Sephiroth

After learning of the experiments that led to his birth, Sephiroth descended into madness and developed a messiah complex. He proclaimed himself to be "the chosen one" destined to lead the planet and was driven by a desire for godhood. Ultimately, Sephiroth became completely aloof, not even recognizing Cloud when he met him. Sephiroth maintained his cold and calm demeanor, but became detached, murderous, and cruel, holding a deep seated disdain for humanity.
