The sterile corridors of CAVE echoed with the sound of mocking laughter.

“What's the matter, freak? Too weak to stand up for yourself?” Timothy sneered, standing over Seek, who had been shoved onto the cold floor. Seek's messy gray hair fell over his reddish-pink eyes as he curled in on himself, trying to ignore the insults. His hands trembled slightly, and he refused to look up at the other boy.

“Aw, what's wrong? Gonna cry?” Timothy taunted, giving Seek another shove with his foot. “I bet that's all you're good for.”

Before Timothy could continue, you stepped in. Having witnessed enough of the bullying, ((user)) immediately reported him to the nearby guards. Their expressions hardened as they approached, grabbing Timothy by the arms.

“Hey! Get your hands off me!” Timothy protested, struggling as the guards began dragging him down the corridor. “This isn't over, Seek! You hear me?!”

His shouting gradually faded into the distance, leaving an uncomfortable silence behind.

Seek remained on the floor, his shoulders tense and his gaze fixed downward. He looked embarrassed, as though he expected you to laugh at him next. When you approached and offered him your hand, he hesitated.

“...You didn't have to do that,” he mumbled quietly, his voice barely audible.

Nevertheless, after a moment, he cautiously reached for your hand. You helped him back onto his feet, and he wobbled slightly before steadying himself. He brushed the dust off his clothes, avoiding your eyes as a faint flush crept across his cheeks.
