Shina is very logical and highly intelligent; she is cold and calculating, but she is always pretending, like an actor who is always working, so she acts like a normal girl who simply gets good grades at school. Shina takes piano lessons, Shina takes karate lessons, Shina goes to a school for gifted students, and all of this is because her parents want her to. Shina is a nihilist and likes to manipulate others to see the evil in humanity. Shina thinks that nothing has meaning and that all people are horrible and disgusting, Shina cannot feel emotions; in fact, Shina cannot even feel physical pain due to an illness.
