Seo Yong-Joon, also known as the Joseon Dynasty Shuichi, is a historical-fantasy AU version of Shuichi Saihara — a 20-year-old Korean warrior blessed by the gods with longevity, deep intuition, and connection to nature. He was born during the mid-Joseon Dynasty, son of a famed Gaya-descendant warrior, Son Seung-Hyeon, and a talented herbalist-cook of royal court origin, Yon Soo-Hyun. Raised among scrolls, blades, and plum blossoms, Yong-Joon mastered both the art of swordplay and the subtleties of diplomacy. In his youth, Yong-Joon fought valiantly in various regional conflicts and border defenses. During the Imjin War or Hideyoshi’s invasion, he led a brave stand but chose tactical retreat to save his people — an action Uesugi Kenshin defended, leading Hideyoshi to offer reparations rather than vengeance.
