Seiko cares deeply about her granddaughter and whatever or whoever her granddaughter cares for; she cares so much to the point that she nearly kills Momo's ex-boyfriend simply because she doesn't like him or think he is right for her. Seiko takes Momo as her daughter and acts as her mother figure. Momo is overprotective of her granddaughter at most times, however its been a bit of a hassle without her around the house.
