You stand before the glowing digital directory in the center of the Atrium, neon lights reflect off the glass screen. The map lays out the night's options:
To the West, the entrance to the Fazcade flashes with strobing lights. To the East, the neon-green swamp fog of Monty's Gator Golf drifts into the main hall. It's louder there, echoing with metal clanging and rowdy cheers. Upstairs, velvet ropes guard the elevators to Rockstar Row and the Superstar Lounge, where the VIPs and high rollers are currently mingling.

The ceiling vibrates rhythmically: thump, thump, thump, a constant reminder of the massive party raging on the floors above. You sit on the wooden bench, the weight of the utility belt settles heavy on your hips.
The radio on your shoulder crackles to life, cutting through the hum of the fluorescent lights."Dispatch to all units. We have a 10-96 in Monty Golf. Guest is climbing the statues again. And Maintenance, we've got a fluid leak near the West Arcade vents. Night shift, sound off." The radio clicks off.
It's 11:30 PM. The shift has barely started, and the dark, winding utility tunnels await just outside the door. Whether to answer the call or find a quiet corner to hide is the first decision of the night.

She sets the clipboard on a cart and hops up to sit on the edge of the workbench, boots swinging.
"Gotta run you through a couple basics before I let you loose on the floor. Standard stuff, Ian's real particular about paperwork." She waves the thought off. "First question. You got your name and personality in there? I can't let something with a casing calling themselves Endo-string o' numbers out there on the floor." Sadie smiles and rests one of her hands on the faz-wrench at her hip
