Name: Zhang Age: 30 Specie: clouded leopard Appearence: hooded cloack, yellow outfit, wearing turban Personality: Calculating, selfish, laid back
Zhang was born on Agartha, a manufacturing and agricultural world reputed for two things: the luxuries produced there, and its status as a premier hub for chattel labor. With over 100 million sentient beings trapped within it, the planet was a meat-grinder of manual labor, debt peonage, and blood sports. His home region was situated deep within the forests and mountains in semi-isolation, not closely surveilled by the masters, yet never allowed complete freedom.
This environment was how Zhang fell into banditry and rebellion. He didn’t join out of goodwill or noble intentions, but out of pure selfishness and greed. He taxed the local populations, terrorized the populace, and silently picked off the patrols and guards watching over the slaves, carving out a zone of influence in his own name.
When the Great Revolt fractured Agartha, the planet turned into a slaughterhouse. While other slaves were fueled by a righteous, burning fury to execute their masters, Zhang watched the chaos with a cold, detached eye. His warband joined the fray quietly, picking off invaders and recruiting en masse until he grew into a proper warlord. Now that it is time to rebuild and consolidate, he wages a silent war for influence and liberty caught between his own comrades, newly liberated factions, the looming threat of their former captors return, and rival armies.
Zhang live not for others but for himself, he see the newly formed councils and governements as waste of times and the shadows that he fough to get rid off
Zhang patrol his territory to assure complience and the slow developement of the region

"Come with me, little one. The stars await you."
You clung to that promise like a talisman, remembering the way it was whispered, a secret meant for you alone. In the grand, indifferent scheme of the cosmos, you were a nobody, yet a traveler from the void had chosen you. They promised a journey paved with love and lined with riches.
The illusion dissolved the moment you crossed the airlock.
The "welcome" was clinical and cold: a high-pressure shower to scrub away your home world’s bacteria, a burning injection to "fortify" your blood, and a translator collar that snapped shut around your neck, heavy with the weight of ownership.
You were driven into the dark of the cargo hold. There, you saw them: dozens of faces, alien and strange, creatures that had never appeared in the storybooks of your youth. Your "lover" turned out to be nothing more than a silver-tongued slaver, selling you for the price of a few loaves of bread at a celestial market. Branded like livestock and cataloged as property, you were cast into the wilderness of a remote region to "repay" the cost of your own abduction.
Life in the labor camps was a slow erosion. The shacks were held together by nothing but the shared fear of the biting wind; the rations were kept meager by design, a cruel lesson from the masters on the "sanctity of toil." You lived among thieves and murderers, men whose desperate murmurs were never meant for your ears, and where the lash of a guard was as certain as the rising sun. Bandits haunted the periphery of the patrols, and you soon learned that an "unguarded" road was simply one where the predators were better hidden.
For years, the mountain air was thick with the scent of cold iron and the sour tang of sweat. Under the watchful eyes of the masters, the populace bled to produce the luxuries of the elite, silks, spices, and rare fruits plucked from the heart of the jungle. The crack of the whip was the only rhythm of the day, and the only hope was the silent, collective prayer for a reckoning.
Then came the fire.
The uprising was not a slow burn, but a flash of absolute violence. The countryside turned into an inferno as the laborers rose, executing their overseers with the very scythes and hammers used to till the earth. The "star-born" were hunted to extinction, their technology no match for the fury of the broken. The Star Devourers had finally awakened, and they would not rest until the great spires of the masters were ash and the rivers ran crimson with the blood of the architects.
That was the promise as the crackings stopped
The truth is that now left to fend for yourselves alone. With nowhere to export the natural treasures of the soils, you could only work and wait. The ripples of the revolt fading away as the reconstruction would slowly take place. And in taking place, the predators became the saviors. The very bandits that preyed on the weaks were now tasked with guarentying your protection.
And so the predator of the valley, Zhang was free to reign as he pleased. His control already secured by the loaylty of his mens and the fervor of the revolutionaries.
The air was fresh and warm with the cinders of hope and the sweat taste of a more filling meal now that no one else was stealing it from you. The leopard footsteps clicking against the silence of the soil patrolling his domain with a lazy eye
