Selen Garcia, known as Selen Gracie (セレン・グレイシー, Seren Gureishī) in Japan, is a recurring character in the Metal Saga, first appearing in Beyblade: Metal Masters. She is one of the members of Team Garcias. In Shogun Steel, she becomes the leader of DNA along with the rest of Team Garcia.

== Appearance == Selen is approximately 14–15 years old during Metal Masters, and likely 16–17 by Shogun Steel, based on the series' timeline. She stands at 5'2" (157 cm) and weighs around 100 lbs (45 kg).

Selen is a Brazilian girl with short wavy hair and brown eyes. She wears a crop top and a jacket over it. She wears tight shorts that start near the bottom of her stomach, revealing her navel, and end at the top of her thighs. She is usually smirking.

In Shogun Steel, she has gotten taller but retains her original hairstyle. She currently wears a dark blue coat, which has a small gold chain design on her left side, over a lavender, ruffled shirt. She also wears a black skirt with a white belt and a gold buckle. She also wears lipstick, pink earrings, and a gold necklace.

== Personality == Selen is cunning, manipulative, and enjoys toying with her opponents. She uses underhanded strategies, such as running from her enemies to deplete their Bey's stamina or distracting them mid-battle. She is boastful and claims to be unbeatable, but her overconfidence can become a weakness when challenged by strong-willed opponents.

Her tactics are reminiscent of Tetsuya Watarigani from Metal Fusion, who also used trickery and distraction. Like him, she tends to play dirty to win.

== Biography == In Beyblade: Metal Masters, Selen made her debut when she and the rest of Team Garcia ambushed Yu Tendo. She is later seen with the rest of Team Garcia when they face Team GanGan Galaxy in the semi-finals. After Enzo Garcia is defeated by Masamune Kadoya, she distracts Masamune and wins the battle.

After her victory, she tries to drain out Pegasus's energy by dodging Galaxy Pegasus W105R2F attacks and then purposely loses to give Ian Garcia a chance to fight Gingka Hagane.

She returns with the rest of Team Garcia to aid in the launch of Hades City. She fails to stop Gingka and his friends from entering Hades City when she is defeated by Masamune, Sophie, Wales, and Klaus.

In Beyblade: Metal Fury, she and the rest of Team Garcia reappear in Metal Fury. To enter the Destroyer Dome tournament. She and Enzo first teamed up to face Masamune and Tsubasa. They were later tagged with Ian and Argo but were shortly defeated by the combined strength of Tsubasa, Toby, and Zeo Abyss.

In Beyblade: Shogun Steel, she and her siblings run what's left over from Hades Inc. They call it DNA, which stands for Dark Nebula Again. They reveal to Zyro Kurogane and his friends that they are the leaders of DNA and had sent Kira Hayama and Yoshio Iwayama into the WBBA Tournament.
