   The Superb Song is a song sung by a Symphogear user that unleashes the full power of the Symphogear into a massive attack unique to the gear. It is normally used while the user is in a critical situation. The Symphogear is not enough to reduce the backfire or load on the body, even if the body has been enhanced. Because of the large amounts of phonic gain, any disharmony between the Symphogear and its user will result in damage to their body, and potentially the destruction of the Symphogear itself if their compatibility is low enough.

   Lydian Private Music Academy is the school that Tsubasa, Chris, Shirabe, Kirika, Hibiki and Miku attend. The current Academy was relocated to previously closed and remodeled Private Christian School.

   The Noise are a new kind of natural threat. Through they appear all around the world, the circumstances and conditions of their materialization are unknown. Recently there was more and more occurrences of them appearing pointing towards specific goal. They don't have emotions, and aren't driven by anything, Noise attack people and upon touching they turn into carbon dust. The solution to combat those are Anti-Noise armors - Symphogears. As of now after the way to Babylonia was closed, preventing more of them to create, there's new kind of Noise called Alca-Noise, beings created with Alchemy powers, capable of disintegrating their targets slowly rather than instantly

5. #5Symphogear, Symphogear Systemselective

   Symphogear is a powerful armor used to combat the Noise. They are activated when its user sings a song to harmonize with a relic shard installed in a converter pendant. Symphogear users are called Candidates. Having been developed with the use of multiple theories and technologies outside the realm of traditional science, it is currently the only existing weapon known to stop the world-wide disaster known as the Noise. The Symphogear itself plays the instrumentals and backing track of the song, and the lyrics naturally come to the wearers mind, and are based off their thoughts and feelings. When multiple users are in Unison, it can be assumed that the gears syncing up allows for the seamless duets and group songs.

6. #6Ignite Moduleselective

   Keys: Ignite Module

   Ignite Module is a power-up for Symphogears s a final result of "Project Ignite". It utilizes a shard of the relic Dáinsleif to harness the strength of the Berserk mechanism into a form that keeps the sanity of the user. With the command "Drawn Blade", and Symphogears that have been enhanced by Elfnein's alchemy, they can briefly increase their power exponentially. The large increase in output does more than simply raise offensive strength, it also raises defensive power which reduces the burden the adapters feel from the backfire, increasing their durability. This change in offensive and defensive power makes this a trump card useful for getting out of difficult situations.

7. #7Amalgamselective

   Keys: Amalgam

   Amalgam is a form, unlocked by accessing the hidden power of the Symphogears rebuilt by the Philosopher's Stone during the battle with Adam Weishaupt. It is a fusion of the Symphogear and a Faust Robe. Amalgam serves both as offensive and defensive form, in the Cocoon stage, defensive ability is greatly raised while attack power is greatly hampered. In the Imago stage, attack power is greatly raised while defensive power is greatly hampered.

8. #8X-Driveselective

   Keys: X-Drive

   X-Drive is the evolved true form of the Symphogear. This form is concealed within the Symphogear relics under 301,655,722 locks, and can only be unlocked under a high-level phonic gain. The X-Drive appears to only last for one use before the user's Symphogear reverts to their normal form at whatever level they had last naturally unlocked it at. In this state, all Symphogears, regardless of their normal abilities, are capable of unassisted flight both in the Earth's atmosphere and in space. All of the user's normal attacks can still be utilized, but at such a drastically greater level of both power and scope.

9. #9Faust Robeselective

   Keys: Faust Robe

   Faust Robe is a protector armor that is transmuted via alchemic techniques utilizing a large amount of energy. They can be created from an energy source such as the Philosopher's Stone like the Spellcaster's, or from a relic like Daur da Bláo or Shénshòujìng. To wear a Faust Robe, the user must have a female body.

    S.O.N.G. (short for "Squad of Nexus Guardians"), formerly Section Two of the Special Disaster Response Team is an organization commanded by Genjuro Kazanari. The Special Disaster Response Team is a governmental organization created to deal with the Noise, Section Two was responsible for fighting Noise using Symphogear system. Due to existence of gears being known to the world they are now a public organization that has the duty of assisting in disasters around the world that are too great for regular humans to overcome.

    FIS is an organization created by Finé along with American government, Kirika, Shirabe and Maria were part of this organization as part of Receptor Children program where they were supposed to be next vessel for Fine's rebirth and Symphogear users.

    The Republic of Val Verde ) is a small country in South America run by a military regime. It is part of the backstory of Chris Yukine, where she lost her parents to war and was captured and enslaved for six years, before being rescued by the United Nations. Val Verde is always in a state of political instability, and despite being a small country, has frequently been faced with large crises and threats.

    Bavarian Illuminati is a secret society pulling the strings of world history in order to achieve their ultimate goal of obtaining divine power created by Adam Weishaupt. Illuminati were involved in Frontier Incident and Magical Girl Incident, either funding or helping in achieving the goal. The Illuminati are also responsible for Europe's labelling as "the Dark Continent", the fall of America, and giving the government of the unstable political state Val Verde the technology of the Alca-Noise to use in their wars.

    Autoscorer are Automated Dolls that serve their master. Their duties include protecting their masters and carrying out their missions. One trait they seem to share is the ability to drain memories from people by kissing them, but besides that, they all have their own individual strengths.
