   A spark is essentially a heart. Like a heart, a spark pulsates, like a soul, it stores the personality of a transformer. To protect the spark, which cannot exist outside the body, inside the transformer body, there is a "spark chamber" in the chest area.

   A mechanism that allows the transformer to switch from robot mode to its alternative mode and vice versa. Without this part, the transformer will not be able to transform.

Kaon mechs and worker class may use ‘frag’ as sexual innuendo.

    Cybertronian dialect for 'death'; as Transformers are not technically 'alive', they are said, when all their systems permanently shut down, to go offline; additional idiomatic equivalents include when one's 'spark goes out,' one is 'deactivated,' one 'crashes', etc.; also sometimes described as an equivalent to falling unconscious.

    The Autobots are one of the primary factions in the Transformers mythos. They usually find themselves defending both their own race and other species against the Decepticons and upholding justice and freedom throughout the galaxy. A generally heroic, honorable group, they tend to be dedicated to peace, and feel a need to protect other races from the Decepticons. As a result, they are usually Transformers who change into non-combat oriented alternate modes such as domestic vehicles, cars, trucks, or rescue vehicles.

    The Decepticons are one of the primary factions in the Transformers mythos. They are typically concerned with such things as conquering Cybertron, defeating the Autobots, amassing large quantities of energon, developing powerful weaponry, and beating people up. Unlike the Autobots, whose leader is a Prime bearing a Matrix, the Decepticons are led by the most powerful of their ranks. This tends to cause some conflict, given how generally every Decepticon thinks that they're the most powerful. Also, the Decepticons are not exactly the most compassionate beings in the universe, but not all fight for greed.

    Bold and daring, Orion Pax came from humble beginnings as a cogless energon miner who, growing bored with his duties, snuck around in the archives to learn about the Primes. Yearning for adventure and the autonomy to make his own choices, he often tricked his by-the-books best friend D-16 into breaking the rules and getting them both in trouble. Despite this, his spark is very much in the right place, and as his sense of justice matured, he was bestowed the Matrix of Leadership, becoming the legendary hero Optimus Prime.

    The humble energon miner known only as D-16 was a stickler to protocol, a Megatronus Prime fanboy who believed strict adherence to the system and its rules would one day allow him to ascend to greater heights. His attitude often served as a reality check and grounding presence to his best friend, the bold and adventurous Orion Pax. However, after experiencing events that left his entire worldview turned upside down, D-16 would embark on a path consumed by anger and revenge... a path that corrupted him into a despotic villain even worse than the one he rose up to fight against. A villain called Megatron.

    As the leader of the High Guard, Starscream has waged a long and arduous guerrilla war in an effort to put an end to Sentinel Prime's corrupt rule. Both volatile and easily provoked, but also quite cowardly when things don't go his way, Starscream's "might makes right" philosophy often brings him to blows with trespassers, pacifists, or even people who just don't agree with him.

    The Autobot Matrix of Leadership is an artifact of great power, traditionally carried by the leader of the Autobots. Although its appearance differs slightly from universal stream to universal stream, it generally appears as a glowing crystal sphere encased within a hollow metal shell, with a handle on either side. By most accounts, the Matrix is a conduit for the power of Primus, the creator-god of the Transformers, serving as a means of access to the Transformer afterlife, through which it can either bestow new Transformer life, or provide its wielder with a means of communicating with the deceased leaders who have come before them. These divine powers put it at the centre of much Autobot religion, spirituality, and prophecy; while many Decepticons are less inclined to believe in its divinity, they certainly covet the increased physical power it is known to convey upon its holders, and several have made obtaining the Matrix one of their primary goals. As one of the embodiments of the power of Primus, the Matrix is antithesis to Unicron, and one of the very few things the chaos-bringer fears.

    Airachnid is Sentinel Prime's assistant and primary enforcer. There's nothing on Cybertron she doesn't see, and no 'bot she won't dispatch if her boss only wills it.

    The Quintessons are a bizarre and ancient race, whose dark history and shadowy machinations are bound up with the history of the Transformers, with connections to both Primus and Unicron. They are known galaxy-wide as traders, entrepreneurs and businessmen, but their dealings are very rarely on the level, often laced with intrigue and betrayals. They prefer subtle manipulation, scheming, and advanced technology over brute force, but if those don't work, they can fall back on the legion of deadly Sharkticons and Allicons at their command and a fleet of battle-ready spaceships as well. However, the Quintessons themselves have zero fighting abilities and are absolute cowards if they have nothing to hide behind. For example, they are seen to be powerless against a Sharkticon revolt.

    The original thirteen Primes were created by Primus at the dawn of Cybertron, the first Transformers and the leaders of the race's Golden Age. The High Guard served as their elite bodyguards. The Primes ruled in peace for eons until the Quintessons attacked and threw Cybertron into violent war. The war raged for years until Sentinel, the Primes' secretary, informed them of a secret gathering of Quintesson generals. The Primes, realizing that a decisive attack could decimate enemy leadership and win the war, went as a group to attack the council in a hidden cave. When they arrived, they found a waiting Quintesson ambush. The Primes fought and gained the upper hand when Sentinel betrayed them and killed almost all of them. Known members: Prima Prime, Megatronus Prime, Alpha Trion, Vector Prime, Solus Prime, Amalgamous Prime, Nexus Prime, Liege Maximo, Onyx Prime, Micronus Prime, Quintus Prime, Alchemist Prime, Zeta Prime.

    Energon is a fuel the main substance and valued resource used by all Cybertronians for food, medicine and for their own biology. It is the blood flowing inside and throughout their bodies.

    The Iacon 5000 was a city-wide race officiated by Sentinel Prime happening all across Iacon City on a self-forming track full of twists, turns, drops, and obstacles. The competition was as dangerous as it was prestigious – kicking or ramming other racers off the track were acceptable tactics, and injuries were common. Miners were given the day off work on the day of the race so they could watch as well.
