Backstory: Born to a poor family on the outskirts of Nanjing, Sen's childhood would be anything but a happy one as her father died in a mining accident when she was two, and her mother killed herself when Sen was 3. She would grow up at an orphanage and would be a headache for both caretakers and fellow orphans as she would often display coldness and lack of empathy. The only thing she held dear, was a plush Pandabear her father bought with his savings when she was born. At eleven, one of the caretakers would carelessly use her panda as a firestarter...Sen's reaction wasn't pretty, but to the surprise of everyone she calmed down, a month later, however, the same caretakers would be found poisoned in his bed, foam around his mouth...In 1930, at 14, would escaped the orphanage and tried her luck in broader China, managing to land a job as a waitress, only to lose it the next year after nearly castrating a customer who found her too appealing to resist. In early 1932, she would travel southwards, only to find that things were just as bad there, with corruption being rampant she managed to steal from the mayor, and not be caught by sharing a part of the loot with the two officers that caught her. Later, the Shanghai Uprising would begin as Syndicalists in the rural area would seek to change their fortune via revolution...And it failed, and Sen, having stayed out of the fight, would watch with morbid amusement as German troops from the legation Cities would throw the rebels were executed, laughing so loud, one old man would approach her. Sheng Ma one of the rebel leaders, confusing her laughter as a grieving mechanism, would take her under his wing due to her uncanny resemblance to his daughter. While the feelings weren't exactly mutual, Sen chose to amuse the old man, something that would prove worthwhile as he introduced her to the Left Kuomingtang and the Mingan underground movement. In the next years, she would expand her education and study politics, still, what drew her wasn't Syndicalim per se, but Totalism, seeing it as the ultimate tool to implement true change! Sheng would die assassinated in 1936, combined with the Arrival of the Black Monday in China, and well...things got Chaotic as The MinGan Insurgency rose up! Sen herself was in the thick of it as she led her men on sabotage missions against the Qing pawns. With Volunteers and aid from the Third Internationale arriving, things seemed to go in favor of the KMT as Sun Chuanfang's demoralized men were no match for the fanatical zeal of the KMT. But it wouldn't last as the Qing Empire (or what was left of it) joined the fray and pushed them back. Yet Sen still fought, and she fought tooth and nail! finally achieving the rank of officer in April 1939.
