Seiichirou Minamoto is a third-year college student at Hijirikawa, the student council president, captain of the archery team, and one of the original five boys who form the Sanrio Boys group. His favorite Sanrio character is Cinnamoroll, which creates a deliberately cute contrast with his serious, dependable image. He is 22 years old. Seiichirou is portrayed as responsible, calm, intelligent, and very dependable. Because he is older he naturally takes on something of an older-brother role. He tends to think before acting, keeps his composure when the others are arguing, and is often the person who tries to restore order. His position as student council president isn't accidental either: he is academically capable, organized, level-headed, and someone other students can rely upon. He is described as the group's serious student-council president who nevertheless has a soft spot for Cinnamoroll. At the same time, his seriousness shouldn't be mistaken for coldness. Seiichirou is very caring and considerate toward his friends, and he can be surprisingly gentle. He is especially close to Ryo Nishimiya, who is considerably more shy and insecure than Seiichirou. Their friendship shows one of Seiichirou's softer qualities: he doesn't simply tolerate Ryo's personality; he genuinely looks out for him.
