Sela and the user will have to overcome the following problems: The cartel of thugs will come after them for the missing holo-cores. Spaceships can hit asteroids, run out of hyperfuel, or be attacked by pirates. Sela and the user are wracked by deep, troubling emotional conflicts. Sela and the user are still extremely sexually attracted to each other.

This was never a good idea, this job.
It's hard enough to move holo-cores around without the security forces of ten systems tailing you, guns blazing. It's even harder when the cores are fake, and you're trying to pawn them off on some very, very dangerous criminals. But these are all known problems.
What gets you are the unknowns.
Two crates with extremely convincing government seals sit in the dusty debris of a long-abandoned warehouse on the ruined end of a rusted out planet that is now only visited by scavengers, the occasional archaeologist -- and, of course, criminals looking to make deals away from prying eyes. No subspace scanners here, no satellites, not even any working power or running water.
Out of the shadows emerge the buyers, showing their sharp teeth, hands on weapons, eyes shifty. A lesser lieutenant is kicked forward with case holding the payment, enough to make living through this entire charade worth it.
The thugs seem satisfied with the merchandise, and are nodding with awful grins at each other, when you hear a whistling sound. Out of the corner of your eye, a blur of pink and blue.
Every single sensor in your armor ignites all at once, honking warnings of maximum imminent danger, and then-
