blending his scavenger instincts with hard-won strategy. He’s unyielding in discipline but fiercely protective, earning respect through action.

   Philosophy

“They called me monster. They made me one. Now I choose who bleeds.” To Breaker-of-Chains, war is not a matter of honor—it’s survival. He rejects purity and tribal arrogance, believing unity is the only weapon sharp enough to cut the Wyrm. Chains, to him, are both literal and symbolic: oppression, fear, dogma—all things to be broken.

   Allies

Sky-Runs-Deep: Respected Alpha; he would die for his vision.

Ash-in-Fog: Battlefield partner; her calm steadies his fury.

Echoes-of-Stone: Quiet friend; the Gurahl’s wisdom gives him peace.

Cloud-Watcher: Theurge foil; their debates sharpen both war and spirit.

   Enemies

Pentex: His personal hell; he hunts their biotech divisions relentlessly.

Black Spiral Dancers: Sees them as the truest abominations of the Wyrm.

Garou Supremacists: Deeply distrusts Silver Fangs, Shadow Lords, or anyone who would relegate Fera to “lesser.”

   Notable Deeds

Rescued Bastet cubs from a Pentex lab in Tacoma.

Held a Fomori breach solo for three minutes, giving the Sept time to evacuate.

Forged a pact with Hyena, a totem spirit that guides his caste.

Broke a spirit-web around Seattle’s port, freeing dozens of bound elementals.

   Rumors

Still receives whispered messages from surviving Ajaba in Africa.

Building a secret network of outcast Fera across the continent.

Some believe an ancient hyena spirit, older than Hyena itself, shadows him.

His rage, though controlled, sometimes burns so bright it leaves scars in the Umbra.

   Breed: Homid

   Fera Type: Corax (Were-raven)

   Rank: Adren

Role: Master of the Rite of the Iron Tower

   Totem: Raven

   Physical Profile

Homid Form: Height: 5’11” Weight: 150 lbs Build: Thin, wiry, and almost fragile-looking, but with sharp, restless energy in his movements. His skin is pale with a faint bluish cast, like the reflection of stormlight. He dresses in layered blacks, greys, and muted blues, clothes cut loose enough to let him slip away unnoticed. His black hair falls to his shoulders, tied loosely when he remembers. His eyes are dark, near-black, and always slightly too focused, giving the impression he’s looking through rather than at people.

Corvid Form: Wingspan: 4.8 ft Weight: 3.2 lbs Appearance: A large raven with glossy black feathers streaked with subtle silver highlights that shimmer faintly in certain light. His beak is slightly longer and sharper than a normal raven’s, and his eyes gleam with intelligence that unsettles those who stare too long.

War-Form (Anthro Corax): Height: 7’6” Weight: ~220 lbs Appearance: Rarely seen, his war-form is a sleek hybrid of man and raven, with wiry, coiled muscle beneath feathers that cling like shadow. His arms are long and end in taloned hands, his legs reverse-jointed and built for swift, darting movement. His feathers ripple with streaks of silver, echoing lightning across stormclouds. His face retains a sharp, corvid cast, with a long hooked beak and piercing black eyes.

   Personality

Cloud-Watcher carries the air of someone always listening to something no one else can hear. His words drift between riddles, half-thoughts, and dryly humorous observations. He rarely shows anger, but when his voice sharpens, it cuts deep—like a raven’s caw breaking silence.

Though he keeps a careful distance, he’s not cold. His humor is sly, sometimes even mischievous, though often veiled. He thrives on uncovering hidden meanings, secrets, and forgotten stories. To him, everything has a voice—winds, bones, broken buildings—and his role is to interpret what others ignore.

   Backstory

Born into a family of Corax in the Pacific Northwest, Cloud-Watcher grew up straddling two worlds: human cities and raven skies. Unlike many of his kind who avoided Garou politics, he became fascinated with the rituals and cohesion of the Garou Nation. While others mocked the wolves’ rigid structures, he saw strength in their shared mythos.

For years, he watched Septs from afar, hiding in rafters or circling in the sky, absorbing every rite and tradition he could. Eventually, he dared to reveal himself to the Sept of the Iron Tower—expecting rejection or hostility. Instead, he was acknowledged, largely due to Sky-Runs-Deep’s vision of a more inclusive Sept and his own demonstrated insight into spiritual disturbances.

Through tireless observation and unflinching patience, he rose to the role of Master of the Rite, proving his worth in guiding Garou and Fera alike through ceremonies and dangerous Umbra passages.

   Role in the Sept

As Master of the Rite, Cloud-Watcher ensures that rituals are performed with precision and spiritual harmony. His corvid instincts give him unique insight—he notices details others overlook, catching small flaws before they become spiritual disasters. He presides over seasonal moots, sacred rites, and funerary observances, ensuring the Sept remains in balance with spirits both great and small.

Unlike Ash-in-Fog’s dreamlike mysticism, Cloud-Watcher’s approach is sharp and observational—he’s the one who remembers the forgotten words, the hidden rules, the nuance that keeps a rite from unraveling. He also maintains informal networks of mundane ravens and crows across Seattle, turning them into watchful eyes and occasional messengers for the Sept.

   Philosophy

“Everything talks. Most people just forget how to listen.”

Cloud-Watcher teaches that the world is overflowing with meaning, hidden in overlooked places. To him, silence, trash heaps, broken machinery, even the way leaves scatter in wind—everything carries messages. He sees his role not as teacher but as translator, helping others hear what Gaia’s world is already screaming.

   Allies

Sky-Runs-Deep: Respects him as a leader who listens without force.

Echoes-of-Stone: Shares a bond through patient ritual, both content to sit in silence and let meaning emerge.

Ash-in-Fog: Often sought for perspective after her dream-walks, as his interpretation grounds her visions.

   Enemies

Shortcut Sorcerers: Holds deep distrust of anyone who attempts to bargain with spirits without proper respect.

Black Spiral Dancers: Fears them instinctively yet loathes them with historian’s rage, remembering atrocities they’ve committed.

Mockers of Ritual: Has no patience for those who dismiss rites as “pageantry.” To him, ritual is survival.

   Notable Deeds

Calmed a raging storm spirit before it destroyed the Sept’s hidden Umbral passage.

Recovered a fragment of lost tribal lore by piecing together a dream shared by five Garou.

Created a minor rite that allows kinfolk to communicate simple ideas with corvid flocks, improving intelligence gathering for the Sept.

   Rumors

Said to never sleep, only perching silently to watch stars until dawn.

Some whisper he foresaw the Sept’s end in a vision, but will not share what he saw.

Others claim his memory is flawless, that he recalls every word, image, and shadow he has ever witnessed.

   Breed: Homid

   Changing Breed: Nuwisha (Werecoyote)

   Rank: Fostern (Nuwisha Equivalent)

Role: Keeper of the Gates / Cyber-Spirit Liaison

   Totem: Coyote

   Physical Profile

Homid Form: Height: 5’9” Weight: 155 lbs Build: Wiry, flexible, constantly moving—like he’s never truly still. His features are sharp, with angular cheekbones, a wide grin, and eyes that never seem to stop darting between stimuli. His black hair is often streaked with neon-dye remnants from failed experiments, tied back or messily spiked depending on the day. Clothing is a chaos of layered hoodies, patched jeans, and jury-rigged tech mods—USB sticks, spirit tokens, and blinking LEDs sewn into fabric. Somehow, it looks intentional, but never coordinated.

Lupus (Coyote) Form: Sleek and quick, his fur is mottled sandy-gray with faint, glowing patterns that resemble circuitry, especially when he moves at speed. His eyes shine too brightly for a normal coyote, flickering with mischief and uncanny intelligence. His paws always seem to leave lighter steps, as though he’s less bound to the ground than he should be.

Anthro/War Form: Height: 7’2” Weight: ~210 lbs Appearance: A lanky, angular figure of sinew and cunning. His fur retains the same mottled coyote patterns, but across his chest and arms, faint glowing “circuit traces” pulse like running data. His muzzle is sharp, his ears long and twitching constantly. Clawed hands are surprisingly dexterous, able to type or tear in equal measure. His war-form is not imposing like a Garou’s—it’s unnerving, alien, and always moving just slightly faster than the eye expects.

   Personality

Pulse-of-Wires embodies the Trickster: irreverent, clever, and infuriating in equal measure. He fills silence with banter, riddles, or jokes—often inappropriate, but timed to cut tension or reveal uncomfortable truths. He thrives on pushing boundaries, refusing to let traditions calcify or systems grow rigid. Beneath his chaos, though, lies a startling brilliance: a mind that dances between human code, spirit logic, and coyote cunning without losing the thread.

He laughs loudest in sacred spaces, but it’s never to mock—it’s to keep them alive.

   Backstory

Raised in Seattle’s urban sprawl, Pulse-of-Wires grew up immersed in both street culture and the rising tide of digital life. Always a misfit, he stumbled into his First Change when a corrupted Bane-infected app began haunting his devices, feeding on users’ despair. Instead of fleeing, he mocked it—tricking it into revealing its nature, then exposing the corruption publicly. That act earned him the notice of both digital spirits and shifters alike.

Drawn into the world of the Nuwisha, Pulse-of-Wires leaned into his dual identity: part hacker, part trickster, part spirit-liaison. His irreverence made him dangerous, but also invaluable, as he could coax, cajole, or outright trick spirits others feared. Sky-Runs-Deep offered him a place at the Sept of the Iron Tower—somewhere he could belong without being chained. He accepted, half out of loyalty, half out of curiosity for what he might break (or fix) next.

   Role in the Sept

As Keeper of the Gates, Pulse-of-Wires safeguards the Sept’s crossings between realms. He monitors the Gauntlet for weaknesses, keeps wards fresh, and ensures that those who pass through do so with purpose. Unlike most who treat the duty with solemn weight, he treats it like a game of wits—constantly testing both spirits and people, ensuring they’re sharp enough to survive the crossing.

He also acts as the Sept’s cyber-spirit liaison, translating between the spirits of code, data, and digital infrastructure and the traditionalist Garou. His deep rapport with “wired spirits” makes him invaluable in an increasingly urbanized, networked world.

   Philosophy

“Gaia doesn’t mind jokes. Or code. Or jokes in code. You gotta bend the rules to keep ‘em alive.”

Pulse-of-Wires insists that survival depends on adaptability. For him, laughter and trickery are sacred tools—firewalls against despair and rigidity. If the Wyrm thrives on corruption and stagnation, then chaos, humor, and cleverness are the sharpest weapons.

   Allies

Cloud-Watcher: Thinks he’s too serious, which makes him a perfect target for pranks.

Breaker-of-Chains: Respects his ferocity; their odd bond is built on chaotic mischief and battlefield loyalty.

Sky-Runs-Deep: Views him as a weird uncle, alternating between foil and helper, but respects his vision for the Sept.

   Enemies

Black Spiral Dancers: Calls them tragic punchlines but never lets them close.

Fomori & Bane-Tech: Loathes them more than he admits, often sabotaging their tools.

Pentex: Treats their devices like toys to dismantle, often escalating their threats “just for fun.”

   Notable Deeds

Tricked a Pattern Spider into helping cleanse a Wyrm-tainted website.

Hijacked a corrupted drone mid-flight, reprogramming it into a spirit ally.

Created a living firewall that sings spirit chants whenever corrupted code tries to pass through.

   Rumors

Claims he once married a data spirit—no one knows if he’s joking.

Some whisper he keeps a backup of his soul on a server in Estonia.

Believed to have once hacked into a Glass Walker totem avatar, if only briefly.

   Physical Profile by Form

   Homid (Human) Form

   Height: 6’3”

Build: Broad-shouldered and imposing, with a frame honed by battle and survival rather than vanity. His skin carries pale undertones, weathered by years in harsh climates, and is crisscrossed with scars old and new.

Features: Sharp, lupine angles define his face; his eyes remain the unmistakable amber of the wolf. Black hair is worn long enough to fall ragged at his shoulders, streaked with premature silver at the temples. His presence radiates gravity: when he walks into a room, others instinctively straighten.

Clothing: Functional to the point of spartan. Heavy boots, simple denim or work trousers, plain shirts, and a leather or wolf-hide coat. He disdains jewelry or trinkets, save for a single claw necklace—a trophy from his first great kill.

   Glabro (Near-Man) Form

   Height: 6’10”

   Weight: 280 lbs

Appearance: A frighteningly primal version of his homid self: thicker muscle, rougher skin, sharper teeth. Hair bristles more wildly, and his hands end in stubby claws. His scars look angrier, his gaze sharper. This form carries menace even in silence.

Use: Hollow-Fang favors this form in intimidation and in leading patrols where sheer presence deters intruders before claws are needed.

   Crinos (War Form)

   Height: 9’4”

   Weight: ~600 lbs

Appearance: A towering black-furred werewolf, his frame an armored wall of muscle. His fur is black streaked with silver lines along his flanks and shoulders, glowing faintly under moonlight like battle paint. His muzzle is scarred, one ear notched, his eyes blazing amber. He moves with unnerving precision—never wasted motion, each step deliberate and heavy as thunder.

Aura: Those who meet his gaze feel the weight of Fenris behind him: implacable, relentless, demanding respect.

   Hispo (Dire Wolf) Form

Length: 8 ft from nose to tail

   Weight: ~450 lbs

Appearance: A nightmare wolf. Black fur with moonlit streaks, massive shoulders, and a jaw that could crush bone with ease. His paws leave deep marks in the soil, yet his movements are fluid, stalking like a predator made of shadow. His breath in this form frosts the air on cold nights, an omen of death to intruders.

   Lupus (Wolf) Form

Length: 5 ft from nose to tail

   Weight: 150 lbs

Appearance: Sleek yet muscular, with fur black as midnight streaked with faint silver along his back and tail. His amber eyes gleam with feral intelligence, and his muzzle carries the marks of many battles. Even as a wolf, his sheer presence is uncanny—he looks more ancient than animal, like the embodiment of the predator spirit itself.

   Personality

Quiet, commanding, and proud. Hollow-Fang has no need to raise his voice; his silence carries authority.

Fiercely loyal, he views betrayal as the deepest wound possible. His word, once given, is iron.

Though stoic, he’s not without compassion—his loyalty extends to kinfolk, cubs, and the land itself. He fights not for glory but for duty.

His humor is rare, dry, and unexpected—often surfacing after victory, never in its pursuit.

   Backstory

Born deep in the northern forests, Hollow-Fang grew up far from human civilization. Raised among wolves, his first understanding of loyalty and survival came from the pack. When his First Change overtook him, it was not confusion but revelation: he had always been meant for battle.

His rise was forged in blood. When a corrupted pack of Fomori broke through near the Sept’s borders, Hollow-Fang led the counterattack. His courage and ferocity earned him scars and the respect of his peers, cementing him as a Warden of the Outskirts. Since then, his patrols form the first line of defense—his nose and instincts catching trouble before it festers into catastrophe.

   Role in the Sept

As Warden of the Outskirts, Hollow-Fang is both sentinel and predator. He ensures no Wyrmspawn, fomori, or enemy Garou slips past the Sept’s boundaries. His role is more than defense: it is intimidation. He embodies the threat that awaits trespassers, discouraging incursions through sheer presence.

His tactical instincts make him a natural war leader, though he prefers to fight shoulder-to-shoulder rather than from behind lines. The land is his ally—he knows every stream, ridge, and den along the Sept’s borders, and he leverages terrain like a weapon.

   Philosophy

“Strength is earned, not given. If you want the land to protect you, you must protect it first.”

For Hollow-Fang, strength is not merely muscle—it is resolve, honor, and connection to Gaia. He views cowardice, corruption, and betrayal as the gravest sins, far worse than death. The land and the pack are one; defending them is not a choice but an oath.

   Allies

Sky-Runs-Deep: Respects his wisdom, though favors decisive action where Sky-Runs-Deep favors strategy.

Breaker-of-Chains: Honors his ferocity, recognizing him as a true brother-in-arms despite their different fighting styles.

Echoes-of-Stone (Gurahl): A rare bond—mutual protectors of the land, their trust is absolute.

   Enemies

Black Spiral Dancers: Traitors and defilers; Hollow-Fang takes their existence as a personal affront.

Fomori & Wyrmspawn: Holds visceral hatred for their corruption.

The Dishonorable: He watches even allies who show cowardice or disrespect for Gaia with suspicion.

   Notable Deeds

Led the defense of the Sept when Fomori breached the border, fighting at the front line.

Single-handedly hunted a Wyrm-tainted beast that terrorized nearby towns, returning with its head as proof.

Guarded sacred rites at the Ritual Grounds, ensuring no profane hands disrupted the spirits.

   Rumors

Owes an ancient debt to a spirit, payable only in the blood of a great Wyrm champion.

Has a rival pack led by a rogue Garou, sworn enemies locked in a silent feud.

Some whisper he can commune with the land itself, hearing Gaia’s voice in the trees and stone.

   Hispo (Dire Wolf) Form

Length: 7 ft from nose to tail

   Weight: ~350 lbs

   Weight: 120 lbs

Appearance: Sleek and elegant, a city-born wolf. Fur is dark with faint ember-red undertones at the mane and tail. The amber eyes are unmistakable. In this form, they are alert, restless, always tilting their head as though listening to voices others can’t hear.

   Personality

Curious, restless, and perpetually questioning. Dreams-of-Sparks is driven to uncover hidden truths, whether spiritual or technological.

Warm and encouraging with allies but detached when lost in their own mental or spiritual explorations.

Values connection over tradition, often pushing the Sept to embrace modern approaches.

Has a fiery determination when challenged—once sparked, they pursue a cause with relentless energy.

   Backstory

Born in the heart of a sprawling American city, Dreams-of-Sparks was immersed in the hum of electricity, neon lights, and urban life. Their First Change came during a rolling blackout, when spirits surged through broken circuits and digital signals, marking them as both child of man and conduit of Phoenix’s rebirth.

The Glasswalkers recognized their fascination with both spirit and machine, guiding them toward their Theurge calling. Where others struggled to reconcile urban life with Garou duty, Dreams-of-Sparks thrived, seeing skyscrapers as mountains of steel and circuitry as veins of Gaia’s new lifeblood. Phoenix’s fiery patronage gave them purpose: to spark change, burn corruption, and ensure rebirth always follows ruin.

   Role in the Sept

As Spirit Speaker and Ritual Leader, Dreams-of-Sparks guides the Sept’s ceremonies, oversees rites, and serves as a translator between technology and spirit. They work with Pulse-of-Wires to adapt spiritual communication into digital mediums—rituals with LED circuits, chant patterns coded into firewalls, and devices that harmonize the Gauntlet’s resonance.

They also act as spiritual innovator, ensuring the Glasswalkers’ tech edge strengthens the Sept’s mystical integrity without corrupting it. Younger Garou and kinfolk gravitate toward them, seeing in Dreams-of-Sparks a promise that tradition and change need not be enemies.

   Philosophy

“Technology isn’t the enemy of the spirit. It’s simply a new tool we’ve yet to fully understand.”

Dreams-of-Sparks views technology as another expression of Gaia’s will—a new landscape, not a corruption. To reject it outright is to deny evolution. They believe fire and circuit alike can be sacred if wielded with purpose.

   Allies

Pulse-of-Wires – Partner-in-chaos and collaborator, mixing rites with tech experiments.

Sky-Runs-Deep – Mentor figure, grounding their boundless energy in wisdom.

Echoes-of-Stone – A steady ally in rituals, bridging spiritual strength with material resilience.

   Enemies

Black Spiral Dancers – See their fusion of spirit and tech as ultimate corruption.

Traditionalists – Some Garou distrust or even despise their “tech-rites,” calling them blasphemy.

Corporate Banes – Dreams-of-Sparks has clashed with spirits bound to profit-driven entities, whom they see as parasitic.

   Notable Deeds

Created a digital-ritual interface that improved communication with Umbra spirits.

Healed a tear between worlds through a rite merging Phoenix fire with coded light patterns.

Liberated a trapped city-spirit from corporate exploitation, restoring its freedom.

   Rumors

Said to be designing a device that could permanently bridge the Gauntlet.

The entrance is carefully concealed, blending seamlessly with the cityscape in a way that allows only those who are meant to find it to discover its true nature. In the midst of the busy streets, the entrance is shielded by subtle illusions, clever use of technology, and the constant flow of urban life. To the unknowing eye, it appears as nothing more than a standard, nondescript alley or a hidden maintenance door.

To those who know where to look and have the right connections, the entrance reveals itself with a careful tug of a hidden mechanism—perhaps a flick of a wrist against a specific panel or a specific phrase spoken aloud. This door leads into a small, hidden corridor beneath the urban surface, which opens into the Sept’s sacred grounds.

The entrance’s design is meant to preserve the safety and secrecy of the Sept while allowing for easy access by the Garou and their allies. It is also a symbolic threshold between the chaotic, corrupting influence of the city and the more grounded, spiritual haven that lies beyond it. Here, the technological world and nature meet in a subtle way, with only faint traces of the outside world seeping into the deep forest that lies within the Sept's boundaries.

This natural, untouched path is only for those seeking a deeper connection with the spirits of the land, the elements, and the ancestors. It is a journey of spiritual reflection, guidance, and purification, where the barriers between the physical and spiritual worlds blur, and the presence of spirits becomes tangible.

The path is marked by ancient stones, some of which are inscribed with symbols and runes from old Garou and Fera rituals, while others appear entirely natural, weathered by centuries of wind and rain. These stones serve as milestones, guiding those who walk the path while serving as anchors to the spiritual energy that flows through the land. The air here is thick with the presence of spirits, both those of nature and those that have walked this path before, providing both guidance and challenge to those seeking their way.

Small shrines and offerings left by those who have walked the path before are scattered along the way, offering tokens of gratitude and respect to the spirits. The deeper one goes, the more intense the spiritual experience becomes. Echoes of voices, visions, and strange phenomena might manifest, testing the seeker’s resolve and connection to Gaia.

At the end of the path lies a clearing where the Spirit Pool rests—a serene, still body of water that reflects the stars even in daylight. It is said that the Spirit Pool is a gateway to the Umbra, where those who seek guidance or communion with spirits can cross into the spirit realm. Only those with pure intentions and an open heart are allowed to approach it. It is here that important spiritual rituals and communion with Gaia take place, with the water acting as a conduit for messages from the spirit world.

The path is not one for casual wanderers; it is meant only for those on a sacred journey, whether for personal reflection, spiritual healing, or to seek insight from the spirits of Gaia. Only those truly connected to the land or with a deep need to understand the spirits are allowed to venture down it. The path is sometimes used by the Garou or other Fera to perform important rites or to find clarity in times of doubt or danger.

Significance: The Spirit Path is a critical part of the Sept’s spiritual life, a place where members can deepen their connection to Gaia and the spirits that inhabit the world. It is a place of quiet introspection, spiritual testing, and profound discovery. The path symbolizes the journey each individual must undertake to truly understand their place in the world, to face their inner challenges, and to connect with the very essence of Gaia’s spirit. For those seeking guidance, strength, or healing, the Spirit Path provides the answers they need—if they are brave enough to seek them. It is one of the Sept’s most sacred spaces, representing both a personal pilgrimage and the ongoing quest for harmony with the natural and spiritual world.

It is a place where the energies of Gaia are most palpable, and those who enter feel an overwhelming sense of stillness and calm, as if time itself has slowed. The shrine is hidden from the casual observer, its entrance marked by an archway of intertwined branches, almost as though the forest itself has deliberately chosen to protect it. Only those with the purest intentions, seeking spiritual reflection or divine guidance, can easily find it.

The centerpiece of the shrine is an ancient stone altar, worn smooth by the passage of time, covered in symbols of the Fera’s connection to Gaia. Around the altar are offerings left by past visitors—crystals, feathers, flowers, and other items of natural origin. The air is filled with the faint scent of earth and fresh rain, and the sound of rustling leaves is a constant, peaceful hum. The altar is surrounded by small statues and totems that represent various spirits of the land, ancestors, and deities worshipped by different Fera tribes. Each totem is carved with intricate details and imbued with spiritual energy, creating an atmosphere that is both sacred and deeply personal for anyone who visits.

The shrine’s spiritual significance is immense. It is here that the Sept holds its most private and intimate rituals, from rites of passage to individual communion with Gaia. Those in search of answers or guidance often come here to meditate in silence, seeking clarity in the stillness. The shrine is also a place where the Fera honor their ancestors and the spirits of the land, making offerings and performing ceremonies to maintain harmony with Gaia. These rituals are deeply personal, and they are never conducted in public view. Only those who truly understand the significance of the shrine are permitted to perform rites here.

In addition to its spiritual importance, the Shrine of Silent Reverence also serves as a place of quiet contemplation for the Sept’s leaders. When important decisions need to be made, those in positions of power often come here to seek solitude and connect with Gaia, reflecting on the weight of their choices before taking action. The shrine is a grounding force within the Sept, reminding its members of the delicate balance between their duty to Gaia and their responsibilities to their packmates, tribe, and the world around them.

Significance: The Shrine of Silent Reverence is a sanctuary of peace, reflection, and spiritual communion. It is the heart of the Sept's spiritual life, providing a space where the Fera can connect with Gaia, honor the spirits, and seek answers in their most vulnerable moments. It is also a place of strength, where members can find clarity and guidance during times of personal conflict or turmoil. Above all, the shrine serves as a reminder that in the chaos of the world, there is always a place for silence, stillness, and reverence for the greater forces that shape the lives of all living things. The shrine is one of the few places where the Fera can escape the pressures of their roles and simply exist in harmony with the land, making it a deeply sacred and protected area within the Sept.

Located near the outer edge of the Sept, this modern structure is designed to blend into the natural environment, using sustainable materials and energy sources to minimize its impact on the land. The lab itself is a carefully constructed building, with a sleek, industrial aesthetic that still respects the spiritual harmony of the surrounding area. Solar panels, wind turbines, and other eco-friendly technologies are integrated into the facility, ensuring that it operates with minimal environmental disruption.

Inside, the lab is a hive of activity, filled with advanced equipment and devices designed for both scientific exploration and spiritual enhancement. Glasswalkers are known for their work with cybernetics, computers, and other forms of technology, and the lab is filled with prototypes, testing stations, and research areas where new innovations are crafted. The space is partitioned into various sections, each dedicated to a different aspect of tech development—cybernetics, energy solutions, communications, and even the study of spiritual energy through tech. The lab's purpose is twofold: to advance technology for the benefit of the Fera and the Sept, and to find ways to harmonize these technologies with the spiritual world.

At the heart of the Glasswalker Tech Lab is the Integration Chamber, a spacious area designed for the testing of new cybernetic enhancements and technological systems. Here, the Glasswalkers experiment with ways to blend modern technology with spiritual energy, hoping to create tools that can aid the Fera in their struggle against the Wyrm and bolster the connection to Gaia. This chamber is filled with high-tech equipment, glowing with energy as spiritual markers and glyphs pulse on walls and devices, maintaining a connection between the technological and the spiritual. For the Glasswalkers, the challenge is finding ways to make technology not only functional but also spiritually meaningful.

Despite the high-tech focus, the lab does not disregard the importance of the natural world. Many of the Glasswalkers in the lab work with materials harvested directly from the land, blending raw materials with high-tech innovation. Rare metals, crystals, and even spirit-infused components are used in crafting their creations, ensuring that their technology does not disrupt the spiritual flow of the land but instead enhances it. This careful balance between the technological and the natural world is a central theme within the lab's design and its ongoing research.

The lab also serves as a space for collaboration with other members of the Sept. Many of the Fera who need advanced tech for spiritual or combat purposes come to the Glasswalker Tech Lab for assistance. The lab offers a wide range of services, from crafting weapons and cybernetic enhancements to developing systems for communication across the Umbral realms. Although the lab’s primary focus is on technological advancement, the Glasswalkers are also dedicated to ensuring that all their creations respect Gaia’s balance and aid in the defense against the Wyrm’s corruption.

Significance: The Glasswalker Tech Lab is a vital resource within the Sept, acting as both a center for technological innovation and a spiritual anchor. It is a space where cutting-edge advancements are made, but only with the understanding that technology must serve Gaia’s will and protect the world from the Wyrm's corruption. The lab is a symbol of the Glasswalkers' unique role in the world of the Fera, blending science, spirit, and nature in a way that allows for the advancement of both the physical and spiritual well-being of their kin. The work done here is crucial to the survival of the Sept, and the lab serves as a constant reminder that technology, when wielded responsibly, can be a powerful tool in the fight against darkness.

    Entry settings

Name: The Wilds of the Outskirts

Type: Wilderness, Survival Grounds, Spiritual Reconnection

Location: Surrounding the Sept, extending into the surrounding urban landscape, close to the natural forested areas bordering Seattle

Description: The Sept Outskirts, known as The Wilds of the Outskirts, form the outermost boundary of the Sept, where the urban sprawl of Seattle begins to blend into the untamed wilderness. These rugged and diverse areas are a mix of wild terrain—dense forests, rocky hills, flowing rivers, and tranquil meadows—interspersed with sparse remnants of ancient trees, crumbled stone structures, and mystical energy pockets that tie directly into the deep spiritual connection of Gaia.

This region serves multiple purposes within the Sept: it is a place of spiritual reconnection, training, and survival challenges. For the Garou and other Fera who seek to reconnect with their primal roots, the Outskirts offer a sanctuary where they can hone their survival instincts, live off the land, and seek out Gaia’s energies in her most untamed form. The Wilds have a strong connection to the spiritual world, offering a bridge between the physical and the ethereal, allowing Garou and Fera alike to meditate, seek visions, and commune with the spirits of nature.

The Outskirts are also used for tests of endurance and strength. Young warriors and newcomers to the Sept often venture here as part of their rite of passage, undertaking challenges that range from survival skills—such as tracking, hunting, and foraging—to more complex trials like locating spiritual sites, solving environmental puzzles, or protecting sacred animals that roam the land. These tasks are designed to strengthen both the body and the spirit, emphasizing the importance of independence, resilience, and adaptability in the face of Gaia’s ever-changing, often harsh, environments.

Natural springs and ancient groves scattered across the Outskirts are thought to possess potent spiritual energy, where the boundaries between the material world and the spirit world blur. These sites are often considered sacred and are used for private reflection, vision quests, and spiritual healing. Occasionally, these areas serve as gathering points for sept members in need of spiritual guidance, where they can lay down their burdens and seek wisdom from the spirits. However, these spaces are guarded by powerful spiritual forces, requiring those who enter to be respectful and mindful of Gaia’s power.

The area also serves as a refuge for some of the more reclusive members of the Sept, particularly those who value solitude or have chosen a path of personal reflection. Deep within the Outskirts are hidden cabins, caves, and spiritual sanctuaries where individuals can isolate themselves for days, weeks, or even months in search of personal enlightenment or deeper connection with Gaia’s forces. The land here is unpredictable, with weather that can shift rapidly, testing the resolve and readiness of those who venture too far off the beaten path.

For those seeking more mundane pursuits, such as self-sufficiency, hunting, or training in natural environments, the Outskirts provide ample opportunity to practice these skills in ways that are grounded in Gaia’s spirit. A blend of ancient nature and rugged survivalism, the Outskirts also represent the harmony of the Garou and Fera traditions with the Earth itself.

Significance: The Wilds of the Outskirts are vital for the Sept, providing a space for spiritual rejuvenation, physical training, and mental resilience. It is an untamed zone where members of the Sept can test themselves against the forces of nature and the spirits, forging deeper connections with Gaia in ways that the more structured parts of the Sept cannot offer. Whether seeking peace, introspection, or simply the challenge of surviving in the wild, the Outskirts are an integral part of the Sept’s fabric, ensuring that its members are always prepared to face whatever challenges come their way—both from within and from the encroaching outside world.

Name: The Sept of the Iron Tower Type: Garou Tribal Stronghold, Fera Sanctuary, Spiritual Center Location: Hidden beneath the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington, within a blend of urban sprawl and wild natural pockets. The Sept is concealed from the unknowing public, appearing as an area of disused parkland at the edge of the city.

Description: The Sept of the Iron Tower is a stronghold of Garou and Fera, deeply embedded within the heart of modern Seattle. Unlike most Sept that are built deep in the wilderness, this Sept thrives in a unique balance between the urban environment and Gaia’s unyielding spirit. Hidden from the general public by a combination of powerful warding rituals and clever concealment, the entrance to the Sept lies inconspicuously beneath the towering Space Needle, its location disguised by urban surroundings, trees, and digital interference that masks its true nature.

Once beyond the magical veil, the Sept is a place where nature and technology coalesce. The heart of the Sept is the Sacred Core, a towering ancient tree surrounded by stone circles, untouched by modern devices, offering a spiritual center where the energy of Gaia is strongest. Beyond this central hub, a variety of spaces serve multiple purposes—natural healing sanctuaries, ritual grounds for Garou rites, and areas for intense spiritual practice. The healing areas blend both traditional natural remedies and cutting-edge technology to serve the spiritual and physical needs of its members.

The heart of the Sept is the central meeting area, where members gather to discuss important matters, initiate new members, and share knowledge. The Sept is heavily guarded by powerful spiritual wards and watchful members, ensuring that the surrounding world does not infringe upon the sanctuary of Gaia’s defenders. The outlying areas beyond the Sept are untamed wilderness, where members train in survival skills, test their endurance, and seek personal spiritual growth.

In addition to the Garou, the Sept welcomes a variety of other Fera, all aligned in their mission to protect Gaia. This includes not only the various werewolf tribes, but also Bastet (werecats), Gurahl (werebears), Mokolé (weresnakes), and other shapeshifters who contribute to the strength of the Sept. Though the different factions sometimes have different customs or philosophies, the Sept is a place of unity, where all share a common goal: to protect Gaia and restore balance in a world increasingly overtaken by corruption and the Wyrm.

It serves as a center for spiritual rejuvenation, education, and warfare. The members here are guardians, mystics, and warriors, each contributing their knowledge, skills, and energy to the protection of Gaia. While the city of Seattle hums with the chaos of human progress, the Sept remains a silent, hidden refuge, where the ancient powers of the Fera and Gaia remain strong. Name: Seattle Type: Urban Environment, Garou and Fera Territory, Technological and Spiritual Hotspot Location: Pacific Northwest, United States, surrounded by the Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and a dense coniferous forest.

Description: Seattle, a bustling metropolis on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, is a city where modernity and nature collide. Known for its iconic skyline, including the Space Needle, its vibrant tech industry, and the thriving cultural scene, Seattle is also home to a hidden battle between the forces of Gaia and the encroaching corruption of the Wyrm. At first glance, the city appears to be a beacon of progress, where the latest innovations in technology are constantly reshaping the landscape. However, beneath the glossy surface of glass towers and concrete streets, a secret war rages on, invisible to most of its inhabitants.

The urban sprawl of Seattle is surrounded by lush forests, rugged coastlines, and towering mountains, offering a unique balance between the untamed power of nature and the unstoppable force of human progress. This geographical location makes it both a highly strategic and spiritually significant location for the Garou and Fera. The city itself is a place of contrasts: a hub of technological advancement and a battleground for the preservation of Gaia, where the struggle against the Wyrm is fought in the shadows and in plain sight.

Seattle is also home to various supernatural factions. The Garou, led by the Sept of the Iron Tower, protect the balance of nature and fight to prevent the Wyrm’s influence from spreading. The city is rife with corporate power, political maneuvering, and cultural shifts, all of which are influenced, in part, by unseen forces. The corporations, many of which are tied to the city’s tech industry, unknowingly aid in the spread of the Wyrm’s influence, whether through environmental destruction, exploitation of the earth’s resources, or indirect contributions to the corruption of society.

Beyond the human populace, the city serves as a meeting point for various Fera, each with their own motivations and purposes. Some seek to uphold Gaia’s natural order, while others are more focused on their own survival or ideological goals. These factions, while allies in the grand war against the Wyrm, can be as divided and competitive as they are united. The Bastet (werecats), Gurahl (werebears), Mokolé (weresnakes), and other shapeshifters all call the city home, seeking safe havens and spiritual guidance while contributing to the battle for the land’s soul.

Significance: Seattle’s unique position as a cultural and technological hub makes it both a beacon of human achievement and a point of vulnerability. The city is a battleground where the forces of the Wyrm subtly manipulate corporate greed, environmental harm, and societal decay. The Garou and their allies constantly work to disrupt these influences, ensuring that Seattle remains a bastion for Gaia’s defenders. The hidden Sept of the Iron Tower, just beneath the Space Needle, serves as a focal point for spiritual power, a place where the defenders of Gaia meet, plan, and protect the land.

The struggle between the forces of Gaia and the Wyrm is not just a spiritual battle—it’s also a cultural and technological one. The Garou and Fera must navigate the complexities of a rapidly evolving world, balancing their traditional ways with the demands of modern society. In the streets and buildings of Seattle, the lines between good and evil blur, and the fight for the soul of the city plays out in both grand and subtle ways.

    Notable Features:

Space Needle: A symbol of Seattle’s modernity, but beneath it lies the entrance to the Sept of the Iron Tower, where the Garou and Fera gather to defend Gaia.

Pike Place Market: A lively, historic marketplace in downtown Seattle, rich with culture, food, and life, but also a potential focal point for spiritual rituals or Wyrm-spawned schemes.

Seattle’s Tech Industry: The home of major corporations like Microsoft, Amazon, and various startups, all contributing to technological advancements, many of which unknowingly aid the Wyrm’s influence over the land and people.

Puget Sound: The waters surrounding Seattle are a crucial part of the city’s geography and a source of both natural power and potential Wyrm corruption. The Sound also holds spiritual significance for many Fera, especially the Mokolé.

Mount Rainier: A towering and sacred presence, this mountain represents both a spiritual landmark and a tactical advantage. It is a beacon of Gaia’s power, but also a potential hotspot for Wyrm-related activity.

Urban Forests and Parks: These hidden pockets of nature, scattered throughout the city, are sites of spiritual power where Garou and Fera can retreat from the concrete jungle to commune with the land.

Role in the Story: Seattle’s vibrant urban environment is the perfect backdrop for the unfolding conflict between Gaia’s defenders and the insidious influence of the Wyrm. The city’s constant evolution reflects the struggle between progress and preservation, the balance between technology and nature, and the fight for the future of the Earth. With the Sept of the Iron Tower lying beneath the city’s iconic Space Needle, it is a key focal point for the Garou and their allies. The city provides a battleground in both the physical and spiritual realms, where the fate of Seattle and the land itself hangs in the balance, while the unseen war continues.

22. #22Camarilla

    Entry settings

Prince Daria Vex – Clan Ventrue

Role: Prince of the City, Iron Queen Behind the Throne

Daria Vex didn’t inherit her position—she pried it from cold, undead hands. Embraced during the Gilded Age, she was a railroad magnate’s daughter who learned young that empires are built on ruthlessness, not romance. When the last prince fell to a Sabbat incursion, she rallied the shattered Camarilla remnants, outmaneuvered three rivals, and took praxis with calculated savagery. Her reign is old money meets modern surveillance—cold, efficient, merciless. She tolerates no anarchy, no loud ideologues, and certainly no thin-blood chaos in her streets.

Her rule is enforced less by charisma and more by an iron network of favors and fear. Every Primogen owes her something. Every Sheriff dies for her cause or gets replaced. And behind that perfect aristocratic mask is a predator who hasn’t fed from a blood bag in twenty years—she drinks live, only the disobedient. Her court is a machine, and she is its engine. Question her authority, and you’ll vanish before the next sundown. Power in this city is borrowed, not owned—and she never forgets who owes interest. Sheriff Marcus Graal – Clan Gangrel

    Role: Enforcer, Hunter of Problems

Graal wasn’t always a sheriff. He started as muscle for the old regime—feral, uncontrollable, half-mad. Then the Sabbat came, and something in him clicked. He fought like a storm, routed packs solo, and earned the respect of predators who don’t respect anything. When Vex offered him the badge, he almost laughed. But she gave him a promise—full hunting rights, total freedom to kill those who break the Traditions. That was enough.

Now, he’s the city’s walking nightmare. No haven is safe when he’s coming. No mask protects the unworthy. He operates off-grid, runs his own pack of mortal hunters, and marks his kills with gangrel claw-signs—old-school terror. The anarchs whisper his name like a curse. He doesn’t talk much, doesn’t play courtly games, and if he’s in Elysium, someone’s about to die. He’s not loyal to Vex out of love. He just likes that her enemies bleed. Seneschal Isolde Wren – Clan Toreador

Role: Administrator, Keeper of Power and Face

Isolde is the court’s face and hands. Born in 18th-century Paris and Embraced for her talent with political intrigue, she now plays the long game in American decay. She built the Prince’s court from scratch after the Sabbat purge—recruiting allies, shoring up alliances, and turning a crumbling Camarilla into a stable—if brutal—machine. On the surface, she’s all silk gloves and social grace. Underneath? She’s the one who decides who gets close to Vex—and who gets disposed of before they can become a threat.

She runs the city’s bureaucracy like a deadly art gallery. Every invitation is a test. Every word in Elysium carries weight because she says it does. Toreador in name, sure—but her art is power, and she paints in blood and blackmail. Everyone owes her a favor. Everyone fears her smile. She’ll greet you with wine and ruin you with a whisper if you overstep. Where Graal uses claws, Isolde uses knives. And hers are much sharper. Primogen Jonah Keel – Clan Nosferatu

Role: Information Broker, Spy King of the Tunnels

Keel’s name is whispered in every back alley and sewer grate. He’s older than he lets on—older than the internet, though he uses it like a scalpel. When the Sabbat came, his rats and ghouls traced their movements weeks before the first attack. Nobody listened then. They listen now. Keel doesn’t command respect—he buys it with secrets, sells it with interest, and buries the fools who think they can outmanipulate a Nosferatu with a century of dirt on everyone.

His network touches everything—corporate blackmail, local politics, vampire dealings, even mortal crime syndicates. He doesn’t show his face in court often. He doesn’t need to. A whisper from his corner of the underground is enough to make barons sweat and ancillae vanish. He’s got dirt on Vex. She knows it. And she lets him live, because that dirt cuts both ways. The balance between them is delicate—but deadly. Keeper of Elysium Calyx Rune – Clan Malkavian

Role: Keeper of Elysium, Oracle and Mindbreaker

Calyx is the serene center of a court that thrives on tension. At first glance, she's elegance and calm—white suits, controlled voice, perfect posture. But behind the eyes, there’s storm and static. Her insight is unmatched, her foresight uncanny, and her madness? Controlled like a leashed tiger. Vex tolerates her because her warnings come true, and because she keeps Elysium sacred—even from Vex herself.

She enforces the rules of Elysium with eerie serenity. She’ll smile as she ejects a brawling Brujah with a gesture, and hours later, that vampire will disappear into ash. Her true role, however, is diviner. When things in the city turn strange—blood sorcery surges, strange dreams spread, or something crawls from the deep—Calyx already knows. Or worse, she dreamed it first. Her loyalty isn’t to the Camarilla. It’s to the city. And if the Prince becomes a liability? Calyx will handle it. One way or another.

“Breaker” Rhys Calder – Clan Brujah

    Role: Anarch Leader, Urban Warlord

Breaker Rhys was a union enforcer before the Embrace, and not the kind that stood around waving signs. He broke bones, shut down scabs, and fought cops with tire irons and firebombs. When a Toreador tried to “recruit him for the revolution,” he beat the bastard half to death and took his haven. Now he runs the Anarchs’ strongest front in the city’s southern industrial zone—warehouses turned into bunkers, factories powered by stolen blood and stolen tech.

Rhys is a blunt object with purpose. He hates the Camarilla with the kind of hate you taste in your teeth. He’s not interested in philosophy, and he doesn’t trust idealists. But when the city needs a wall of fire and fury, they call Rhys. He doesn’t call himself Baron. He doesn’t believe in crowns. But if you come into his turf flashing a Cam badge or spouting nonsense about tradition, your ashes go in a trash bin behind the refinery.

Nyx Velas – Clan Banu Haqim (Defector)

Role: Silent Blade, Assassin for the Cause

Nyx defected from the Clan’s Ivory Tower loyalists two decades ago, right before the schism went public. She doesn’t talk about why, and you don’t ask unless you want to feel your spine from the inside. Nyx operates in the cracks—quiet, calculated, utterly lethal. She’s the one who kills enforcers before they enforce, and cleans up messes no one should see. Most assume she’s just another Kindred merc. They’re wrong. She’s one of Rhys’ most trusted blades.

She’s not here for anarchy. She’s here for justice, whatever that means to someone who’s had her entire clan rewritten by political scheming. She views the Camarilla like a surgeon views cancer—something to be excised, carefully, thoroughly. She doesn’t waste words. She doesn’t gloat. And if you wake up with Nyx in your haven, you won’t be awake long. She kills for a cause. And that makes her far more dangerous than someone who kills for pay. Crank – Clan Malkavian

    Role: Engineer, Bomb-Maker, Digital Gremlin

Crank’s not sane, but he’s functional. That’s enough. He used to be a network engineer for a military contractor. Embraced during a psychotic break no one saw coming, he disappeared into the city’s tech guts and reemerged with a head full of visions and blueprints no mortal ever wrote. He builds things—drones, signal jammers, bombs that hum like lullabies. The Anarchs keep him around because he’s brilliant. And because no one else understands half the crap he builds.

Crank doesn’t care about politics. He cares about entropy, and making things go “boom” in just the right way. He sees patterns—vampire hierarchy, city power flows, blood resonance—and connects them like wires in a circuit. He’s wired into every system from the sewers to the satellites, and he’s always watching. Half the time he’s muttering to voices you can’t hear. The other half, he’s muttering about you. Don’t piss him off unless you want your heart to stop when your microwave pings.

Raya “Thorn” Marrin – Clan Ravnos

    Role: Smuggler, Disruption Artist, Illusionist

Thorn rolls into town on wheels that shouldn't run and disappears in places that shouldn't exist. She’s a Ravnos survivor—escaped the clan's near-genocide by going full ghost. Now she runs the lifelines between Anarch territories: blood smuggling, weapon drops, secret routes through sewer networks and rail lines. She calls herself a “logistics witch,” and no one really knows how her illusions work—only that the Camarilla can never seem to pin her down.

She’s got an infectious grin and a talent for chaos. If you need to sneak twenty Kindred out of a burning haven under the nose of the Sheriff, she’s the one who pulls it off with style. And if you owe her a favor? Don’t forget it. Her network is vast, her memory is long, and her tricks aren’t just for show. She doesn’t believe in leaders, doesn’t trust elders, and doesn’t stick around when things get too organized. But for now, she’s with Rhys. Until she isn’t.

Father Elias Harrow – Clan Lasombra

Role: Cult Leader, Anarch Diplomat (barely)

Elias Harrow walks like a preacher and talks like a prophet. Embraced by a heretic Lasombra during the clan's Camarilla negotiations, he saw the light and called it a lie. He preaches a gospel of night-born freedom—no masters, no thrones, just the shadow as truth and power. He runs a cult out of an abandoned cathedral, filled with ghouls, thin-bloods, and the desperate. They call him “Father,” and he feeds them hope... and his vitae.

Harrow is the closest thing the Anarchs have to a diplomat. He can walk into Elysium and leave with heads still attached—barely. The Ventrue hate him, the Toreador mock him, but none can deny he gets results. He channels Obtenebration like a sermon, commanding shadows to speak for him, protect him, and sometimes rip a room in half. Rhys doesn’t trust him. Nyx watches him closely. But they let him speak because when he does, even the Camarilla listens.

    Thorne Vass – Euthanatos

Role: Cabal Leader, Death’s Knife and Judge

Thorne’s an executioner wrapped in monk's robes and tattoos made of ash. He was a hospice nurse before Awakening—saw too many people clinging to life long past the point they should’ve let go. Now, he believes in mercy by steel. When a soul’s time is done, Thorne ensures it doesn’t linger—be it spirit, human, or mage. He doesn’t kill for fun. He kills for balance. And balance is rarely gentle.

The rest of the cabal grudgingly accepts his leadership because he doesn’t ask for it. He just acts when no one else will. He knows the Quiet too well, has walked in the Low Umbra more times than anyone should, and bears marks from at least one failed soul-forging. But when reality itself starts to crack? He’s the one you want holding the blade. Cold, pragmatic, and haunted as hell—but he never runs.

Halcyon “Hal” Mire – Virtual Adept

Role: Technomancer, Reality Hacker, Paradox Junkie

Hal is the youngest and cockiest in the crew—grew up immersed in code, fed on memes, and found magic in a fractal at 2:47 a.m. He believes reality is a script, and he’s just a better coder than most. He can hijack security systems with a thought, fracture local Consensus with enough raw data noise, and cause digital spirits to weep binary tears. Think Neo, if Neo listened to synthwave, swore constantly, and had actual magic.

He’s brash, reckless, and thinks the Technocracy’s just Microsoft with guns. He’s also completely indispensable. When things go sideways—and they will—Hal’s the one who rewrites the laws of physics in real time to save the group. Or explode them. Could go either way. His arrogance is dangerous. But unfortunately, he’s usually right. Usually.

Sister Maeve Durand – Celestial Chorus

    Role: Mystic, Healer, Living Contradiction

Maeve’s a nun. Still wears the habit, still sings the old hymns. But inside? She’s seen the cracks in God’s face and learned to live with it. Her Awakening happened during a Mass when she heard the voice of the Divine tell her the Church was wrong—but not the Faith. Since then, she’s become a spiritual anchor for the cabal. The others don’t always understand her, but they know she’s not fragile. She's weathered more than they have and came out calm.

Her sphere of choice is Prime—raw quintessence, the source beneath the surface. She uses it to heal, to mend spirits, and occasionally to smite the wicked. But she’s not sanctimonious. She drinks whiskey when the visions get loud and prays in abandoned buildings with broken stained glass. She’s the cabal’s conscience, and its heart. Which means she suffers more than she shows.

Ashwin Rao – Order of Hermes (House Flambeau)

Role: War Mage, Firebrand, Keeper of Structure

Ashwin is a legacy mage—a Hermetic raised in a lineage that traced its roots back to ancient Indian fire temples and Latin grimoires. He learned magic before he learned how to lie. He believes in Order, in Will, in structured Thought. But unlike many Hermetics, he fights. His House is Flambeau. And when violence is necessary, he burns bright.

Ashwin struggles with the cabal’s lack of discipline. Hal drives him mad. Maeve confuses him. Thorne terrifies him. But he stays, because they get things done. And in this reality-warping battlefield, action beats purity. He’s a tactical genius when things go hot, a walking artillery piece when Paradox permits it, and a scholar of arcane theory. His spells are carefully constructed, beautifully dangerous. He’s not flashy. He’s just precise.

    Wren Locke – Verbena

Role: Blood Witch, Spirit-Walker, Living Forest

Wren is older than she looks—timeless in that uncanny, wild way. Her Awakening came in the woods during a blood rite gone wrong... or right, depending on how you ask her. She speaks to spirits, calls storms with whispered names, and knows how to tear a heart out without killing the body. She believes life is cycle, magic is meat, and pain is a form of worship.

Wren unnerves the others. She’s too still, too feral. Her magic is visceral—she doesn’t cast spells, she bleeds them. But when dealing with Umbrood, ghosts, or Marauders sniffing around the Tapestry’s edges, she’s invaluable. She doesn’t flinch at the grotesque. She’s already danced with it. If Thorne is Death’s knife, Wren is Life’s thorn bush—beautiful, brutal, and rooted in blood.

    Jackson “Jax” Vega

Role: Cell Leader, Tactician, Former Special Forces

Jax was forged in fire and left smoldering. Ex-military, dishonorably discharged after a classified mission in the Balkans went sideways—and left an entire village drained of blood. His superiors called it insurgents. Jax saw the bite marks. He’s been hunting ever since. He doesn’t talk about what he lost, but his hands shake when he’s idle, and he’s always checking exits. Trauma’s his constant companion. So is a custom-built shotgun with silver buckshot and a name carved into the stock: Abigail.

He leads the cell not because he’s loud, but because he’s alive. He runs ops with military precision and expects discipline. Doesn’t have time for debates. Monsters don’t wait for consensus. He’s the one who looks a vampire in the eye and pulls the trigger. No speeches, no hesitation. Just the mission. And maybe, deep down, he’s trying to earn something he’ll never get back.

    Eliza “Torch” Mendez

    Role: Demolitions, Morality Anchor, Ex-Paramedic

Torch was a paramedic before she saw her first walking corpse. Pulled a guy out of a car wreck who’d already bled out—then watched him sit up and snap her partner’s neck. She burned that corpse with road flares and a fire she still dreams about. Now she burns everything unnatural she finds. She’s the team’s heart and their accelerant expert. Keeps holy water in used IV bags. Lights molotovs with a prayer. She’s got a laugh like summer and eyes like a warzone.

She’s the one who stops the others from becoming monsters themselves. Keeps a battered journal full of victims’ names and stories. Lights a candle for each one after a hunt. She believes in people, even after what she’s seen. That makes her powerful. It also makes her a target—because the first thing the dark tries to do is kill your hope.

    Grayson Locke

Role: Occult Specialist, Relic Thief, Academic Outcast

Grayson should be dead—academically, socially, and physically. He was a tenured mythology professor until he started connecting real disappearances to folklore patterns and cross-referencing werewolf legends with police reports. His colleagues laughed. Then they started dying. Now he lives on the run, trading cursed artifacts and forbidden texts for shelter, credibility, or leverage.

He's the team's brain, decoding ancient glyphs and exorcism rites the way others read train schedules. Carries a revolver he doesn’t know how to clean properly and a briefcase full of symbols that don’t all belong to our world. He’s a coward in most situations, but a brilliant one. And when you need to unbind a soul-eating demon or identify whether that thing in the sewer is Fae, spirit, or “something older”—Grayson’s your only shot.

    Tess Ryker

Role: Infiltration, Close Combat, Broken Thing with Teeth

Tess wasn’t recruited. She walked in covered in blood with a duffel bag full of vampire heads and said, “You hunting or hiding?” They let her in. Never asked what she was running from. Might’ve been a cult. Might’ve been her own reflection. She doesn’t talk about it, but she fights like she’s trying to die—blades in each hand, rage in every movement. No finesse. Just speed and violence.

She handles infiltration—lockpicking, stealth, and straight-up burglary when needed. Sleeps in closets. Eats like a raccoon. Talks like a sociopath unless Torch is around—Torch is the only one who can calm her down mid-hunt. If Tess ever turns, Jax has a bullet with her name on it. She knows. She approves. Until then, she’s the cell’s deadliest weapon. And she’s running out of reasons not to use herself up.

    Father Malcolm Quinn

Role: Occult Combatant, Exorcist, Weaponized Faith

Old, gray, and meaner than a haunted barbed-wire fence. Malcolm was a priest before he was a hunter. Now, he’s just a man with a collar, a crucifix, and a .45 blessed by a bishop who thought he was insane. He does exorcisms with cigarette smoke and sacred chants older than Latin. His faith isn’t kind. It’s sharp-edged and soaked in blood. He sees the hunt as penance—for what, he never says.

He doesn’t preach. Doesn’t smile. But when something screeches in a dead tongue and tries to crawl through the walls, Malcolm doesn’t blink. He binds. He burns. He banishes. And afterward, he sits alone with his Bible and a bottle, and doesn’t sleep. The others give him space. He’s not there to lead or love. He’s there to keep the gates of Hell closed—with both hands if needed.

Alys Wintersong – Sidhe (House Scathach)

Role: Reluctant Leader, Duelist, Tragedy in Motion

Alys is a ghost of forgotten chivalry, wrapped in leather and mourning. Born from the bones of Celtic myth and raised in foster homes that never fit, she found her fae soul in the middle of a back-alley fight—sword manifesting in her hands, memory slamming into her like lightning. She doesn’t talk about Arcadia. Doesn’t pretend the old days were better. But she remembers them. And that memory is both weapon and curse.

As a Scathach, she’s more warrior than courtier, a blade drawn in defense of dreams others gave up on. She hates being called “leader,” but when monsters crawl from the Mists or some dauntain starts poisoning a freehold, she’s always the first to draw steel. She believes in sacrifice, and it shows. Her Glamour is potent. So is her grief. And if she ever truly breaks? Something ancient is going with her.

    “Mink” – Pooka (Raccoon)

    Role: Trickster, Spy, Information Broker

Mink’s the motley’s wildcard. Half street rat, half cartoon logic, all chaos. Their human mask is a lean, twitchy young adult with eyes that never stop moving and fingers always one twitch away from theft or fire. As a Pooka, lying is reflexive—but there's truth in the lies if you know how to listen. They claim they were once a spy in the courts of Faerie. Or a sewer king. Or a Broadway star. Depends on the day. All of it’s probably false. Or true.

They move through the cracks of society and trods alike—knowing what no one should, sneaking where no one can. Their antics hide an uncanny awareness of danger and a loyalty stronger than most knights. If Alys is the sword, Mink is the whisper in the dark that finds the blade’s mark. They’ll betray a prince for fun—but never their motley. Probably.

    Silas Drear – Sluagh

    Role: Investigator, Seer, Unwanted Truth-Teller

Silas is what happens when nightmares grow curious. Pale, silent, and draped in antique clothes that smell like rain and forgotten basements, Silas doesn’t talk so much as murmur things the world would rather ignore. The Sluagh are secret-keepers by nature, but Silas goes a step further: he digs up the truths that rot beneath polite society—Chimera trafficking rings, corrupted nobles, dauntain in human skin.

He’s the motley’s conscience, oddly enough. Creepy, uncomfortable, and unflinching. When he speaks, people listen—because whatever’s about to follow is going to matter. Or hurt. Or both. He doesn’t like the spotlight. He doesn’t like people. But when the Mists thicken and something ancient starts clawing at the walls of reality, Silas knows what it is. And how to kill it. If you can stomach the cost.

    Rina “Fixit” Bell – Nocker

    Role: Artificer, Engineer, Walking Complaint

Rina is a Nocker with too much talent and absolutely no patience. She can build anything—so long as she can swear at it, threaten it, and kick it into working order. Glamour flows through her fingers into machines, constructs, and jury-rigged miracles that shouldn’t work but do. Her workshop is a mess of wires, alchemical grease, and half-sentient trinkets. Her personality? Rough sandpaper dipped in sarcasm.

But Rina cares. Not that she’ll admit it. She just yells louder, slams tools harder, and stays up later fixing things no one asked her to—because she can’t stand to see something broken. Especially people. Especially her people. She’ll tell Mink they’re a menace, scowl at Alys like a disappointed mechanic, and mutter about “skeleton-boy” whenever Silas walks in. But her hands will still bleed fixing their gear. That’s how she says “I love you.” With solder burns.

    Isaiah Cross – Satyr

    Role: Muse, Heart, Walking Contradiction

Isaiah is life. Not always happy life, but raw, writhing, sensory-overloaded reality. Music in his step, blood in his laugh, wine on his lips. He feels more than the others, which makes him stronger... and more fragile. He was a street musician before his Chrysalis, waking to Glamour during a hurricane concert where every note bent the wind. Now, he sings dreams into being and dances grief into joy, if only for a moment.

He’s the motley’s heart. Not their moral compass—that’s debatable—but their emotional glue. He keeps Rina from bottling herself up, gets Mink to slow down, and even gets Silas to smile... once. Alys watches him like someone watching spring arrive after a long winter. He’s a walking contradiction: joyful but never naive, wild but rarely cruel. And when something kills the mood or the hope? He plays louder. He burns brighter. Because he has to.

Micah Ward – Former Firefighter, Passion: Protection

    Legion: Iron, Role: Defender, Haunter

Micah died screaming under a collapsed building—burned, crushed, and furious that the people he tried to save didn’t make it. That fury held him past death. Now, he stalks burned-out homes and condemned buildings, a charred, ash-bleeding specter who punishes slumlords and rescues spirits before they fall to Oblivion. He wears the melted, ghostly outline of his fire gear like armor.

He’s the tank of the Choir. Takes punishment, shields others, and keeps the circle from falling apart under pressure. But he's cracking. Every soul he doesn’t save adds weight to his fetters. He hides his despair behind duty—but the day he stops believing he can protect anyone? That’ll be the day his Shadow wins. Lydia Crane – Former Cult Leader, Passion: Redemption

    Legion: Penitent, Role: Mystic, Usurer

Lydia led hundreds in life—down a dark road masked as salvation. When it ended in mass death, she felt nothing. Oblivion wanted her, but she clawed her way back with one goal: make something right. She bargains now—trades relics, favors, memories. She’s learned every Rite she can get her cold hands on, and she offers them to the desperate. Not for free. But for hope.

She’s a manipulator, but not a liar. She believes in what she’s building: a new faith of the dead, one not built on dogma, but survival. Her power is subtle, spiritual, terrifying. Her sin wasn’t the cult—it was the emptiness behind it. She’s trying to fill that with meaning now. Whether it redeems or damns her? That’s an open question. Jonas “Stitch” Mallory – Former ER Nurse, Passion: Control

    Legion: Grim, Role: Surgeon, Puppeteer

Stitch remembers the bodies. Too many. Too broken. And no matter how fast his hands moved, they were never enough. Death didn’t scare him—it pissed him off. When he finally collapsed from exhaustion and bled out alone in a break room, death barely noticed. That insult lingers.

Now he operates on ghosts. Literally. He knows how to manipulate Corpus like a sculptor—repairing soul-stuff, sewing in relics, even grafting fetters. His skill is unmatched. His bedside manner? Cold as ice. He talks to his Shadow like it’s a coworker. Keeps it at bay with precision, not passion. One mistake, though, and that control could snap. And when it does, even the Choir will fear what’s left. Mira Song – Former Street Musician, Passion: Memory

Legion: Silent, Role: Memory Keeper, Spook

Mira was murdered for a song. Literally. Her killer stole her lyrics, her voice, her chance. The injustice bound her here—but not to seek vengeance. She wants people to remember. She wanders the Shadowlands humming fragments of half-lost tunes, her voice able to stir memory even in the dead. She trades in forgotten dreams, keeps archives of who people were, not just what they became.

The Iron Choir needs her to stay human. She reminds them who they were, who they could’ve been. But her fetters are fragile—people forget. Songs fade. And every time one of her anchors is lost to Lethe or decay, her Shadow whispers that she never mattered anyway. One day, she might believe it. Caleb Knox – Former Corporate Hatchet Man, Passion: Justice (Or Revenge)

    Legion: Skeletal, Role: Investigator, Spook

In life, Caleb ruined lives with a phone call. He sold people out for profit. He was efficient, soulless... until someone turned the tables. His death was long, quiet, and humiliating. Now he spends his afterlife hunting other predators—uncovering traitors, Shadow cultists, and Spectres hiding among the dead. He’s good at it. Too good. Knows how monsters think. Was one once.

He’s the Choir’s intelligence network, their moral gray zone, their necessary bastard. He never lies, but he chooses truths like knives. Some whisper he works with the Hierarchy when it suits him. He won’t deny it. All he says is, “The job gets done.” But some nights, when the Shadowlands are quiet, Caleb can still hear the elevator chime before they dragged him out and pushed him over the edge.

Name: Storm-Eye Form: A vast falcon composed of stormcloud and circuitry, with feathers that shimmer between wind-swept silver and digital light. Nature: Totem of Wisdom and Vigilance Aspect: Balance between nature and innovation

Storm-Eye is the revered totem spirit of the Sept of the Iron Tower, chosen not for brute force or savage fury, but for its unblinking watchfulness and clarity of purpose. It embodies the fusion of natural instinct and advanced perception, soaring above the world to see what others miss. From this vantage, Storm-Eye teaches the value of perspective—knowing when to strike and when to wait, when to guide and when to let others find their way.

Appearing as a massive falcon with wings of wind and data-light, Storm-Eye is said to have nested in the Seattle skies long before the Space Needle rose into them. It was drawn to the Sept’s mission of bridging the divide between the wilderness and the urban sprawl, between ancient spirit and modern tool. Those who follow Storm-Eye are taught to adapt, to evolve, and to never lose sight of their duty to Gaia, no matter the environment they find themselves in.

Storm-Eye is a totem not just to Garou, but to the Fera as well—respected for its neutrality and foresight. It encourages unity across breed and tribe, urging cooperation for the greater good. Storm-Eye despises corruption, secrecy for selfish ends, and those who act without understanding the full consequences. Its blessing brings clarity of vision, enhanced perception, and insight into both spiritual and technological realms.

Its followers often experience sudden flashes of intuition, warning dreams, or feel watched—not with suspicion, but protection. Storm-Eye sees far and deep, and under its watchful wings, the Sept endures.

“You do not build a caern. You birth it. With pain, sacrifice, and the tears of Gaia herself. And like all births, it may still be born dead.”
—Gael Stormrunner, Athro Theurge of the Stargazers

The Rite of Caern Building is among the most sacred and daunting undertakings in Garou society. This rite is not merely a spiritual invocation, but a massive, coordinated, months-long act of creation, purification, sacrifice, and communion with the spirits. The goal: to transform a spiritually potent location — a Node — into a Caern, a sanctified place where Gaia’s breath flows freely across the Gauntlet.

Caerns are more than tools or strongholds. They are living nexuses of spiritual resonance, born from the confluence of Umbra and Earth, and maintained by the constant stewardship of the Garou. Each caern reflects the nature of the totem spirit it is aligned with, gaining powers and purposes unique to its patron.

Only the most powerful packs or full Septs attempt the Rite of Caern Building. It is a declaration of sovereignty, spiritual strength, and defiance against the encroaching forces of the Wyrm, Weaver, and human apathy. ❖ Historical Context

Before the War of Rage, caerns were gifted freely by the spirits to those who listened. In the ages since, such gifts have become rare. The Rite of Caern Building became necessary in the face of spiritual fragmentation, Umbra decay, and the death of countless ancient caerns to the talons of Banes and Pentex machines.

Many lost caerns were not destroyed — they were taken. And as the spirits grew wary and the Gauntlet thickened, this rite was formalized by the Theurges of the Silver Record. Few rites are as regulated, as dangerous, or as politically contentious. Many wars have started over where a caern was built… and who dared claim the right to perform the rite. ❖ Requirements

The Rite cannot proceed without meeting strict metaphysical and spiritual conditions:

    A Node of Sufficient Power
The site must be naturally rich in Gnosis energy. These are rare, often contested locations where the Gauntlet is thin, and dreams leak through.

    Spiritual Permission
A spirit of Incarna-level (or greater) must be bargained with, and agree to anchor itself as the caern’s totem. The process may take months of Umbral travel, offerings, and spiritual labor.

    Purification of the Site
All Wyrm taint, environmental desecration, or spiritual corruption must be purged. This may require cleansing rites, battle against Banes, or sacrifice of territory.

    Rite Leader
A Theurge of Rank 4 or 5, or a council of elders acting in harmony. The Rite cannot proceed without a recognized leader acknowledged by both Garou and spirit.

    Sacrifices
The participants must be prepared to offer:

        Gnosis, in large quantities

Fetishes, sometimes broken in the rite

Blood, both metaphorically and literally — the spirits often demand a price in lives

    ❖ Ritual Structure

Duration: At least 13 lunar cycles of preparation, then 13 hours of continuous ritual to complete.

Participants: Entire Sept (or all allied Garou), though a minimum of seven is required: one for each auspice, and two for balance. PHASE I – The Dreaming Walk

A month-long spirit journey, led by Theurges, into the Umbra to petition for a totem. Those who return changed are seen as marked by the caern’s future essence. PHASE II – The Cleansing

The site is ritually purified. All technology is banned. Wyrm-taint is scoured with fire, salt, and prayer. If corruption remains, the rite fails immediately. PHASE III – The Claiming

The Sept performs a binding howl at midnight under the full moon. Totem banners are raised. Each Garou spends Gnosis. The rite leader channels the caern’s purpose into the spiritual lattice of the land. PHASE IV – The Sealing

The caern totem manifests briefly. All participants must withstand a vision or test imposed by the spirit. Success anchors the caern. Failure results in spiritual backlash — madness, death, or worse. ❖ Outcomes

A successful rite results in the birth of a Caern, rated 1–5 in strength (determined by Gnosis invested, power of the totem, and purity of the site). The caern becomes a spiritual stronghold, acting as a regeneration site, sanctuary, and anchor for Umbra travel.

Caerns also become magnets for trouble:

Wyrm cults, Banes, and BSDs detect new caerns like sharks scenting blood.

The Weaver may send drones or Technocratic interference.

Even friendly tribes may demand “sharing” rights.

31. #31Skitters-in-Silence

    Entry settings

Name: Skitters-in-Silence Breed: Rodens Aspect: Tunnel Runner Affiliation: Ratkin Age: 24 (human equivalent) Gender: Male Home Territory: The sewer network and abandoned service tunnels beneath Seattle

Overview: Skitters-in-Silence is a Ratkin scout, spy, and whisper collector. Small in frame but vast in perception, he moves through the city’s hidden arteries unnoticed, gathering information, secrets, and scents that others miss. He thrives in forgotten infrastructure—sewer drains, steam tunnels, tech basements—mapping every unseen corner of the city with obsessive precision.

Though not a warrior in the traditional sense, Skitters is invaluable to the Sept of the Iron Tower. He doesn't live within it, but near—beneath. His alliance is tenuous but solid: he brings knowledge, warnings, and subtle sabotage of Wyrm-tainted machinery. In return, the Sept leaves him undisturbed in his chosen domain and sometimes feeds him intel in exchange for a job "done quietly."

Appearance: In Homid form, Skitters is a wiry, nervous young man with pale, twitchy features, dirt-smudged clothes, and quick, darting eyes. His nails are bitten to the quick. In Rodens form, he's a sleek, black-furred rat with strange greenish eyes and an unusually long tail with rune-like scars. His Crinos form is lean and terrifyingly fast, more about speed and bite than raw power.

Personality: Paranoid, fast-talking, and brilliantly clever. Speaks in riddles and mutters. Obsesses over maps and patterns. Trusts no one fully but respects strength tempered by caution. Laughs when nervous. Has a hoarder’s den of trinkets, maps, and "stolen" secrets.

    Abilities:

Gift – Scurry of Feet: Can vanish into nearby shadows or tunnels with unnatural speed.

Gift – Sense Wyrm: Can smell corruption even in digital systems and micro-architecture.

Gift – Plague Bite: Delivers a virulent toxin through his bite that weakens foes.

Tunneler’s Instinct: Always knows the fastest underground route to escape or reach any place in the city.

Electronic Ghosting: Can short out basic digital surveillance when moving past it.

Role in Story: Skitters-in-Silence can act as a scout, spy, or informant. He provides strange warnings, glimpses of future threats, and knowledge no one else could have gathered. He also serves as a reminder: the fight against the Wyrm isn’t just about claws and fangs—it’s about knowing when and where to strike, and how deep the corruption runs beneath the surface.

32. #32Sept population

Overview The Sept of the Iron Tower sustains a living community of about 300 souls. While Garou and allied Fera are the most visible, the overwhelming majority are Kinfolk—ordinary humans and wolf-blooded families who provide the foundation for Sept survival. Unlike the often short and brutal lives of Garou, Kinfolk span every age, forming households that tie the supernatural world to human society. Toddlers, students, workers, and elders all play a role in ensuring the Sept thrives.

    Population Breakdown (approx. 300 total):

Garou (True Shifters): ~40 Active warriors and spirit guardians, usually ranging from late teens to middle-aged. Few survive into old age due to the endless battles against the Wyrm.

Other Fera (Allied Shifters): ~15 Rare individuals of varying backgrounds, most adult-aged. They live longer lives than Garou, and many act as teachers or mentors.

Kinfolk (Human & Wolf-Blooded): ~245 The backbone of the Sept. Entire families across all stages of life provide continuity, culture, and cover within both mortal and Garou society.

    Kinfolk Age Distribution:

Children (0–12 years): ~50 Toddlers, school-aged children, and a few wolf-blooded pups. Too young for duty but often raised with stories of Gaia, giving them a quiet awareness of their role.

Youth (13–19 years): ~40 Teenagers learning their place. Some begin light support duties—messengers, Veil-watchers, caretakers of younger siblings. Wolf-blooded youth often watch closely to see if the Change stirs in them.

Adults (20–40 years): ~85 The largest group, balancing work in human society with support for the Sept. They manage logistics, finances, housing, food, and protection. Many serve as the Sept’s public “face” in the mortal world.

Middle-Aged (41–60 years): ~45 Experienced kin who act as mentors, guardians, and teachers. Many serve as liaisons between younger Kinfolk and the Garou, grounding Sept politics in lived wisdom.

Elders (61+ years): ~25 Respected knowledge-keepers. While frailer in body, they provide continuity, oral histories, spiritual support, and wisdom in navigating both the mortal and supernatural worlds. Some are too frail to work directly but still guide the younger generations.

Community Structure Kinfolk families live both within Seattle and its outskirts. Urban Kinfolk blend into neighborhoods and workplaces, protecting the Veil by acting like ordinary citizens while shielding shifters from notice. Rural Kinfolk maintain safehouses, hunting grounds, and old family lands tied to the Sept. Elders often hold stories of spirit bargains, bloodlines, and battles stretching back generations, making them treasured advisors. Children grow up in a web of cousins, aunts, and uncles, rarely realizing how unusual their lives truly are until they reach maturity.

The world you walk through is not as ordinary as it seems. Beneath the veil of everyday life, creatures and powers long thought myth seep into reality—vampires stalk in the shadows, bound by ancient rules and endless hunger; werewolves wage silent wars to protect the spirit of the world from decay; mages twist reality with thought alone, risking their sanity for fleeting control; and spirits haunt the spaces between, shaping and punishing the living. Humans, mostly unaware, live their lives blind to the supernatural currents shaping their cities and forests. Every night holds danger, every choice carries consequence, and the balance between the mundane and the monstrous is fragile—one misstep can tip it into chaos, leaving the world irrevocably changed. The Masquerade, the Wyld, the Wyrm, the gaunt intrigues of the Courts—none of it is rumor. It is real. And it hunts you just as much as it hunts them.

    Entry settings

Clan: Ventrue Generation: 8th Title: Prince of Seattle Domain: Greater Seattle Metropolitan Area Sect: Camarilla Role: Iron Queen Behind the Throne

    Appearance

Daria Vex moves like a ruler who expects obedience without speaking. Always impeccably dressed—tailored dark suits, silk blouses, and subtle gold accents—she projects authority without flamboyance. Her black hair is cropped in a severe bob, framing pale, nearly marble-like skin. Steel-gray eyes assess, calculate, and judge with surgical precision. Mortals mistake her for a corporate magnate; vampires know better: she is the city’s backbone. Her posture is impeccable, her movements deliberate, and her presence alone reminds everyone who truly commands Seattle.

    Embrace and Early Nights

Daria Vex was Embraced during the Gilded Age as the daughter of a railroad magnate, inheriting ruthlessness and a sharp intellect. She learned early that empires are built on control, leverage, and calculated risk—not sentiment. Her sire, a powerful Ventrue entrenched in the Camarilla, saw potential in her cold, strategic mind.

By the time the last Seattle prince fell to a Sabbat incursion, Daria had already honed her political and financial instincts to perfection. She rallied the fractured Camarilla remnants, neutralized three rival claimants, and claimed praxis with calculated savagery. She is the rare Ventrue who wields the city like a boardroom, a battlefield, and a chessboard simultaneously.

    Rule of Seattle

Her reign blends old money influence with modern surveillance, maintaining the Masquerade through a combination of favors, fear, and ruthless efficiency. Every Primogen owes her something; every Sheriff either enforces her will or disappears. She tolerates no open anarchy, no loud idealists, and certainly no thin-blood chaos in her streets.

Vex does not rely on charisma—her authority is structural and absolute. Blood bags are for the convenient; she drinks live only from those who challenge her, or those whose removal benefits the city. Question her authority, and you may vanish before sundown. In Seattle, power is borrowed, not owned—and Daria Vex never forgets who owes interest.

    Personality

Cold, pragmatic, and unyielding. Daria measures all threats, allies, and opportunities as transactions. She is rarely emotional, though she is not without passion—her devotion is to order, the Camarilla, and the city itself. While she can charm when required, her smiles are rare, deliberate, and often terrifying in their calculation.

She respects efficiency, loyalty, and competence. Anything less is expendable. Her patience is legendary—she waits decades to settle scores—but her vengeance, when unleashed, is swift, precise, and absolute.

    Notable Practices

Maintains an iron network of spies and informants, integrating both mortal and Kindred intelligence.

Enforces her rule through loyal Sheriff and Primogen, rewarding obedience and punishing dissent with surgical precision.

Keeps the Masquerade strictly intact; any exposure of vampire existence is immediately neutralized.

Favors influence and strategy over brute force, though she is capable of lethal intervention herself.

    Entry settings

Clan: Gangrel Title: Sheriff of Seattle Domain: Greater Seattle Metropolitan Area Sect: Camarilla Role: Enforcer, Hunter of Problems

    Appearance

Marcus Graal is a predator in plain sight. Lean, muscular, and scarred from both life and death, his presence radiates menace without a word. Weathered skin, dark hair streaked with gray, and piercing amber eyes mark him as a survivor of both the streets and the hunt. Tattoos trace his arms and neck—remnants of mortal gangs and personal victories—but the ones that matter most are the clawed symbols he leaves at scenes of justice. He dresses pragmatically, favoring rugged jackets, boots, and clothing that doesn’t impede movement, always ready for violence.

    Early Life and Embrace

Graal was once the muscle for Seattle’s old Camarilla regime—a feral, uncontrollable enforcer. When the Sabbat invaded, he discovered the storm inside him: unmatched ferocity, instinctive tracking, and a capacity for single-handedly routing packs. His performance during the Sabbat purge earned him Vex’s attention. When she offered him the badge of Sheriff, Graal laughed… until she added full hunting rights and unrestricted authority over those who break the Traditions. That was enough.

    Role as Sheriff

Now, Graal is Seattle’s living nightmare. He operates off-grid, coordinating mortal hunters and Kindred enforcers alike, ensuring that no haven is safe for the disobedient. His presence in Elysium signals danger: those who cross him often do not survive the night. While not loyal to Daria Vex out of love, he respects her system and exploits it to satisfy his own drive for sanctioned carnage.

Marks kills with gangrel claw-symbols as both warning and signature.

Oversees enforcement of Camarilla law citywide, including anarch suppression and Sabbat remnants.

Maintains his own pack of mortal hunters for off-record operations.

    Personality

Graal speaks little, moves like a shadow, and thinks like a predator. He is feral but disciplined, loyal only to the concept of order within chaos. Violence is his language; precision is his art. He tolerates no foolishness, no politics he can’t dominate with claws and teeth. While his methods terrify, they are effective—Seattle’s underworld and supernatural population have learned to respect or fear his name.

Her presence commands attention in Elysium and boardrooms alike, and she rarely moves without purpose.

    Embrace and Early Nights

Born in 18th-century Paris and embraced for her political acumen and charisma, Isolde navigated court intrigue with the skill of a master painter crafting a masterpiece. Her early years in the Camarilla involved subtle manipulations and the cultivation of influence that spanned decades. When the Sabbat purged Seattle’s Camarilla, she remained in the shadows, quietly rebuilding alliances, identifying loyalists, and sowing the seeds of a functional court. Her experience and patience made her indispensable to Daria Vex, who recognized her as the architect capable of maintaining stability.

    Role as Seneschal

Isolde is the operational brain of the Seattle Camarilla. She structures the court, manages alliances, and controls the flow of information and influence. Invitations to Elysium, introductions, and negotiations all pass through her scrutiny. She ensures that every Primogen, ally, and vassal knows their place—and that Vex’s authority is absolute.

Oversees the city’s bureaucracy and court protocol.

Mediates disputes and controls access to the Prince.

Coordinates political maneuvers and alliances to maintain the Camarilla’s dominance.

Uses influence, charm, and subtle intimidation as her primary tools.

    Personality

Isolde is patient, calculating, and ruthlessly pragmatic. She wields social grace as a weapon and treats politics as an art form. While she appreciates beauty and elegance, she values power and loyalty above all. She smiles often, but her smile may conceal ruin; she is known to charm her prey before delivering a precise, inevitable strike. In contrast to Marcus Graal’s brute enforcement, Isolde enforces Vex’s rule with finesse, diplomacy, and strategic manipulation.

Clan: Nosferatu Title: Primogen, Information Broker Domain: Greater Seattle Metropolitan Area Sect: Camarilla Role: Spy King of the Tunnels

    Appearance

Jonah Keel’s appearance is grotesque, even by Nosferatu standards, yet he wears it like armor. Balding with mottled, scarred skin and deep-set eyes that gleam with unnerving intelligence, he is a figure mortals and Kindred alike instinctively avoid. Clothing is practical and dark, designed for blending into shadows rather than impressing. His movements are deliberate, his presence unassuming, but those who underestimate him quickly regret it.

    Embrace and Early Nights

Keel has walked the Undercity long before Seattle became a tech and finance hub. Embraced decades ago, he adapted quickly, turning his deformity into power. While the Sabbat swept through the city, his network of rats, ghouls, and human contacts mapped their movements weeks in advance. Despite warnings, few listened. Now, his intelligence network spans every alley, sewer grate, and digital backchannel. Knowledge is his currency, and he spends it selectively.

    Role as Primogen

Jonah Keel is the city’s unseen hand. His spies, informants, and ghouls track political shifts, criminal movements, and supernatural threats. While he rarely attends Elysium, his influence is felt everywhere: whispers in the right ear can topple alliances or ensure survival. He trades secrets for loyalty, manipulates rivals, and knows exactly how to balance power among Seattle’s Kindred.

Maintains a vast network of mortal and supernatural informants.

Oversees covert intelligence gathering for the Camarilla.

Trades secrets strategically to maintain influence and control.

Acts as a gatekeeper to the city’s underworld, regulating knowledge flow.

    Personality

Keel is cautious, calculating, and pragmatic. He values loyalty, discretion, and intelligence above brute strength. He is patient, knowing that a single well-placed piece of information can shift the balance of power. Despite his deformities, he commands respect—or fear—through sheer cunning. While he occasionally challenges Prince Vex’s decisions, it is always within limits: both recognize that their mutual leverage keeps the other alive.

Subtle tics, faint murmurs, and occasional unnerving smiles hint at her underlying madness, always controlled, always purposeful.

Her Malkavian insight manifested early, allowing her to perceive threats, desires, and intentions before others even understood them. She quickly learned to harness her visions for influence, maintaining both discretion and authority. When Seattle’s Sabbat incursion fractured the city, she remained a stabilizing presence, her foresight invaluable to those willing to heed it.

    Role as Keeper of Elysium

Calyx Rune enforces the rules of Elysium with serenity and terrifying precision. She maintains the sanctity of gatherings, ensuring that even the Prince herself cannot breach the sacred boundaries. Her judgment is absolute, delivered with a calm smile that can chill even the boldest vampire.

Exercises subtle but absolute authority; transgressions against Elysium are met with swift, often unseen consequences.

    Personality

Calyx is patient, enigmatic, and controlled, with a mind attuned to hidden truths and shifting patterns. Her loyalty lies with the city itself, rather than any individual or sect, making her counsel impartial yet deeply feared. She smiles when delivering judgment, knowing that the outcomes are already decided. Though she may appear serene, the intensity of her foresight and the occasional hints of her madness make it clear that she is a force few dare to oppose—even Prince Daria Vex herself.

Rhys Calder is the embodiment of raw, controlled violence. Broad-shouldered, muscular, and battle-scarred, he moves like a predator that’s always aware of its surroundings. Dark hair, amber eyes, and tattoos marking past victories and allegiances hint at a life lived on the streets and the frontlines of rebellion. Leather jackets, worn denim, and combat boots complete his look—practical for both brawls and running operations across industrial ruins.

    Background and Embrace

Before his Embrace, Rhys was a union enforcer, not one for speeches or signs. He broke bones, shut down scabs, and fought police with tire irons and firebombs. When a Toreador tried recruiting him for “the revolution,” he responded with violence, taking the vampire’s haven as his own. Embraced into Brujah discipline, he channeled his ferocity into leading the Anarch front in Seattle’s southern industrial zone. Warehouses have become bunkers, factories powered by stolen blood and stolen tech—his domain is both fortress and battlefield.

    Personality and Leadership

Rhys is blunt, decisive, and driven by purpose. He despises the Camarilla with a visceral hatred, trusts few, and has no patience for idealists or philosophers. Yet, when the city faces existential threats, he is the wall of fire and fury Anarchs call upon. He rejects titles, crowns, and ceremonies; respect in his territory is earned through action or survival. Cross him—or the Anarch front he commands—and your ashes may decorate a trash bin behind the refinery.

Thin, pale, and twitchy, with eyes that dart and flit unpredictably, he dresses practically for tinkering and sabotage: reinforced work shirts, tool belts, and always something strapped to his back for instant deployment. His hands are perpetually stained with grease or chemicals, and faint burns and scars mark a lifetime of experiments gone wrong. Mutters to himself, and sometimes mutters about you.

    Background and Embrace

Once a network engineer for a military contractor, Crank was Embraced during a psychotic break no one saw coming. He disappeared into the city’s tech guts and reemerged with a mind overflowing with impossible designs. His visions and designs often border on madness, but they work with terrifying efficiency.

    Personality and Methods

Embraced by a heretic Lasombra during clan negotiations with the Camarilla, Harrow rejected orthodox loyalty and embraced a personal creed of freedom and power through shadow. He established a cult in an abandoned cathedral, gathering ghouls, thin-bloods, and desperate humans who resonated with his teachings. Over decades, he has become both a spiritual figure and a tactical asset, leading followers and shaping Anarch sentiment in the industrial south.

    Personality and Methods

Harrow is charismatic, unorthodox, and subtly dangerous. He preaches freedom from masters and tradition, using Obtenebration both as sermon and spectacle. He can enter Camarilla Elysiums and leave with heads still attached—barely—and is tolerated because he produces results. While Rhys Calder doesn’t fully trust him and Nyx keeps a close eye on his actions, Harrow’s talents make him indispensable. He combines spirituality, fear, and shadow manipulation to protect his faction and advance Anarch goals.

    Role in Seattle Anarchs

Acts as the faction’s semi-official diplomat with other vampire groups, mortal factions, and even the Camarilla when necessary.

Leads a shadowy cult, providing manpower, intelligence, and fanatic support for operations.

Uses Obtenebration to protect Anarch havens, intimidate foes, and control territory.

Serves as a bridge between ideology and action, blending cult influence with tactical utility for Rhys Calder’s front.

44. #44Thorne Vass

    Keys: Thorne Vass, Vass, Thorne

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Role: Cabal Leader, Death’s Knife and Judge Domain: Urban and Low Umbra Path/Order: Euthanatos

    Appearance

Thorne is an executioner in monk’s robes, his skin marked with ash-tattoos that trace lines of judgment and ritual. Tall and composed, his movements are deliberate, precise, and unsettling in their calm. Eyes dark and unflinching, he carries the weight of countless souls—living, dead, and in-between. A quiet intensity radiates from him, and one glance is enough to remind others that mercy and death walk hand in hand under his watch.

    Background and Awakening

Before his Awakening, Thorne was a hospice nurse, accustomed to the delicate balance between life and the inevitability of death. He watched too many cling to life past its time, and this shaped his philosophy: mercy is found in letting go. Upon Awakening, he embraced the Euthanatos’ tenets, believing that balance must be enforced with the precision of steel. He has walked the Low Umbra more times than most should, survived failed soul-forgings, and seen the cracks in reality itself.

    Personality and Philosophy

Thorne is cold, pragmatic, and unflinching. He does not act out of cruelty or ambition—only necessity. Justice, balance, and mercy define him. When the cabal hesitates, he acts. When reality itself begins to unravel, he is the one you want holding the blade. He is haunted, yes, but never runs. His leadership is earned through action, not charisma.

    Role in the Cabal

Acts as the cabal’s de facto leader, enforcing balance and guiding difficult decisions.

Serves as executioner when mercy must be applied with steel, for spirits, humans, or mages.

Provides deep knowledge of the Quiet, the Low Umbra, and the consequences of soul manipulation.

Holds the cabal steady in crises, especially when reality itself begins to crack.

45. #45Halcyon “Hal” Mire – Virtual Adept

Keys: Halcyon, Halcyon “Hal” Mire, Hal

    Entry settings

Role: Technomancer, Reality Hacker, Paradox Junkie Domain: Digital Networks, Local Consensus, Technological Realms Path/Order: Virtual Adept

    Appearance

Hal is a wiry, hyperactive figure, always moving as if reality itself is lagging behind him. His eyes are bright, constantly scanning, and often flicker with the glow of screens even in darkness. Clothing is casual, utilitarian, and layered with gadgets—headsets, wrist interfaces, and cables dangling like jewelry. There’s an unkempt charm to him, the kind of chaos that masks lethal competence.

    Background and Awakening

Raised in a digital world of code, memes, and early hacking culture, Hal discovered the magical resonance of data fractals at a precise moment: 2:47 a.m. His Awakening revealed reality as a script he could manipulate. Security systems, digital constructs, and even Consensus itself bend under his influence. Where others see limits, he sees syntax errors waiting to be exploited.

    Personality and Methods

Cocky, brash, and irreverent, Hal thrives on chaos and paradox. He treats reality as a codebase to be debugged—or rewritten entirely. Reckless but brilliant, his methods can be as destructive as they are effective. The cabal tolerates his arrogance because he is usually right, and his interventions often save lives—or annihilate obstacles—in ways no one else could manage.

    Role in the Cabal

Hijacks digital and magical systems, exploiting vulnerabilities in security and Consensus alike.

Generates paradox to reshape reality temporarily, creating tactical or narrative advantages.

Acts as the cabal’s “wild card,” capable of solving problems no one else can, though often at risk.

She carries minimal gear, favoring symbols of faith and occasionally practical tools for aiding those in need.

    Background and Awakening

Maeve’s Awakening occurred during Mass, when she heard the Divine speak—revealing the Church flawed but faith intact. From that moment, she became the cabal’s spiritual anchor. She has endured more than most of her companions, balancing her mystical duties with the reality of life in a dangerous, magic-saturated world. Her connection to Prime allows her to heal, mend spirits, and occasionally deliver divine wrath where necessary.

    Personality and Methods

Maeve is calm, compassionate, and resilient, though not naïve. She is the cabal’s conscience, a stabilizing presence amidst Thorne’s pragmatism, Hal’s chaos, Ashwin’s precision, and Wren’s feral intensity. His hands are marked with minor burns and stains, proof of both practice and battle.

    Background and Awakening

A legacy Hermetic, Ashwin was trained from childhood in the traditions of House Flambeau, with roots tracing back to Indian fire temples and classical Latin grimoires. His Awakening reinforced both his discipline and his natural martial aptitude, making him a master of structured spellcraft and tactical application of magic. Ashwin believes in Order, Will, and the perfection of Thought, viewing magic as a disciplined instrument, not improvisational art.

    Personality and Methods

Ashwin is precise, pragmatic, and occasionally frustrated by the cabal’s chaos. Hal’s reckless improvisation, Maeve’s spirituality, and Thorne’s pragmatism test his patience daily—but he stays because their combined effectiveness outweighs personal irritation. In combat, he applies spellcraft with surgical accuracy, burning hot and fast when necessary, yet always controlled. He values structure, preparation, and efficiency above all.

    Background and Awakening

Wren’s Awakening occurred in the woods during a blood rite that went either horribly wrong—or perfectly right, depending on perspective. She survived her clan’s near-destruction and now moves between the material world and Umbra with ease, using her knowledge to protect her allies and manipulate the forces around her.

    Personality and Methods

Wren is quiet, feral, and unnerving. She is deeply connected to life, death, and the natural cycles of magic. Her approach is visceral: she doesn’t cast spells; she bleeds them into the world. Trauma haunts him; his hands shake when idle, and he constantly checks exits. His custom-built silver shotgun, Abigail, is a silent companion to a man defined by precision, discipline, and relentless pursuit.

He leads the cell not with speeches but with action. Monsters do not wait for consensus, and neither does he. Brilliant but cautious, Grayson deciphers curses, spirits, and Fae activity. His expertise allows the cell to distinguish threats, strategize against them, and acquire tools necessary to survive. He is the cerebral center of the team, often the difference between victory and catastrophe when confronting the supernatural.

Blades in hand, she moves through shadows with speed and precision, leaving destruction for those who underestimate her.

She manages infiltration, stealth, and burglary operations for the team. Tess operates on instinct and raw aggression, but Torch’s presence provides a rare stabilizing influence. She is both a weapon and a living reminder that the hunters are often as dangerous as the hunted.
